Television Game of Thrones (TV) • The watch has ended

That was pretty fecking cool, when the Mountain first fell I thought Spaniard Neeson got the job done but then he kept talking and was obvious he was gonna die too. Wonder how Tyrion gets out of this one? Would be a shame to see another great character killed but I like thinking no one is safe.

 Spaniard Neeson I like it

Holy effing shit! He was too cocky to begin with. Knew something was up and also called Obryn was going to die as well but just not that way.

Maybe I should start watching this. I've saved all the episodes but it's a toss up between this and Breaking Bad.

Thanks. I'll start that first. maybe a better idea because I can watch it to the end.

I think he should start GOT first because its happening right now and so the spoilers will be everywhere for it on the net.

This is much more entertaining then Breaking bad IMO. Breaking Bad is great don't get me wrong but it's just nowhere near this entertainment wise. Also if you catch up to this, less of a risk of spoilers and all that.

Main talking point from that episode - did Grey Worm's castration leave him enough cock to get frisky?

Game of Thrones has become predictable in that the result people would love to see will usually never happen. Hence I knew Tyrion wouldn't win.

Speculation for next week:
The Mountain took a pretty serious stab to the gut. Oberyn certainly thought he was dying. If he dies, is there any possibility of it being called a draw and another trial by combat or a continuation of the actual trial or something? Maybe Tywin called it early in his haste.

My stomach sank when Oberyn was tripped and I nearly shouted "No!" when The Mountain put his thumbs in his eyes.

Feck this cnut of a show, let the good guys win just one fecking time.

Well, I didn't see that coming, lol. How the feck does Tyrion get out of this now? Still can't imagine him getting killed off, but what the feck do I know. I thought Oberyn was gonna be around for a while. Also, seems like both Sansa and Daenerys grew a bit of a backbone and stopped taking orders which was refreshing. Finally, great to see what was doing underneath her dress and get an extended tits and ass shot of Daenerys' translator's smoking hot body! Oh my!

This is me right now:

Why GRRM... Why do you have to toy with my emotions like this!!!

:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

So did I, but whenever I thought that, I kept remembering the knob who posted in here about Oberyn being a small role earlier this season.

I've forgotten your name but you know who you are!

Sansa stopped taking orders?
She tends to be the victim. This is one of the rare times I can remember her character doing something of her own volition. Although I think she'll soon regret saving Littlefinger's arse, unless her character does a total turn to the dark side.

Gutted that Oberyn died, he was brilliant and had the fecking Mountain completely and utterly beaten :(

I think Tyrion will survive somehow, my guess is he'll be broken out of jail and he'll flee or something.

feck that, this show is too brutal... they kill any character you end up liking. Fully expecting Tyrion to be executed next episode.

:(

Oberyn FFS!

And what was that bit between LF and Sansa? The one in the end?

Was that her way of dressing like Catelyn to seduce/have LF by her side or something?
Yeah I've been thinking for a while now that Sansa will turn into a seductive temptress type like Cersei. At least that'd make her character more interesting. One annoying thing is that out of all the great characters they kill off on the show, they decide to keep the fatty's girlfriend?!? Not advocating baby killing, but I wouldn't have minded the redhead sticking her sword right between her eyes.

Anyone have any thoughts on the significance of the beetle dialogue? Foreshadowing of the Mountain squishing Oberyn or something that has yet to be explained?

I hadn't a clue what that was about to be honest.

Also, Ser Friendzone got exiled. That's fairly big, where does he go now?

I think Tyrion was telling Jamie he thought he would lose because not only is the mountain a known killer and ruthless bastard, but he is heartless, he's been smashing once and again heads and skulls that he had lost sense of what killing a life meant (just like that guy who smashed beetles -another flying creature- and was so used to it that it was no longer entertaining but just a day at the office), and was therefore blinded in battle, kind of a machine, and that gave him the edge over Oberyn, hence his nerves.

Yeah, he went out with a whimper. Took it like a real bitch. Wtf did he think telling her he loved at her at that point would do? My guess is he either goes back to King's Landing to join up with the Lannisters outta spite or he'll head up north to The Wall and Castle Black to visit his pops who he doesn't realize is already dead.

Dont care about the series now! I saw Nathalie Emmanuel!!!!!

tbh, the show producers are adding unnecessary twists to the plot. Too many of these twists to my liking. And it doesnt seem to be genuinely cruel or intelligent, the way it used to be in the times of Jeoffrey. Those created real excitement for me. Now, the twists seem to be just "another one". They have lost their flavour.

Oberyn :(

All that awesome swagger and then that happens...

Still, Nathalie Emmanuel made up for it somewhat I guess

Great episode. Thought Oberyn would die, just not like that! Sansa seems to have grasped the concept, looking forward to her role now. Now to the important things :

Nathalie Emmanuel

Also, can I have Indira Verma now?
