I thought he did well and was unlucky that Friedel managed to block his effort as he lifted it quite well.
He did the right thing in that situation IMO, trying to lift it over the keeper. Very unlucky.

Needs to play a lot more!! The guy has played UCL games and some intensive French League 1 games with Bordeaux and still isn't being trusted here, even now with all the injuries..

we play him on the wings most of the time. He really is a forward. Him and Macheda may not be a bad idea at all.

For once I actually agree with you. This could work. He gives us pace from midfield which is something we lack.
I really believe he has what it takes to become a star here as long as he gets the opportunities, and I've been saying that since his first appearance so it's nothing to do with today.

He's too easy to pick up when he plays centrally. He's far better starting in a wide position and then moving into space where he can use his pace.

A positive from today. Think he has started to really show some promise in his recent matches. He's still very rough round the edges but could be molded into a very good player for us. I like how he takes players on it almost looks easy to him and he has pace which is a must.

I think Bebe is also more a striker than a winger. He has been poor at his crossing certainly. But than Fergie always starts them on the wings.

Does not have the off the ball movement of a striker and doesn't suit being played in the front as he is more effective with the ball at his feet.
I've watched him play for the U21's as a striker and he looked absolutely off... Once he was reverted as a winger, he simply shined.
Its not surprising really that you comment that he should be a striker after he puts 1 poor performance with a few miss hit crosses etc...
He could be like Henry. Henry started of as a winger and slowly learnt how to play as a striker. Could work. Anyway, i am liking what i'm seeing at the moment.

He is becoming more direct and getting his head up more and more and obviously he is beginning to reap the rewards.
