Gabriel Jesus | Signs for City

I like Gabigol, but I'd say Gabriel Jesus looks to be an even better player. I think Gabigol has some questions about his mentality too, so it'll be interesting to see how he turns out.
Interesting, I ask because a remember a lot of hype surronding Gabigol when he first broke out a season or two ago. Anyone else we should be looking out for? I remember the hype earlier in the summer for Gerson(?) but nothing substantiated and rumours of his attitude issues arose.

Gabigol is more of a poacher from waht I've seen and read, whereas again from what I've seen and read Gabriel Jesus is a more complete player.

Gerson has gone to Roma, Barca decided not to use their "first option" clause. I don't think he has that much of an attitude problem, more that his performances dropped with the massively increased speculation about his transfer, which is understandable for a 19 year old.

Boschilia has gone to Monaco for €10m, Kenedy to Chelsea. The ones that I know of to watch are Marlon the defender for Fluminese (said to be very similar to Thiago Silva), Caju the left back for Santos and they have an attacking midfielder called Lima who is hihgly rated but I think he just did cruciate ligaments. They also have a player called Otavio, who I think is fairly highly rated but not ever so much.

Yeah, this ain't happening. By the time we would be even looking at him he'll have a pre-contract at Barca/Madrid. Wait and see.
Nah, we'll show interest when it's time for him to renew his contact with Barca/Madrid.

From what I gather, we should be looking at this kid rather than martial as one of our long term striking solution. Albeit, I would expect a price as crazy as the latter. Not that, I m in the position to judge who will turn out to be the better player.

He has some skills. Can see him going in 2 years for a nice fee to Barca or Real as their new shiny toy. Looks impressive from the vids so far.

Memphis Martial Jesus

What a front three that would be.. plenty of years of service.

his 2016 highlights so far

he's been inconsistent but thats normal for his age, still very high on him

he's been linked with united for what thats worth

We have a better thread on him. Why not post your vid there. Take it no new news?!

Who do you think is a better prospect, Gabriel Jesus or Gabriel Barbosa (Gabigol)?

The attacker’s economic rights are divided between his club Palmeiras (30%), his agent Cristiano Simões (32.5%), his former agent Fabio Caran (22.5%) and himself (15%).

The youngster was going to be called up for the Copa America to replace Santos’ striker Ricardo Oliveira after an injury, but couldn’t travel to the United States as he had no American Visa to enter the country. Despite Dunga’s anger over this, Jesus is still one of the biggest features in Brazil’s team for the Olympics in August.

United made a bid in April according to newspaper, but not his agents. Fabulous player. Don't miss him during the olympics.

Looked a little bit raw in Copa America game
That's Gabriel Barbosa (Gabigol). Gabriel Santos will play in the Olympics, I think it will worth watching. He is also a bit raw but Santos is more skillful and he plays better as winger.

Both are named Gabriel, so it can be easy to be confusing.

Even easier to confuse Gabriel Barbosa and Gabriel Jesus if you add a Gabriel Santos on top! :p

How is the reception for him over in Brazil? He looks good but nowhere near as flashy or technical as Neymar did at Santos.
