Gabriel Jesus | Signs for City

Looks a very average player on youtube. I'd be more worried about him leaving for a shitty spanish side in 3 years time than Barca coming in for him if i were a city fan.
So you've never actually watched him then? Basically talking rubbish from that point onwards because you haven't got any idea.

Nope it's City that is made for Pep literally. Ever since his 2 former Barca colleagues arrived at City everything has been working towards getting Pep as the coach and providing him with everything he needs to succeed

Not really.

PSG he would have just as much money, more patience with upper management and a domestic league he would walk easily. In addition, PSG is superior in terms of personnel vs City and the team is more ideal than City.

Rubbish league though
City also beat PSG last year...so I don't know about them being much better

More patience ? I disagree. Pep will be afforded plenty of patience at City.
Why would he want a domestic league that is no challenge ?
Personnel I'll give you but City are assembling the personnel Pep wants at this very moment.
With Ferran Soriano as CEO and Txiki Begiristain as DoF Pep has his own guys in the key positions. No other club gives him that.

The reason Pep has said he joined City is because people have always been asking whether he could succeed with his style in the English league, and he wanted to try and prove that he can. He'd have no interest in going to PSG at this stage of his career, and when he's done with City I imagine he'll be going to Italy. Plus, your points are not true at all. As much money? Maybe. More patience with him? No chance, City have been obsessed with landing Guardiola plus he's only going to stay for three years anyway so it's not really relevant. I'd dispute that PSG are superior based on the two CL games last season plus their loss of Ibrahimovic, who was so important to them.

Getting my This guy and Sane seems overkill. Surely Sterlings minutes are numbered

Just because City won this season vs an injured PSG team doesnt make you better..... Especially, when you have Blanc as a manager.

City doesn't play anything close to Pep's style of football, while PSG does. Hence, why I said personnel is more ideal at PSG moreso than City. City is a counter attacking team with both KDB +Sterling on the side. PSG on the other hand have a ton of one touch possession players on their team that would excel under Pep.

City making the semis was based on pure luck, very similar to how real madrid won the champs league last season or how Portugal won the Euros.

How is being vegetarian the solution? Hunting is not ok, but being a fisherman integrated with nature is ok. What in. the. feck.

Because it was always his dream to play for them in his playing days..right?

That and he wants to test his managerial capabilities in a team that isn't by far and away the richest in the league and able to buy who ever they want when they want,

He really wants to test his abilities as a.......... hang on a minute.

So Pep is fisherman, PSG are non-vegetarian and City are vegetarian, right?

If this one goes through then the options City have for the future will be Sterling/Moreno left, Sane/Roberts right, Kelechi/Jesus up top & Zinchenko/Brahim at CAM. That's some talent pool being developed.

Expected this to be a window of sorting out our here & now problems, removing aging players & replacing with ready made first teamers, but it seems we're heading for a window to set us up for the future & will be relying on old faces (+ Gundogan/Nolito) this season. United have certainly strengthened the here-and-now first 11. Should make for interesting battles for this season & the future.

Yep, interesting strategy from City. If you don't get any other players this transfer window, you will probably be in difficulties and likely out of a title race, but on the other hand, the future seems bright. While obviously not all of those young players will develop well, if just 2 of them become world class, then it will be great for you. On Moreno, Jesus, Sane and Kalechi you really have top talents, and it will be interesting to see how they will develop.

The only problem with this approach is actually developing the players when they aren't playing enough games.

That said, it might not be that much for the future, perhaps they expect some of these to come in and have an impact, ala Martial.
