GAA 2017

Fair play to Mayo. They're giving themselves every chance to be beaten by the Dubs in a few weeks.

There'll be no fear of that, Jackeen.

Liam & Sam are heading west this year.

@lem8sh belt away now to whereever it is that know it all from Tipp disappeared to a few weeks back. See ya next year.

Dublin should not be troubled by Mayo. Poor display by Kerry. Not great by ref either.

Good luck to Tyrone btw, I would be thrilled to see them lift Sam this year.

I'm still sore after two weeks ago (or is it three now? :nervous:), @The Black Pearl. I was in no humour to be talking hurling with you or anyone else for that matter. Galway deserved to squeak the win but there wasn't a whole lot in it. On another day, our forwards wouldn't have been so wasteful in their search for green flags.

I'm looking forward to the final now. Waterford are lucky the golden child was allowed to play. Disgraceful that he got away with it, if truth be told.

Well, that showed me. Fair play Mayo, just hope now they don't roll over as they usually do in the final.

Galway-Waterford is already a great one for neutrals, Mayo-Tyrone would be a similarly good one for the sport. Let's see what happens tomorrow.

I don't think Mayo would have much chance against Tyrone, Andy and co. would have nowhere near the same space they got in the two Kerry games and would be very reliant on frees to get their scores.

If we get bate by these shower of cnuts I'll be suicidal. Hate Mayo with a passion.

Only one shower of cnuts out there yesterday, and it wasn't us!

Delighted with the win, let these two hammer away at each other today and we'll beat what's left in 3 weeks time. 4 finals in 6 years and we still listen all year to it being a Dublin, Kerry, Tyrone top 3. We're not going away until we win one.

Tyrone are a great team, but haven't beaten us in a while now in league or championship. We seem to have the measure of them.

Yeah you's do, I suppose it will help big time having O'Shea freed up more and not having to drop back as much, for you's to stand any chance in the final Lee Keegan needs to seriously step up his game, he's without a doubt one of the best players in the country but was quiet both times against Kerry, do you think he's still struggling with that injury?

Although your inside forwards particularly Moran have been exceptional, they won't get anywhere near the space they did against Kerry if they meet Tyrone, expect Moran to get similar treatment to Clarke when we played them in the QF.

Anyway, would love to see Mayo finally do it, but not fussed as long as someone beats the Dubs.

So much for the two crackers of football semi-finals we were supposed to be treated too this weekend.

With the help of god This time next week the maroon & white ribbons will be tied to the Liam McCarthy cup for the first time in 30 years.

This Dublin possibly the best side to play the game according to Sean Kavanagh. That was unreal today, so clinical, skilful and powerful.

Honestly can't believe what I saw yesterday, Tyrone were shockingly poor, but that Dublin team is scarily good, every player on their bench would walk into the first 15 of any other county. They'll face a different challenge in the final, at least Mayo will try and attack them but I'd say the Dubs will be well fit for them.

And thats with Connolly on the bench. That Con O'Callaghan fella is something else as well.

Heard his interview on Off The Ball, interview in the Bus tunnell in Croker. I don't think this Dublin team are getting the credit they deserve. They're a machine. A realy entertaining gaelic football team. They play the way football is supposed to be played.

15 Tyrone men behind their own 45 and they still made space at will. The off the ball running was incredible. The angles and constant motion had Tyrone flummoxed.

Very very long shot on here I know but just in case...
I have two tickets for the hurling final on Sunday, looking to swap for two tickets for the Dubs! Up de Dubs!

This time Monday eve I hope to finally have my hands on the Liam McCarthy Cup here in Gort. It'll be like a dream come true for me. I doubt ye'll ever see me on here again if we do it. I'll go absolutely mental celebrating for months on end.

How are you feeling? I'm buzzing right now, can't wait, but expect to be nervous Sunday morning.

I never had no confidence prior to any Galway Hurling match, I always believe in them. I feel like the wait is over. All that heartbreak & suffering since we last won it nearly 30 years ago will be behind us tomorrow evening.

An emotional day for those of us that has followed the Galway Hurlers through thick & thin lies ahead. There'll be tears shed by the toughest of men if the Liam McCarthy Cup is lifted up into the clouds by a Galway man in Croke Park tomorrow.

Exact same seat for tomorrow as the semi-final. Loyalty & Dedication to the cause being rewarded. Gaillimh Abú.

good Luck tomorrow @The Black Pearl - Hopefully Kinnegad gets a few of you stopping off celebrating on way home.

Really hope you do it. F**king disgusted I have to let Waterford down. Would love it for them as well. Canning deserves an AI

Wheres the team based tonight?
