My poor wife is in a state of depression. I was surprised monaghan won tbh but it was probably deserved especially when you should have got a penalty / goal in the first half. How that free at the end wasn't given against your keeper baffled me though.

Good Luck for the final though. I'll get on board the Farney bus that day.
 
If we win today I might have to get on board the glory train. My Dad and Uncle who attend league games as well reckon Dublin look really good this year. Cue a loss today.
 
So Meath are through, fairly comfortable in the last few minutes. Gutted I'm not in there for the Dubs game but the dubs looking decent enough this year so hopefully a good win here for us today.

I went for the first four years after I moved west, but it's just too expensive and quite a lot of hassle.
 
hehe, 5 points up! great start for Kildare. Dublin look the better side, so a good few early points from Kildare will make a great game of it.

We didn't have a slow start. They scored 1-1 from two slips, even at 5 down we we better with the ball.

I don't get thee as much as used to, used to come back from London to go to games when I could but with the current job I don't get as many weekends off. Had this weekend off but had other things to do today so I missed out on this one.

Well true. But I was still unhappy. The score at the start made me a sad iSparky.
 
London are humiliating Leitrim. It'll take a long time for them to recover from this. London Vs Mayo connaught final. Come on the Capitol.
 
Really? I was tempted to go to that game. Connaught is really poor at the moment. I hate Mayo as football team.
 
Dublin will take some beating this year unless they get full of themselves and lose focus.
 
It's like a training match for the dubs now, looking so relaxed and just enjoying their football 100%.

I agree moses. Nothing like a good Dublin run to get the summer going. I have to say that from the favs I'd love to see Mayo pick up Sam over Dublin or Donegal though. If ever a county deserved a spot of luck it's them.

If Tyrone get to a semi-final it'll be considered a good summer.
 
Well it was nice to see a good entertaining team in action for a change anyways. I wouldn't mind Dublin winning Sam to be fair. A good footballing side, it could only be good for the game and fair play to Kildare today as well, they weren't on the same level as Dublin but they gave it a right lash and went for the jugular right from the off all the same, none of that boring defensive shit Down tried against Donegal above in the north last weekend. Good man Irwin!

Normally I'd have Mayo as my No2 please don't win team (after Derry) but with Donegal playing such shite, the Dubs winning a few years ago and none of Kerry/Tyrone/Cork looking likely I'm starting to look to Mayo. Never has a team suffered from so many final defeats and it's about time they got the win they are due.

Have they been unlucky? They beat us in a semi in Croker a few years back, they had a decade of luck in that game and then got destroyed by Kerry in the final. That semi defeat was one of many chokings by that Dublin side, mostly to better sides than Mayo, but the Mayo fans were stand alone in their reaction. It showed me a side to them that I haven't been able to unsee.

:lol: I'll never forget that final. I was working in the Venue in Strandhill that day and strangely there was a load of Mayo people there. I had a right laugh at them getting hockeyed. Over the past 50 years they have got to so many finals and lost them all. The story about the team bus passing the travelers funeral and them getting a hex put on them looks to be true!
 
Kildare were amazingly shite today. Seriously bad, and its hard to know how good we actually were.

Brogan worried me today tbh. Wasnt close to his best, and I think we need him hitting near top form if we are to go all the way. Good thing Kilkenny, Connolly and Mannion seem to be scoring though, and at least Brogan can play below par and we still hammer Kildare.

Meath didnt look great, and apart from them being game-raisers, it should be a handy enough final.
 
The Dubs will as usual piss Leinster. Losing a final or two would be a benefit to you at this point. Leinster and Connaught are seriously devoid of any real competition.
