the accuracy.

Title change made me think that there was an official confirmation. We've had about seventy billion reports from different journalists that a fee has been agreed. Why is this different?

A player who openly wanted to stay at Barcelona and got forced out will be just another mercenary like Pogba. No CL the next seasons either and if you get a lucky 4th, round of 16 is going to be the highest United will get in CL. Average mercenary team. I don't know how United fans can't see that after 10 years of absolute failure and embarrassment despite throwing money around like they are PSG.
Barca fans are taking it well then

Who you gonna support when the bailiffs take the goalposts out of the Spotify Camp Nou pal?

Suggest you look a little closer to home for the mercenaries chief - and as for throwing money around like PSG, you want to remind us of the fees for Coutinho, Dembele, or Griezmann?

Enjoy your impending liquidation, idiot.

First time T1 confirmed total fee agreement, not just the base

The agreement was imminent, now it happened.

Its come from a source that only reports facts and not speculation like the others

Fergie once said "The best players are always the hardest to get "

Guaranteed figure has increased and it is a very reliable source. Suggests we changed the structure of the deal this week to help Barca with the issue of a severance package that will allow them to pay FDJ off and save face.

Barcelona outbid PSG for De Jong.

I am not a big fan of how United conducted themselves on the transfer market. We were slow, we went for the players the manager wanted no questions asked, we often paid clubs what they wanted and we've yet to get rid of players who clearly have no future here. This new and improved Man United doesn't look as new and improved at all.

However I find FDJ's wanting to stay at Barca a bit iffy. He insists that he wants to be there despite the fact that they are treating him like unwanted furniture, they keep demanding that he take pay cuts despite they are still able to find loads of money for new toys and they are trying to find all clever way possible to untangle themselves from paying him the 17m owned. Sure United might lack Barcelona's front and CL football but they have the manager who made him the player he is, they want him enough to send Arnold and Murtough to Barcelona and of course we can pay our bills. Which really makes you wonder. Does he want to remain at Barca because he loves them or because he wants to screw them up or at least he wants his money back? This reminds me of a former neighbour of mine who got separated from her husband. She refused to leave their matrimonial home (whom they paid for together but is under his name) up until he paid what is due to her.

If we get De Jong,Martinez,Eriksen and a good RB we will be a strong team going forward and i predict 2nd place in PL and we will win the Europa Cup. In ETH we trust! :D

Unfortunately I disagree. We've yet to sort the DM role, we're still weak at RW and we need a striker.

Dunno if anyone has suggested it but since this has now gone from 65+20 to 75+10 perhaps the impasse on Frenkies payment is broken as that extra guaranteed 10 is to cover half of money?

Have absolutely no doubt about Ten Haag. But we still have som disruptive players in our ranks. If he survive two seasons, we might have a chance.

Of course - but not embarassing 2 months of licking Barca and also knowing that the player never once said he wants to come here.

This is not acceptable from our club.

Have you seen any other serious club going through this?
Did City/Liverpool/Spurs etc take two months to get their players?!
Ridiculous.
One of the worst posts I’ve seen in a while and I’ve seen @esmufc07’s about gaming

I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if that were true. If covering half the cost of the deferred wages is what it takes to get the deal done, then so be it. He's worth another £10 million of anyone's money.

There is an obvious difference here. I know players don't dream of Everton and see us as a middle ground club and that's fine, we are.

Off-topic I know but I was watching old footage of Everton v Inter Milan from September 1963. It was the first-ever European Cup tie to be played on Merseyside. You were unlucky in that game as it finished 0-0 and you lost 0-1 in Italy. Everton had some good players back then.
