Maybe you are right, the money owed is big but I’m sure if that gets sorted in one way or the other, he stays.
Never been invested in the signing. Don’t think he is that great either although a very classy player and a lot better than what we have - but that is not hard.
Want us to move on with other CM options, potentially 2 new in instead. Just my opinion though but if you are invested carry on of course, I’m just tired of it so whacking the thread on ignore.

The source I don't think is that great and is another attempt to pressure Unted. Not too concerned by that as we knew Chelsea were interested before.

Although, if the reports about the deferred wages problem are true, it is difficult to see how Chelsea would be better placed than United to resolve it. It seems to be an issue that can only really be resolved by Barca and De Jong.
I do think there are generally more active users than there were back then.

He won’t go to Chelsea over us and Chelsea need two defenders. I don’t see it as a priority.

They'll just put in a bid that funds the repayment for Barcelona. So instead of £56m, they'll put in a bid of £73m (£56m + £17m) if they are that desperate for the player. Its likely what Barcelona would have wanted United to do. Chelsea are one of the clubs crazy enough to do it.
