The question is if you play them now why would you stop. You don't actually change that much over the years. You don't wake up one morning and suddenly find yourself wearing tweed and tending to your rose bushes.
I play video games most evenings, and spend my days tending to my rose bushes. Don’t own any tweed though. God only knows how old I am :wenger:

Is deJong likely to come here still? Alternatively I see Liverpool have released Origi, different type of player but still very good.

That makes no sense at all?

Of course FDJ & Origi are two different types of players. They play in two completely different positions.

Ederson & De Bruyne are two different types of players.

Definitely a must for our midfield. Different type of player though you’re right.

Yeah and if that doesn't work out, maybe Harlequins will sell us Marcus Smyth.

I convince myself I'm bored with video games and over it but that's cause I cant play the one I want on laptop and dont have Playstation.
I just know if I buy Playstation I'll get addicted and all hell will brake loose.

If he comes there needs to be a rule on RefCafe to only call him Frenkie or De Jong. Not FDJ, that's the worst name in the world.

I personally can't wait for ETH and FDJ to come and play alongside DDG.

Humanity is going backwards. What are we? destroyers of world.

I find it annoying. Its every common with the kids now in sports forums in the States. I find it fecking annoying -- its takes me more time trying to figure out who the feck that initials stand for than just to type the fecking surname out.

So the conclusion so far is that if the player wants to join, and both clubs agree a transfer, then we can expect this transfer to happen.

Stop saying 'brief', not all sources are 'briefs' from the club. The idea the football club needs to send out 'briefs' to placate jittery lunatics on the Internet who couldn't point to Old Trafford on a map is a joke. Your second week of June meltdown is of no consequence.
I see you woke up and chose violence this morning

In a world where Tchouameni and Nunez are worth €100m, De Jong is worth €60-80m.

He's better and more proven than either of those. Barca have just been using him wrong.

Monaco and Benfica don’t need to sell, barca yes, this have influence on the price

Agreed.

Oh yeah
But surely things have changed materially since then. I am not denying Joel Glazer wants to ratify deals but we have apparently overhauled the process. There must be some better autonomy in the process to enable deals to be done earlier.

I can see Joel Glazer wanting to four eyes a Darwin deal but not say, Timbers?
It looks like the Glazers were pretty hands-off in the early part of Woodward’s tenure, presumably because they trusted him. The longer we kept spending huge sums on duds and not improving, the more they started to get involved.

Let’s hope that the Arnold regime starts to deliver. If it does they may well take a back seat again.

As others have mentioned, talksport has become very good in breaking news ahead of Tier 1 journalist.

This signing hopefully is going to take us in right direction. Never understood the constant moaning about why we are pursuing a player who was hesitant to join us. This potentially would be our best signing post Ferguson
