On like like that expressive virtual ape
It’s actually Brenkie now. We boolin don’t tell @ReallyUSA“Frenkie” - what the hell are the Dutch on?
what happened to good old “Frank”?
Of course they were? They all became legends at future clubs and were the key players in CL wins/runs and title wins (barring Ozil and Sanchez, since Arsenal). But even those 2 were obviously world class. The fact that Barcelona is ok to sell him doesn't have anything to do with it really. They just want to build towards a different type of midfielder. Pedri is their star to build around, so Frenkie will always be 2nd there and him and Pedri together isn't really a natural pairing given the roles each like to have. Pedri is much more of your traditional Barcelona midfielder like Xavi/Iniesta, rather than Frenkie being more of a Modrić type who likes to operate in the positions late career Scholes liked to operate. That's not your typical Barca midfielder.
And like I said, it's very different to Pogba. Pogba was an advanced player who likes operating in the opposition's half and hates playing in our half, yet we shoe horned him as a deep playmaker. Frenkie is naturally that. And we have Ten Hag in who used him perfectly and had the system where De Jong first stood out. So I wouldn't be concerned with that at all. Personally, he's one where I don't give a feck about the finances. Tchouameni would have been another. They are players who I'm convinced are the right options and the best possible options we could dream of for those roles, so getting them in is the most important. He's a very unique player with a skill set that only a handful of players in Europe have, so if you can get that in with a system that works for him, then you do it. Just look at the difference he makes for Netherlands. He comes in, and he's instantly one of the top 3 midfielders in the league with Thiago and De Bruyne.

It won’t cost a huge amount to replace because they have Pedri and Gavi. They already have his replacements. And that’s not a red flag because they’re both amazing talents.
Whether other clubs come in for them or not is irrelevant. What's relevant is whether they made solid contributions at their next clubs and Ozil/Sanchez were a devastating duo that produced one of Arsenal's best spell of form in Wenger's latter years. So Sanchez, Ozil and the rest of them were all £90 million value players that Madrid and Barcelona sold off for half of that were they. So why didnt other clubs come in and sign them for £90 million from their next clubs?
You have a whole laundry list of players who were not bought by another top team for £90 million. A whole list. And the answer is obvious. Because thats huge money and they were worth closer to the smaller fees that the clubs paid for them to sign them from Madrid and Barcelona.
So of course they werent £90 million players like Pogba wasnt for us.
We also have Steven, Steven and Stefan.Current Dutch internationals:
Denzel, Memphis, Davy, Wout, Daley, Jasper, Jurrien, Virgil, Noa, Teun, Cody.
Frenkie is positively bland by comparison.

Lack of "interest" doesn't take away the fact that Frenkie is a quality CM that's an immediate and astronomical upgrade on our options.
Why is that funny? Think about the emotions people have attached to United, what it means to people when United play on the weekend. Think about the money people spend to support United, whether it's going to games, buying merchandise, and this guy comes on against one of our biggest rivals, our city rival, if anyone should be up for it, it's him, and he just strolls around the pitch, losses possession and couldn't give a toss. If you think this guy cares about you, or any fan, or the club then you are deluded. And on top of that, he's shite.
No. His best position isn't DM because that's where SMT and FRPS play.
What? Money in 2009 was not the same value as now? And not all of them were valued the same/or as proven. So Sanchez, Ozil and the rest of them were all £90 million value players that Madrid and Barcelona sold off for half of that were they. FTFYMcTominey isn't a midfielder, not even close.

I'm just saying it's an entirely irrelevant example. A player can be a world class player or a great signing for one club and a bad (or not perfect) fit for another club. That's literally all there is to it. What are you trying to say exactly? That De Jong isn't worth a high price? By what logic is he not worth a high price? He has plenty of years left on his deal, he has world class and unique talent, and he has shown this very often! He's not a random bench player who hasn't fulfilled potential and is seen as a flop, he isn't a player who has 1 year left on his deal, he isn't always injured so the team is over it... He's a high value player who Barcelona just are able to sell without changing their future plans because they happen to have Pedri already. So for a team in financial need like them, it just makes sense.
Mental innit. Over here, it's a trend among poor white people to use children's nicknames officially. "Frenkie", "Donny", etc.“Frenkie” - what the hell are the Dutch on?

That's not how football works though? If you are trying to sign a top player like De Jong, who is young, not injury prone, has years left on his contract... How exactly do you plan to sign him on a cut price deal? They would just say no.I'm saying exactly what ive said in previous posts in this thread, perhaps you should read them.
If we sign him it should be at a cut price from Barcelona's deal and his wages there. We shouldnt be doing a deal similar to the Barcelona one which would be another Pogba situation
I dont have any faith in us not doing the Barcelona deal though. Thats why I think we're setting up for failure.
Ruud has the best name ever: Rutgerus Johannes Martinus van Nistelrooij. Like, what?Mental innit. Over here, it's a trend among poor white people to use children's nicknames officially. "Frenkie", "Donny", etc.
Imagine a grown Stam being called "Jaapie"
It's still preferably to rich white people giving their children 2 names. "Jan Willem", "Anne Fleur" are given names, and most of these babies (after supposedly growing up), will get upset if you only use one of the two.
More of these types of tweets from the reliable journos, then it's time to celebrate!
More reliable than Raza? Good one.
I was more referring to having several trusted sources in a short time period tweeting breaking news
I was being a sarcastic idiot.
Looking at his profile picture, I would say….extremely.How reliable is this guy?

I would question if he is a United fan (truly) … I almost asked but didn’t want the “oh so you’re a ‘true’ fan are you because you think the club’s perfect?” replyIts amazing that a United fan is slagging off and calling the club arrogant. I understand fans of other clubs but the constant slagging off of our club is just ridiculous. And the natural instinct to think that the Club was in the wrong in most situations or scenarios is just mind-boggling.
Why even support the club is they are always in the wrong? Its a great club.
There is so much projection and re-direction going on nowadays.
I half assumed, but doubled down on the thought you weren't .
But seriously, sorry Raza you are totes reliable and this is an exciting update

In all seriousness, he went very early with the Ten Hag being done news, when it was still very much deemed a 2 horse race between him and Poch. But there is every chance that he just gambled with no 'reputation' to lose and is going big again (on something that looks increasingly likely). Basically, I don't think he's been proven to be full of shit yet, but there is every chance he just got lucky.
How reliable is this guy?
