For all the focus on him this Summer he could prove to very Pogba-ish if he does sign, in that we end up spending 3 years talking about how best to use him. Talented but tactically chaotic.

Zero chance of that. We have a manager that he made his name under, you’d think he knows how to use him.

So after all the Cafsperts proclaimed him to be the new messiah, it turns out ‘Frankie’ is shite after all.

Laporta been playing ‘5d chess.

Murtough & Arnold outfoxing him by not quite sorting the deal out.

Mad scenes.

It’s a crazy, mixed up, world.

In the Dutch league, PL is a different challenge. He needs a very disciplined and observant partner who can react to his wandering ways but who can also move into forward spaces and give FDJ room to pick the ball up deep.

He is very good, but he isn't a midfield messiah is all I am saying.

The 98% were mostly sideways or backwards. I was 100% behind this signing because EtH wanted him, until tonight. He’s doing a good impression, so far, of McT without even putting his foot in. I’ll await the stick.
To be fair to him Xavi playing a bit of a suicidal formation with just 3 at the back and no wing backs who will come back.

Absolutely. But if he's adamant that he wants to stay, then more fool him to be fair. I'm hoping we make him a stellar offer that he just thinks wow at

Yeah we really want to pair you with a midfielder from your bitter rivals, so what would be this stellar offer then

Any body language experts who can work out a time table for when he signs for us based on tonight's game?

Folks, It would be unreal to get this done so good that I just can't get my head around it and after the signing of Casemiro, I just don't see this happening...sorry.

Disclaimer: I know feck all and hopefully those shithouses in the boardroom prove me wrong.

Yeah I don't either so no idea where Van Der Kraan is getting that stuff from, then again like I said earlier did he even say it

What will it take for him to realise the grass could be greener in Manchester if he gave it a chance

It’s pretty clear Barcelona don’t need or want Frenkie. They’re desperate, as we all know, to get rid of him.

But does Frenkie actually want to pull a Bale?

Watching him tonight, and watching the games in the PL so far this season, I do worry about the apparent lack of intensity in his play.

His performance tonight may just have sealed Chelsea’s decision to no longer pursue him. He played like Chelsea’s midfield today.

Casemiro, the chance to be the main man and the club's ambition to bring in top talent in Antony and Gakpo and other future signings.

If these stories are true, that they treat him so badly with owed wages and also trying to force him out of the club and he with all that said still did not want to come here after we had reportedly agreed a deal with them then feck him.

He's beyond daft if that is the case.
