Horrible boss
Assuming the money on offer is the same, it would be a sign of how far this club has fallen that a player would choose a club like Chelsea over signing for Manchester United. Christ. Sad times.
Cavani was a panic buy, Ighalo was a panic buy, the recent Arnautovic pursuit is panic.
None of these were planned targets. No one actually believes this to be the case, it was a scurry to find bodies who can do a job.

There are still plenty of time, but they have to surely work really hard non-stop. They just got Pique reduced the salary again, then Busquet tomorrow. I guess those two pay reductions will help them register two of new players? Then, it’s FDJ. Getting 75mil (19mil per year for four years) in fee and 28mil per year off payroll probably can help them register another three to four new players? Then, they still need to find fund to register the rest, new transferred-in and contract-renewed? I guess they don’t need to register all before the season opening , they can get all done before the end of the window, right?Barcelona yet to register new signings

Season starts on Saturday folks, running out of time!

This is not true - they could have brought him in many weeks earlier and have him train with the club. He was without a club and the club capitalized on an opportunity. Marko is a panic. Ighalo was a panic emergency. This stuff happens when you have shit planning.I don't think those classify as panic buys, especially Cavani. He was a free transfer coming off injury and the club was monitoring him and brought him in when he was fit, or close to it. Ighalo was an emergency striker and it proved to be an astute signing, similar to Cavani the first year.
Marko's case is more like scrapping the barrel because the striker position is not very good, plus their primary targets (Antony, Sesko) have been priced out or are going somewhere else.
Also actually winning the champions league not only being in it unfortunatelyPlayers have left for Chelsea previously, including Peter fecking Kenyon. Obi Mikal, then Hazard, etc. This situation has been absolutely bizarre because of Barcelona.
Chelsea being in the CL, for now, and the fact it is located in London are very much those factors players consider. And the player's family.
Respectfully that's bollocksAssuming the money on offer is the same, it would be a sign of how far this club has fallen that a player would choose a club like Chelsea over signing for Manchester United. Christ. Sad times.
They'll activate another lever, and reduce some salaries and will be fine. Sell or loan a few players.
They really might keep Frenkie I am thinking, they really like him but would prefer to sell. At the same time they refuse to give in. Well they do, but they don't care about the future.
Why don’t we just loan him for a year

What's garbage about it
Maybe he wants to stay at Barca…Why don’t we just loan him for a year
We as outsiders, observing from distance, actually see the consistent behavior under Laporta leadership. Their approach is consistent to try to squeeze the maximum out of minimum through “clever”/“creative” (semi-fraudulent and void of moral/honest ground). They did it to FDJ and the other players, they did it to the league.I mean Barca have been saying this for weeks but every time La Liga slaps them down with a no you fecking won't. I don't think anyone has pointed out to Laporta that La Liga has it's own accountants and they won't accept the numbers he scribbled on a napkin as proof of meeting FFP.
“I’ll do it if you man do it”Pique and Busquets taking pay cuts to make it happen
Apparently Ter Stegan has also agreed
Guess he has no heart or self-respect whatsoever if so, we will have dodged a bullet regardless of his talent. How do you keep 'fighting for the badge' after the way he has been treated after this?
Also actually winning the champions league not only being in it unfortunately
Nobody disputes that. Are they though. Romano and others have said all along that he wants to stay at Barca - that's been constant throughout.
Barça have a big problem with Frenkie de Jong. He refuses to leave nor negotiate a salary reduction. The club admit that his current wage is totally out of proportion and dangerous for the FFP rules.
Frenkie De Jong neither wants to leave, nor reduce his salary. Maximum tension.
A loan with an option to buy next year.
It will help Barca to get the money the own for de Jong, clear their wage structure and we get the man that ETH dreams of.
So just saw this....

My simple question is this, last week supposedly Barca offered a 7 mil payout... Have they offered a full 17 mil payout?
It seems amazing to me that at some point Barca wouldn't just hand over the money instead of splashing cash on a new signing so they could register their new signings and end this whole mess.
The finger pointing for the sake of it is the simplest way to show one’s true judgment and also the most naive way. At least, one needs to sufficiently consider the context and circumstances before finger pointing, right? Especially in a game with two or more than two parties involved, judgement needs to consider all the circumstances including the other parties’ mindset, character, IQ, EQ, etc. You are finger pointing people because you just think they are shit and stupid. In a game, you are more than likely finishing the losing side. This is not true - they could have brought him in many weeks earlier and have him train with the club. He was without a club and the club capitalized on an opportunity. Marko is a panic. Ighalo was a panic emergency. This stuff happens when you have shit planning.

That's actually quite a good idea.
Also are you the actual Corinthian? Big fan...
Peter Kenyon is not a player but a cnut, Obi Mikel was basically stronghanded into signing for them instead of us (and they still had to pay us a big compensation), and the only reason Hazard went to Chelsea was because SAF refused to cave in to his agent's demands.
the chelsea rumors are that they would pay his deferred wages, so why would barcelona pay them.
