Nah it's just not hard to see why he'd prefer Chelsea who at least behave like a football club who wants to be successful. Maybe he was open to joining United but waited to see some ambition from our side. Players love seeing a club showing ambition, or sends a message that the club wants to improve. If he was previously considering it, he would have seen us do absolutely nothing this window and would second guess coming here as a result.

Is he?? Its not just about the next month. Its about the past however many years. Its about how Chelsea spend big when they want to close the gap to the top, and aren't afraid of making big signings, how they are regularly in the latter stages of the CL, how they compete for the Prem more than United, while United after a season with a goal difference of 0, our worst ever season, have done next to feck all to address any issues we've had going into the season, and we'll likely see both McTominay and Elanga starting it for us. Hell, could easily be a starting lineup with 0 new faces. That's after being a regular Europa League team the last decade, and showing no ambition to be more than that.
Yes, we finally have a good manager, and I'm optimistic for the future. But seeing the absolute shit show of this transfer window from us, how can anyone look at that and think we as a club want to improve or care about challenging or rebuilding. fecking Arsenal are showing more ambition than United and are backing Arteta more than Ten Hag is being backed, it's embarassing.
