Ordinarily I would say it’s quite short sighted for a young player to pick one club solely on CL football for 1 season but… we are in hell of a state for an ‘elite’ club.

With highly confidence i will recommend a alternative option to De Jong. A lot a lot more cheaper, but a really good future upcoming cm player.

Mark this name : Kenneth Taylor. 16.05.2002.

Kenneth Taylor like De Jong can play all of the cm positons and roles. He is like versatile like De Jong

His market value: 4.5 mill euros. Because he is still a unknown player. Why so low market value.
But i can promise you. For 4.5 mill euros. You will not find a better cm player. For that MV and price.

Kenneth Taylor will bring to United versatile and squad depth in cm player. He is quick/fast, mobile and can cover a lot of area.

If not De Jong this summer. The alternative and really low risk. But really good and quality CM option is Kenneth Taylor.

You guys and football world will know more about this player this season. 100 % convince about that.

Kenneth Taylor? I’ll look him up

Genuinely looks like it's shrink wrapped on doesn't it? I wanna know how the hell he got it off
It’s so tight even the number 9 on his back is struggling to stand up straight.

I guarantee you that once he put it on, he looked a complete mess from the front so they just told him to turn around while they took the picture.

It’s a DH Gate rep. Save a few euros.

Only one way to fix that; buy ambitious players who will literally go down in Club history if they are the ones to revive us. That's how it should be sold to players.

Yeah if his choice was solely between Utd and Chelsea I’d agree. But if the option exists that he stays at Barca then he would be sensible to look at how many CL qualifying seasons Utd have had since Ferguson left (5 out of 9, 55% and one of them was because of a Europa win), or how many Barcelona had (I haven’t checked but I’d assume 9 out of 9, all through the league)

Similarly to us, why would Chelsea enter into any negotiations with Barca if they know the player doesn’t want to go to them? Perhaps we are still in the race and Frenkie is evaluating all his options before signing. We already have an agreement with Barca so all we can do is just sit back and hope the player chooses us

Have you not seen Chelsea this summer. They’ve been getting used all summer.

We should be all over Fabian Ruiz instead of chasing Frankie. The only positive of him joining Chelsea is this saga will be over and we can go for the alternatives before its too late.

Yeah they can, but when said representatives have other players who play at the club, it kinda makes for a frosty relationship don't you think?

Again, might not be an issue as the club might view it on a player to player basis, but you know for a fact ten Hag wouldn't see it like that.
Well United and Chelsea seem to be confident enough to go into negotiations with Barca. Which means that his representatives are lying to someone. A bit worried about Chelsea coming in so late, as they definitely would have enquired about our interest before opening talks.

Chelsea would like right fools if they lose out on yet another player, could be that Todd is a fool or they were given guarantees by FDJs Agents.

As for other players that play at the club, nobody cares, The agents and representatives of players do what's best for their players not for their clubs. Raiola was a headache for us didn't stop us trying to get Haaland, he also forced Juve to sell to us in the first place only for them to re sign Pogba. There are countless examples. No club has an amazing relationship with an agent, the agent could be an angel or a devil depending on who he represents. We never had problems with Raiola when it came to Mkhi or Ibra but we did when it came to Pogba.

I seem to remember Raiola throwing chairs in Juve meetings to get Pogba to United only for them to sign De Ligt (another Raiola client) a year or 2 later.

If after all this he is moving to Chelsea then he can feck right off.

He will be leaving that club in a few years anyway.

Considering Chelsea haven't made a bid yet I don't see how he's joining them. Still no one has even confirmed Chelseas interest outside the Athletic, yet sport just keep on rolling.

I hope to god after this, regardless of however it ends up, we ban them completely

Since the strong links with Chelsea emerged this morning, the FDJ thread on the chelsea forum has progressed by 1 page. :wenger:

We really are a special breed of muppets. Glazers really don’t know what they have.

If he goes to Chelsea after all of this it would be borderline hilarious. I want him here but if he really is going to make decisions based on who is in the CL this season then he is probably not the sharpest knife in the drawer. Chelsea are showing ambition this summer but lets be frank, they are spending an obscene amount of money to buy the love of the supporters this window but with their revenues this is simply not sustainable and I would expect some very austere times ahead.

I think it just shows how big United is in comparison

You'd think it would have grown by a considerable amount more... unless they're not convinced by the links?

They are excited about the thought of FDJ coming and how he’d fit in. Some are apprehensive about having 7 midfielders for 2 positions. But it seems the very few there are are getting excited about it.

I guess they just don’t have anywhere near as many active members.

only if they had a way of shifting some of their older players on big wages? only if there were clubs that would be desperate enough to take them...

Possibly...

Has there been any other reports at all from anyone else? Or even about a bid being made? Didn't the report say they were in negotiations but confident about a reaching an agreement?

I still don't understand what Chelsea are offering to make them favorites.

Maybe enough wages to offset his current contract issue with Barca?

Pretty sure they can't offer as much as we can wages wise? Thats what i've read from others on here anyway, but who knows

Nah just really amateur muppets

You‘d think after Raphinha and Koundé one would be sensible to not go overboard right away once more. But yes, there is only one real muppetshow and it ain‘t the Shed End.

Stop all the tweets, cut off the wifi,
Prevent luckyscout from posting on his phone,
Silence the muppets and with muffled drum
Bring out the coffin, let the critics come.

Let dippers circle laughing overhead
Scribbling on the sky the message 'Berbaclass is Dead'.
Put crepe bows round the white necks of the public doves,
Let the forum admin wear black cotton gloves.

He was this threads North, it’s South, it’s East and West,
It’s working week and Sunday rest,
It’s noon, it’s midnight, it’s key poster, it’s song;
I thought that this muppet train would last forever: I was wrong.

The alternatives are not wanted now; put out every one,
Pack up neves and disregard Kante,
Throw away the others and sweep up the deadwood;
For nothing now can ever come to any good
Wow. Culture. Never thought I’d see that on the Caf! We’ll played! :D

Aye, they've had 211 people online in the last 24 hours total, there's 600 members online on here right now.
