French Open 2011

Fed's backhand was magnificent against the shit players until Rafa came and destroyed that backhand of his. Everyone targets it now. Anyway, come on Fed! Win the semi as well please.

Monfils his typical disappointing self. Zero mental strength and a horrible injury record. He exceeded expectations by beating Ferrer.

I don't buy that. Those shit players were constantly battering Nadal. Nadal matches awfully against Federer's style - loopy, high balls with a lot of topspin. Those are the hardest to handle if you are one hander.

Still Federer had many matches on his racket against Nadal, even on clay in his prime(most notably Rome 05).

Too easy for Nadal, this.

Murray's playing some nice stuff at the mo. He's really going for his backhand at times too.

Well the best players are in the semis. I hope Roger can get through; if he plays his best I think he can take out Djokovic but he cannot afford mental lapses or any loose play. I predict Roger in 4 sets and Nadal in 4 over Murray. Roger to win the final in 5; well that's what I'd like but my head says Nadal over Djokovic in the final in 5.

Well if she wins the French then she'll have the career slam winning all four.

A punter dubbed Dead Cert Man placed a £120,000 bet yesterday - saying he wants to win enough to buy a house.
He put the wad on Novak Djokovic at 1-3 to beat Roger Federer in the French Open tennis semi-finals tomorrow.

The Sun told on Monday how the tracksuited 33-year-old gambler has made £160,000 since March with a series of bets on odds-on favourites - mainly in tennis. He always uses the same William Hill shop in Central London, and started with a stake of £8,400.

His £120,000 wager yesterday - his biggest yet - will net him £40,000 if it comes good, taking his total profits to £200,000.

He has told staff at the shop he aims to go on winning until he has enough to buy a house.

William Hill spokesman Graham Sharpe said: "I can't recall another tennis bet of this size."

I don't know how anybody can watch Sharapova with the sound on. It sounds worse than a dog set on fire.

At 4-1 with two breaks I reckon it's shaping up to be a quick match.

Just switched on. Bloody paperwork. Barry Glendenning's MBM mentioned something about windy conditions earlier, is that why they're breaking like maniacs?

And what the hell has happened to WR8? He hasn't posted in this thread since before Nadal knocked out Söderling, but he's been logged on and posted elsewhere. I'm worried. Muppetitis?

Unforced errors: Murray 40, Nadal 31.

Break pt. conversions: Murray 3/18, Nadal 6/13.

This is where Nadal breaks the fragile minds of this opponents, they get so many breaks points and can't do shit about them, makes you feel sick. You start to think about the last point instead of the point you are currently playing

To answer my own question, it's bad. Nole looks like he hasn't played in 6 days. Fed is breaking him already.
