SL = Suzanne Lenglen Court. The 2nd best one. But unfortunately Gasquet's match is in it's 4th set there as well so can't even shift it there. Del Po vs Djoko on Court Number 1 would be a travesty!

The match can be shifted tomorrow but that'll cause a backlog and it's getting dark over there so god knows if it starts today.

However with Stan going back to Shit Mode the match could end early :lol:

It'll most probably go to five sets at this rate and considering how neither man seems to be relying on each other to lose the match, it's going to be a very long night.

Over on SL, Djoko breaks Del Po early on and leads 3-1. I'll be amazed if he doesn't win the entire tournament.
 
Yup it's too easy because he's just too good right now. He wins the set 6-3.

I think I'll be supporting Fed for the first time, vs Djokovic. If Nadal gets to the final then it'll be far easier to face Fed rather than Djoko!
 
Del Potro is making unforced errors after unforced errors handing the first set on a platter for Djokovic. Early second set, Del Potro seems to have converted some of those errors into forehand winners now. I would be surprised if this doesn't go to four*.

Bloody hell when fit and on form Del Potro is a beast! That forehand of his is bloody scary if you're an opponent! And he did really really well and showed some balls to save those break back points various times. Most others would have crumbled.

I still don't think he'll win so Djoko in 4 for me.
 
Why is Delpo and Djokovic on SL? There isn't a match in the 3rd round bigger than that. Seems Davy is in pretty bad shape, can't believe this Veic guy has beaten him, the guy has no forehand.. :wenger:

Murray seems to be injured. Broken back after the MTO. Pity he would've gotten to the Semis at least given the other quarter and Almagro and Melzer eliminated...


Nadal plays way too short and that Veic guy is an absolute clown 33% win on first serve.

Murray can't even move and yet breaks and serves out the set. How do you play so badly against an injured player?

And I agree with Enigma, Nadal is playing very short. In fact it's something he's done all of the clay court season this year and I just can't understand why. His shots are just waiting to be hammered and Djoko (if they meet) will take full advantage of that.

And yes the Del Po Djoko match is on SL because the idiotic organizers decided to schedule it as the last match on PC and due to the Tsonga bottle job that got too late and it was shifted. Poor decisions.

Veic is bad but Berrer is taking being bad to a new level all together. If Murray could move the match would probably be a 6-0 6-0 right now
 
Murray wins 6-2 6-3 6-2.Amazing effort from him but Seriously this is the most astonishingly stupid performance from the German. He was playing drop shots all the time before Murray got injured but after the injury he did it just once :confused:

You're playing against a player who can't move and you don't make him run? A Veic vs Berrer match would be stunning. Two amazingly incompetent players.

Anyway Del Po Djoko should be next on SL I think.
 
Oh Dear Del Potro. Had 2 break points and then 2 weak 2nd serves to attack and he just played it too defensively and Djoko holds. That could be the turning point of the match.

Del Po now gets broken at the start of the 4th. This will be over very soon. Those glorious chances to break in the previous set have killed off Del Po's challenge.
 
Djokovic is just too dam good :mad:

I feel dirty but I'll be supporting Fed whole heartedly in his semi vs Novak.

Nadal can beat Fed but has no chance vs Djoko.
 
The scariest thing about Djokovic is that he can win from anywhere on the court and at any time - even though Potro broke, he just got broke back every time.

Tactically Djokovic nailed this, he kept forcing errors from Potro's backhand. Highly impressive.
 
He neutralized Del Po's big serve and that was the most important thing. JMDP just crumbled after he wasted those break points at 2-2 in the Third. I thought it would be the turning point and so it turned out to be.

Gasquet might actually cause him more problems than JMDP though.
 
Biggest thing was the way he stopped the forehand IMO. Just look at how many shots he made Del Pot play on his backhand. Even if Del Pot got those points, Djokovic was able to just break back immediately.
 
True true. He played a good smart game. JMDP is not yet back to his best but when he is, he's going to cause Nadal/Djokovic huge problems.

And Djokovic is going to win RG. Unless Fed can somehow stop him.

If Federer is somewhere near 80-90% it's on his racket.

However if Federer beats Djokovic, can't see him beating Nadal, he'll choke it away as per usual...

I like Djokovic but he's winning far too much and he'll hammer Nadal so yeah Go Roger!

Fed, even at 80-90% will find it incredibly hard against Djoko though. That guys defense is just phenomenal and he'll attack Fed's weaker backhand..

Djokovic has discovered how to beat Federer now and I think barring a mental slip up he will continue to beat him - at least on hard courts and clay court. We've yet to see how this new Nole can handle the grass courts.
 
Stan is just Fed's bitch. He embarrasses himself against him but I'm happy Fed came through. He's the only one who can take our Djoko before the final!
 
Gasquet is the king of unforced errors. Terribly sloppy and completely rushing into his defeat in the third set. Nole just doing what's necessary, especially on his own serves, that's every time a guaranteed game. Gasquet does produce a monster backhand sometimes.
 
Djokovic is playing a lot of percentage tennis with his opponents. I remember this is how Murray was winning a lot of his games during his good period, but the difference with Djokovic is when he is put under pressure he can retaliate back with a winner, from anywhere.

Gasquet just bottled the last set to be fair, and the french crowd were complete cnuts btw.
