They're going for Jorginho instead I think. Wonder who will turn out to be better? So why didn't City go for this guy?
Who, Marcus and Martinus? Search for them at Spotify and they’ll annoy you even more.
Don’t know if it’s their account though.
from what I've seen Jorginho is probably better with his defensive positioning and maybe a bit of a better passer, Freds a bit more physical and probably the better tackler and at taking it past players. They're going for Jorginho instead I think. Wonder who will turn out to be better?

So probably both players suit their perspective managers style quite well.
One of them likes Chelsea though, can’t remember which one.Is it really them? FFS!
Atleast they like the right football team, but they sure are annoying.
Fred sounds kinda similar to Pogba though. I thought we might have gone for someone to complement Pogba (like Jorginho for example!)from what I've seen Jorginho is probably better with his defensive positioning and maybe a bit of a better passer, Freds a bit more physical and probably the better tackler and at taking it past players.

He's a mercenary.. oh and City are always ethical when it comes to transfer fees.So why didn't City go for this guy?
I think this is far from over guys, others saying the fee isn't even agreed yet.

Their chairman has confirmed we’ve agreed a fee. Sounds like it’s the buyout.

So €60M, or the £53M that people were laughing at that tabloid for quoting?
I'm not gonna pretend to be an expert on him, but from what ive seen in a very broad way I can see the comparison, but Fred for my money is a bit less flakey a bit more gritty, but also a bit less talented. I wouldn't feel worried about him playing in a midfield 2, which is obviously an issue for Pogba.Fred sounds kinda similar to Pogba though. We will sell Fred to a good and strong club, do not doubt it,
He will cost the potential buyer more than Fernandinho and be even more expensive than Alex Teixeira.
Quotes?

So why didn't City go for this guy?
Lord Pepus Christ decided they needed a 20th CB and got Laporte
Pep or money? So why didn't City go for this guy?

So that points to us probably paying the €60m release clause... Pretty high price for someone who isn't among the best (I say this having watched very little of him )They did go for him, they put in a 50m euro bid 4 months ago. It was rejected.
Shakhtar were still in the CL at that point and less willing to sell.So that points to us probably paying the €60m release clause... Pretty high price for someone who isn't among the best (I say this having watched very little of him )
We are so slow in the market, Woodward is out of his depth. Bring Mike Ashley in."Medical soon"
How soon is soon, today, tomorrow? Next week? Christmas?
I hate this, everyone is getting players except us. Bite
Pinpoint passing, high creativity level, plenty of assists and chances created, overall attacking threat, spreading play, breaking down defences?Yep, looks like it. City had €50m rejected in January so it appears to be the going rate for him.
As I said a couple of days ago, he’s got all the attributes we need in midfield, whether he can step up to the quality needed for us to compete for the title is another story.

Isn't it a bit rich to mock him for that right when we're supposedly doing our best to sign our third CB in two years? With five CBs in the squad already.Lord Pepus Christ decided they needed a 20th CB and got Laporte

Pep has spent £250m on defenders in 2 years.
United have spent £350m total on all their signings in 2 years.
...you know, just some food for thought...
I don't know if you have seen him playUhm, yes.
And if anything, him playing box-to-box will allow Pogba to have the freedom to do such things as well.
No. Why? Because City keeps buying CBs like very year then not benching or even offloading the previous purchase. Natasic, Savic (played for Atletico now), Mangala, now John Stones looks like bench material despite 2 of them were on the expensive end of the price tag.Isn't it a bit rich to mock him for that right when we're supposedly doing our best to sign our third CB in two years? Zidane in the CL really is an anomaly. From all the accounts I've seen he's praised for who he is, and his influence as Zidane, rather than what he does. He's even said so himself. He lets his players and his coaches do whatever they want and he "empathizes" with them. It's incredible really that they made the final this year.If he wins Saturday, how many Champions Leagues in a row would that be? And how many seasons as manager would that mean he HASNT won it?
Most managers could hand pick 11 players and still not win consecutive Champions Leagues
