Made his haters (like myself) look like absolut bellends. Love it.
 
Total night and day between this week and last week. Good on ETH for giving him the chance to redeem himself. Also seemed as though Fred was playing a more attacking role today. Dare I say, he even looked Brazilian. My MOTM today...
 
Can he replicate that performance? If he can do this consistently, he will be pushing for a first team spot. Having him in form would be really positive for the group.
 
Still shite without a doubt. Some clearly want to just like him when he has 2 stinkers and 1 good performance. 2 steps backwards one step forwards but for some it's enough
 
Fred of last season back today. Pressing machine.
 
His goal and sort-of-assist are the most Fred ones ever but well deserved either way. He was a beast tonight.

FFS. Petty agendas held on to so strongly that people can't even give grudging praise for an excellent performance.

My man :drool: There were some moaning & murmuring when people found out he was in the starting XI but he was MoTM IMO. Don't know why but I really felt he'd produce a MoTM performance when I saw the moaning. He should always be in the starting XI in a 4-3-3 IMO.
 
Good performance, even if I still have a lot of doubts.

When he plays consistently, he's a 7 out of 10. When coming off the bench, he's a 4 to 7 out of 10.
This is probably the main reason we shouldn't keep him. He won't be good enough for us as a starter, and can't be relied upon as a sub. What we need is a bench player that comes in and mainly drops 6 to 7s. I think whichever team gets him is still getting a good player, so long as he plays week in week out.

Can't deny he was effective today but his limitations were still on show. Even when he's playing well, his inconsistency both on and off the ball is obvious. He managed to get a lot more right than wrong today, but the eye test still says he is, at best, an average player.
 
When he's at it he's a brilliant player. I've always found his opening performances to be poor as he feels his way into the team but is usually consistent once he does.
 
His energy at best makes us basically play with 12 men. He often evens it out with his erratic ability on the ball, but on a great day he is capable of this.
 
Must admit I didn’t see this coming. MOTM! Will be interesting to see if ETH will bench Eriksen now.
 
I reckon that was his best ever game for us. That's the Fred I thought we'd see under Ten Hag.
 
Management wasn't completely insane when they allowed an aging Herrera to go because of him, he's an upgrade when he's (finally) on form
 
Unbelievable display, was absolutely everywhere!

Normally when Fred has an outstanding game, there will still be at least one or two who claim he was average. If anyone claims that tonight they're simply ridiculous and should probably give up watching football.
 
No he had a good performance and thank feck he stepped up but he really had to. Just saying you are all easily bought if you think he's enough. Standards

I think so. Won every duel. Was everywhere. Goal was a bit lucky in a way, but at the same time, many good shots and eventually there will be a goal.
 
Surprise surprise he's much better when he doesn't have Cristiano ahead of him. We dont control games without him but he's a player who needs quick movement around him or he can be very erratic. Almost like he needs to play without thinking.
