Fallen Muppet. Lest we never forget
I started it yesterday got through a year. Going to do at least 5/10 seasons.Did you end up doing this? Genuinely interested in the results.

I don't see any issues. They are just trying to imitate Arteta who'd rather kill Saka playing him through injury everytime than rotate him.
I think the positional football change deserves a lot of praise. I'm just tinkering around for fun, but I'm currently playing a 4231 with 2 Segundo Volante in the double pivot and it actually works kind of well. Looks to me like this might have opened up a large variety of funky tactical ideas or at least it made the implementation of them much clearer.
Don't do it. He will never reach it. He has 5 professionalism and 20 controversy. All the remaining hidden attributes are fine though. SI actually tried to be as fair as they can be without getting into legal trouble.Early access beta works really well for me. I'm playing Brighton and my scouts keep recommending me Greenwood who is a steal at ca. 25 million pounds and such potential
Same save. Though Van Persie coming in 2025 and I'll probably loan him out.4.5+0.5 star potential for him and an A+ rating so guessing he's got a pretty high PA in my save.Don't do it. Not sure which game mode are you playing but I'm playing the real world mode with United and he's auto set to go out on loan again to Getafe for a 2nd year(I didn't even accept the bid, it was automatically accepted) and he's leaving on a free at the end of the season.
And I've also released Martial on a free so yea welcome to van Persie's son for being a backup striker.
That's the point of beta, to iron out these issues.
Enjoyed my first season with Chelsea. I think the ME has been great so far.
Not sure whether I want to continue with them for a second year though or try something different.
Pretty ridiculous. I did beat them at Anfield though. What were Liverpool like in your save? Every save I've seen so far (including mine) they're City-like.
I haven’t really found a way to properly make the IFB and IWB combo work yet. Probably just don’t have the right players to make it work.
I might have a proper go after giving it a full pre-season as when I tried to implement it I chopped and changed a little.
Been playing this in a gegenpress and is working well. Beto is performing better than DCL and I will probably sell the latter in Jan as he wants to leave.
25 points after 12 games. Liverpool are top with 33 points after 13 games.
Unrealistic
Inverted full backAre there any new roles this year?
Was that not on last years?Inverted full back
Was that not on last years?
I was trying to do the IWB and IFB combo with a half back I think.I only play with one as inverted and the other as normal or both as wing backs.
No you’re thinking of the inverted wing back. The IFB is a fullback that acts as a third CB out of possession. The inverted wingback tucks into midfield moreWas that not on last years?
The little I played with united I found it quite difficult to shift Sancho.Spent 50€ on it last night. Straight into Utd mode. Sold Varane to Saudi for 52 and that gave me a kitty to grab Diomande, Marcos Leonardo, Andre and Barco with instalments. I’m comfortably in third playing a 4-2-3-1 with automatic fullbacks. Hopefully I can sell Casemiro to Saudi next summer because Im finding it really hard to get rid of players at all so that’s realistic I guess? It’s all loan to buy for McT Martial and Maguire with really low future fees. I’d say I win the league in 3 seasons and CL in 3-5. Lacey looks unreal!
Takes time to adapt but it's a staple for me. Though I set the wide players as normal wingers (ML and MR) to keep the width still.I haven’t really found a way to properly make the IFB and IWB combo work yet. Probably just don’t have the right players to make it work.

Arghh, thought Id seen an inverted something on there. No you’re thinking of the inverted wing back. The IFB is a fullback that acts as a third CB out of possession. The inverted wingback tucks into midfield more
Ye I think you’re right. I knew there was something inverted.think that was an inverted wingback.
Just totally unrealistic in every way. I mean Tottenham, second? Come on...
Oh, how I wish this happened in real life too.
Sold low on Varane. I got like 80m after installments in January. Summer 2024 I got an offer of 80m for Casemiro from a couple of Saudi clubs but I kept him as he's still a quality DM and there weren't many other good options to buy. Almost caved to buy Kephrem Thuram but decided against it (he ended up going to Bayern so maybe I missed out).Spent 50€ on it last night. Straight into Utd mode. I sort of stumbled into a decent working tactic.Takes time to adapt but it's a staple for me. Though I set the wide players as normal wingers (ML and MR) to keep the width still.

How I have it so far after finishing the 2024 summer transfer window. Had to make some budget purchases after spending big on Nico Williams, but he's been class in the few games I've used him so it's worth it (and given that Martinez and Diomande are young and excellent, no need to spend big there). Garnacho was my starter the previous year and did really well, won the FA Cup 5-1 vs Liverpool, made it to the CL semi final but lost away vs City ultimately after winning the first leg, and finished 3rd in the league.
No Enzo? Did you pick the save where you start from scratch but then still sign Caicedo and Jackson then, given you have mount and Kepa there?I sort of stumbled into a decent working tactic.
I played a bog standard 4-3-3 for the first half of my season with mixed results then for some reason I moved my LW to a LM (S) and my attacking CM to a CAM (SS) which ended up being well suited to my players as Cucurella was decent as a LM as was Sterling and Mudryk. The shadow striker role was also quite good at getting the best from Alvarez or Nkunku too.
my first XI was probably this
———————Kepa——————-
James—Tomori—Ake—Mendes
—————————-Caicedo—————
————Mount——————Cucurella
Jackson—————Alvarez—————
