It's still better than to manage a reserves teamJust drawn 5 - 5 away to the league winners and now two of my players have been called up for 2 years national service
What the highest number of goals a player has scored for you guys in one season? My regen striker just scored 66 goals in 38 appearances. He was off the charts. He was scored so many hat-tricks I lost count. He also scored another 20 goals for England during the same period. The last three seasons he has scored 45, 47 and 52 goals for me. He just turned 24 and he has won the Ballor D'or the past three years. He has almost broken the Bobby Charlton record for United too. Prolly another season.

Probably this guy, Argentine wonder striker Miguel González, when I was managing Spartak Moscow in FM 15. I'd actually brought him with me to Spartak from my first club, Almere City. What the highest number of goals a player has scored for you guys in one season? Well yeah one striker but my second striker is also playing so well. He scored like 35 goals for me. He leads my "Second XI". So this year I switched to a 4-4-2 diamond since I was winning everything so easily. The goals are still flowing. Also I do concede a bit more.Out of interest do you play one up front? Guessing it must be the case really. I currently have three strikers in tbe top10 charts due to playing 2 each game so the spread of goals is shared more i assume.
fecking hell, the Diego Costa of managers....!Alright then..
My time at Stade de Reims was kind of disappointing, however I'm glad to tell you all that I failed to win Ligue 1.
I really enjoyed the club though, and plenty of fun players joined me as the leagues overachiever. The board were pieces of shits though, and they were happy about the leadership but more or less hated me for bringing in Wayne Rooney. I cant blame them really, as I sold him off after he failed to score in his first 10 games. He was my highest earner as well, with a contract of £30k. Still.. I ended up 3rd in Ligue 1, which technically makes me the manager of a big team. I qualified for the Champions League, and the club loved me. They however failed to recognise it when I wanted to increase my transfer budget, and I finally got the chance to avenge my time at Sporting when the Porto-job became available.
The Portugese feckers failed to pay my compensation though, which is weird as I'm on the lowest fecking wages you'll ever see. I asked the board to release me, then I told them how mad I was in the press afterwards. They still loved me, and keps saying they understood why I was applying for the 'bigger' jobs. Well, guess what? I fecking resigned. Cant be working with psychoes like that.
Half a year has gone by now, and I'm still without a job. Lyon approached me for an interview, as well as a few other clubs. Noone wanted me. I might be a bit arrogant and aggressive in the interviews though, but might as well show them what they will have to deal with if they give me a job.
I think Hernandez got around 65 for me one season in FM13. He was unbelievable in it, think he got 40+ for me every season til he was 34/35What the highest number of goals a player has scored for you guys in one season? I bought him in every save I could in FM14, even once for two different teams in the same save. Murdered teams.I think Hernandez got around 65 for me one season in FM13. He was unbelievable in it, think he got 40+ for me every season til he was 34/35
EDIT: Actually still have this image from one of his seasons
You should be okay scouting and finding all the high potential wonderkids and spending all of your budget buying them all, haha. Low wages etc. Clubs like Southampton always get loads. Now that patch 16.3 is out I decided to start my youth project with Manchester United.
The rules:
A few additional limits that I set for me is that at the start I can have one senior player(21+) for every position and only youngsters as backup. This way I can make sure that the young ones will get enough playing time.
- I'm only allowed to buy players that can become homegrown (18 or younger).
- I can't extend any senior players, who aren't homegrown, contract (expectation: Martial, just too good to let go).
I'm not 100% settled on the formation that I want to play but I'll probably go with one of my favorites so either the 4-2-3-1 or the 4-3-3. Due to nostalgia reasons and the fact that 4-4-2 actually works well in this game I might decide to go with this formation though.
First things to do:
This should be fun.
- Decide on a formation and the senior players to fill the first team positions.
- Have a look at the reserve and youth team to look who can already be a backup players.
- For the positions that I have promising backup already I plan to scout for the best U18 players out there and try to bring them in.

Only £40m in the red so far before any of my new guys can get any raises... I might leave the sinking ship at the end of the season50% wage hike and sell on fee
You have destroyed the club, you monster.Only £40m in the red so far before any of my new guys can get any raises... I might leave the sinking ship at the end of the season
Dont put that evil on me! The club was destroyed before I arrived, I'm simply not helping the situation. You have destroyed the club, you monster.
epicTrying something a bit different. Started unemployed and I'm using FMRTE to 'oversee' United, sort of like a Chairman mode. I'm going to give the club finances for the management to obtain their own targets, though in Perez-like fashion, I'm going to provide the management with (realistic) players, if I see fit.
Obviously the first thing I did was bin van Gaal (I actually moved him upstairs into the DoF role) and appointed Jose Mourinho. Giggs is now a coach, and Mourinho's usual assistant, Rui Faria, is the #2. Hoek and Stuivenberg remain, as do the rest of the staff. Mourinho and/or LvG can chop and change their team if they wish.
I don't know if there is a way to sack and completely remove the Glazers from existence, so I'm just pretending they don't exist. In this universe, the club is owned by O.T. Da Silva.
First order of playing personnel business: Rooney and Fellaini are gone. I'll have no scousers at the club. Rooney went to Chelsea for £15m, and Fellaini to PSG for £11m. I also reversed the Javier Hernandez to Leverkusen transfer. We'll pretend that didn't happen, but I'll probably move him on next summer.
Incoming: Laporte for £29m and Xhaka for £14m. I'll leave it at that for now, and overrule any deal Mourinho wants, to see what he can do with this squad in the first season.
I'll show Woody how easy this gig is.
