Korea's quite a fun league, and the national service keeps you on your toes.

Personally prefer China of the Asian League, Koran teams dick all over the ACL so taking a Chinese team to glory is fun.

Started a save with Leeds (:nervous:) and got promoted in my first season via the play-offs.

Was taken over just before the January transfer window and given £26m to spend. I'm currently 18th and have a month to save my job. :(

God, I hate being treated like such a bitch and having to accept it. I promised my best player he would return to the first team after his injury, as soon as he is back I have played him pretty much every game and if not then certainly off the bench to maintain his fitness yet the little cnut has the cheek to come into my office demanding why I haven't kept my promise? The last game was a piss easy win and I was saving him for the champions league. I knew i had no option but to grovel and admit i "dropped the ball".

Despite him being far and away my most highest paid player, by some distance aswell, he still had the balls to say to me "alright, little bitch, but I warn you.. if you don't play me i WILL be handing in a transfer request". Little cnut.

What the highest number of goals a player has scored for you guys in one season? My regen striker just scored 66 goals in 38 appearances. He was off the charts. He was scored so many hat-tricks I lost count. He also scored another 20 goals for England during the same period. The last three seasons he has scored 45, 47 and 52 goals for me. He just turned 24 and he has won the Ballor D'or the past three years. He has almost broken the Bobby Charlton record for United too. Prolly another season.

On 2016, Giroud with 36 for my first Arsenal season. Currently on to my second one with Morata to back him up,

That happened to me as well in Korea. To my only good GK. Every male in South Korea has mandatory 21-to-24-month service to be served at any time between 18 and 35.

Probably this guy, Argentine wonder striker Miguel González, when I was managing Spartak Moscow in FM 15. I'd actually brought him with me to Spartak from my first club, Almere City.

43 in 26 league games was mad. Hardly got a sniff with Argentina either, but what can you do when you're fighting Messi, Icardi, Higuain and Aguero for a spot in a squad.

Out of interest do you play one up front? Guessing it must be the case really. I currently have three strikers in tbe top10 charts due to playing 2 each game so the spread of goals is shared more i assume.

Well yeah one striker but my second striker is also playing so well. He scored like 35 goals for me. He leads my "Second XI". So this year I switched to a 4-4-2 diamond since I was winning everything so easily. The goals are still flowing. Also I do concede a bit more.

Alright then..

My time at Stade de Reims was kind of disappointing, however I'm glad to tell you all that I failed to win Ligue 1.
I really enjoyed the club though, and plenty of fun players joined me as the leagues overachiever. The board were pieces of shits though, and they were happy about the leadership but more or less hated me for bringing in Wayne Rooney. I cant blame them really, as I sold him off after he failed to score in his first 10 games. He was my highest earner as well, with a contract of £30k. Still.. I ended up 3rd in Ligue 1, which technically makes me the manager of a big team. I qualified for the Champions League, and the club loved me. They however failed to recognise it when I wanted to increase my transfer budget, and I finally got the chance to avenge my time at Sporting when the Porto-job became available.

The Portugese feckers failed to pay my compensation though, which is weird as I'm on the lowest fecking wages you'll ever see. I asked the board to release me, then I told them how mad I was in the press afterwards. They still loved me, and keps saying they understood why I was applying for the 'bigger' jobs. Well, guess what? I fecking resigned. Cant be working with psychoes like that.

Half a year has gone by now, and I'm still without a job. Lyon approached me for an interview, as well as a few other clubs. Noone wanted me. I might be a bit arrogant and aggressive in the interviews though, but might as well show them what they will have to deal with if they give me a job.

 fecking hell, the Diego Costa of managers....!

Managed to stay up (and keep my job!) after a decent-ish end to the season. Finished 17th but 7 points ahead of Palace in 18th. I'm getting offers accepted for the majority of players I make offers for but none of them are interested in discussing a contract. Also, can't even give my players away. Is there anything to improve that?

I think Hernandez got around 65 for me one season in FM13. He was unbelievable in it, think he got 40+ for me every season til he was 34/35

EDIT: Actually still have this image from one of his seasons

Managed to sign Tó Madeira for Rushden in League 2 on CM 01/02 (well it wasn't League 2 then but same thing). He scored 88 goals for me in his first season, which still to this day is my record. If he would have continued his goal tally of the first half of the season he would've scored over a 100. :(

I bought him in every save I could in FM14, even once for two different teams in the same save. Murdered teams.

Great start to the new season. Currently top of the league afteer 5 games (4 wins and 1 draw) albeit against none of better teams in the prem. Needed some home-grown players so signed Iorfa, Akpom and Afobe who are all doing very well. Also managed to sign Kimmich and Keita Balde who were transfer listed who have both been excellent but my best player has got to be Breel Embolo. Can't recommend him enough.

Now that patch 16.3 is out I decided to start my youth project with Manchester United.

The rules:
  • I'm only allowed to buy players that can become homegrown (18 or younger).
  • I can't extend any senior players, who aren't homegrown, contract (expectation: Martial, just too good to let go).
A few additional limits that I set for me is that at the start I can have one senior player(21+) for every position and only youngsters as backup. This way I can make sure that the young ones will get enough playing time.

I'm not 100% settled on the formation that I want to play but I'll probably go with one of my favorites so either the 4-2-3-1 or the 4-3-3. Due to nostalgia reasons and the fact that 4-4-2 actually works well in this game I might decide to go with this formation though.

First things to do:
  • Decide on a formation and the senior players to fill the first team positions.
  • Have a look at the reserve and youth team to look who can already be a backup players.
  • For the positions that I have promising backup already I plan to scout for the best U18 players out there and try to bring them in.
This should be fun. :D

You should be okay scouting and finding all the high potential wonderkids and spending all of your budget buying them all, haha. Low wages etc. Clubs like Southampton always get loads.

Does Steam automatically update my saves to the new 16.3 patch or will I need to do it myself?

I do a save game like this every year. It's always a lot of fun to bring in youngsters and watch them make it in the team building a squad that has a long history together and most of them have a high affinity for the club as well at some point.

Another decision I made is to let Martial go as well, I need to be strict with my rules or I'll lose interest in the save sooner or later, made this mistake once. I wonder where he will end up, probably Real. :(

Just to continue this story:

As you all know, I'm not the one to hold a grudge. So obviously I would never accept a job again in Ligue 1 after leaving the scumbag cheapskates at Reims, right? On the one hand, the gave me my first chance in the big leagues, they provided me with funds and backing as well as my two coaching badges. But on the other hand, they gave me a measly transfer and wage-budget in my second season.. Yeah, those feckers were going to pay for what torture they put me through, especially as they refused to let me go to Porto.

I got the job as the manager of Bordeaux, who failed to win any of their first 11 games in Ligue 1. How better to turn to, than to the Sam Allardyce of Ligue 1? That's right, I'm the saviour. Mostly because I needed to knock those feckers at Reims down a peg. Not that they really needed it though, as they were almost down in the relagation zone with Bordeaux as I sat myself down in the cushy office chair. My first action was obviously to send a mail containing tons of spyware and porn to my former director, though I'm yet to hear anything from them since...

Yet, I've managed Bordeaux for about 25 games now and we're currently 5th in the table. I did lose to Reims in my 2nd game in charge though, and I'm still fecking fuming. The beauty of this league is that there is literally 3 points between the 4th and 15th placed team, so it's all about going on a run to stay up the table.

As nearly every club I've managed so far, "handling finances" has been a huge part of the job (or so they tell me...), but rest assure that a mere suggestion of keeping the books balanced wont stop me signing up every free transfer fecker out there. The club was filled with superstars when I arrived though, with the likes of Simaõ (32 years old), Santi Cazorla (36), Samir Nasri (33), Olivier Giroud (34) and Sofian Feghouli (31). So obviously I had to add my own players as well, and for some reason I managed to bring in Patrick Roberts and Mario Götze on a free. Well, I say "some reason", but I know how. I smashed the wage structur at the club to pieces, handing out a yearly wage increase at 50% as well as a sell-on fee at 50% in addition to totally ruining my wage budget.

To be fair though, the idiot who was sacked before I was put in charge was the genious of handing a 80k++ a week to both Cazorla, Giroud and Nasri. Rest assure that the Arsenal rejects are already on their merry way out of the team as soon as the season ends.

Boris Derp is now officially the proud owner of a National A Licence! Rumours are abound that he's paid one of the other coaches at the club to do all the paperwork for him, as you know, he's busy actually coaching the team and doesn't have time for all the stuff which makes his coaching better. It's no surprise then that he sailed through the whole qualification process.

Due to the success of having his scribe, he put a case forward to the board to have them put up the funds for his Continental C Licence - which they granted (presumably because it means he'll be out of the club some days on courses). Derp is staying at Santos FC for a little while longer!

Struggling to get myself interested in a new save at the moment, who are you guys currently playing with and enjoying?

Started with Celtic today, having a lot of fun, shook the squad up and picked up a bunch of wonderkids.

Can't wait for a few years down the line until I have some class Scottish regens.

Really enjoying my Watford save, 3rd season with them promoting them from the championship to now top of the table in January. No one wants to sign for me still though and the skanky chairman refuses to expand the stadium despite me threatning to leave every time they offer a new contract. cnuts need to see the vision!

Trying something a bit different. Started unemployed and I'm using FMRTE to 'oversee' United, sort of like a Chairman mode. I'm going to give the club finances for the management to obtain their own targets, though in Perez-like fashion, I'm going to provide the management with (realistic) players, if I see fit.

Obviously the first thing I did was bin van Gaal (I actually moved him upstairs into the DoF role) and appointed Jose Mourinho. Giggs is now a coach, and Mourinho's usual assistant, Rui Faria, is the #2. Hoek and Stuivenberg remain, as do the rest of the staff. Mourinho and/or LvG can chop and change their team if they wish.

I don't know if there is a way to sack and completely remove the Glazers from existence, so I'm just pretending they don't exist. In this universe, the club is owned by O.T. Da Silva.

First order of playing personnel business: Rooney and Fellaini are gone. I'll have no scousers at the club. Rooney went to Chelsea for £15m, and Fellaini to PSG for £11m. I also reversed the Javier Hernandez to Leverkusen transfer. We'll pretend that didn't happen, but I'll probably move him on next summer.

Incoming: Laporte for £29m and Xhaka for £14m. I'll leave it at that for now, and overrule any deal Mourinho wants, to see what he can do with this squad in the first season.

I'll show Woody how easy this gig is.

First year simulated. I didn't expect Jose to have his shit together in the first season (Liverpool lol):

Everyone feckin' loves Mourinho:

mourinho_zpsy5qa0o2d.jpg

Just like IRL, Jose likes a small squad, and this was his go-to starting 11. Ironically, Mourinho just loves Juan Mata. The only real rotation appeared to be Blind for Darmian (at RB!), Schweinsteiger for Januzaj (on the wing!) and Hernandez for Martial. Rojo and Blind came in for Laporte a few times too. He got a few niggly injuries.

bestxi_zpsoqxhb9hp.jpg

My acquisitions for Jose, Xhaka and Laporte, were the 2nd highest assisters and the highest average rated players in the squad respectively. 10 out of 10 job by the beloved chairman, O.T. Da Silva.

Rooney's Chelsea career bombed. 3 goals in 25 games in all competitions. Loic Remy was ahead of him in the pecking order. Fellaini played 7 games in all comps for PSG. No goals.
