Strange, I was wondering if your rep was too low, but at that it should be ahead of them, still rep isn't dynamic enough.
In the first seasons with Crew, I was promoted, and players were rejecting more money, and bigger roles at my team to play for teams a league below me. Notably when I was in the Championship, players fecking off to Portsmouth in League 1.
How are your finances? Perhaps they want to go to the Saints for a payday?

Would like a bit more in the transfer kitty, only getting around £15m a season at the moment.
With 130m profit, next season you should hopefully see a nice jump. Might also be the case that you'll get so much in initial budget, and then they'll give you a bump once their income kicks in.
Yeah, not doing too badly. Just need a bit more depth and don't want to rely on loans all the time, improved my youth intake so that should hopefully yield some results soon as the 3 intakes so far have been utter garbage.
Had all the facilities upgraded and stadium increased to 40k, slowly but surely building them into a power.
I thought so. Started my save before the update came out so I assume that is why it happened.
Yeah I think they value reputation too highly in that kind of situation. Pretty complex and hard to get right though, they've done a good job but there's always room for improvement

Two seasons at FC United now, won promotion both seasons! The only semi-pro team in the conference, but still won the league by a single point! And that was after I got promoted on penalties in the play-offs the season before The squad is fecking terrible though, L2 is going to hurt real bad with the players I got..

I was "umming" and "ahhing" whether to sign Ewandro or not for my Fiorentina team as I have a 2.5*CA/5*PA regen who I want to give a lot of time to and I cant seem to shift Guiseppe Rossi or Mario Gomez.
Anyway, Juve signed him before I made up my mind and he's now scored 23 goals in 14 league games, with 9 assists and 8 MOTM's firing Juve to the top of the league by 9 points already in December. Pah.

Perfect! Picked up two amazing players on free transfer, though I had to spend most of my budget on them. Turns out neither of them got a work permit, so now I have to pay shitloads of money in wages and no-appearance fees to have them on my team as noone wants to buy / loan them from me.....

Won my first game in League 2, away to Stevenage! Checked on my players, and everyone besides my keeper and my one CB, noone is rather higher than 1,5* My two strikers without a workpermit are both 5* ability.... Blah

No PL title yet for Stevie. Although he signed his contract as a player/coach..so he might only have one or two seasons left to get it.
Lost to PSG in the semi finals of the Champions League, and lost to Chelsea in the FA Cup final. All I had to show for my seasons was the League Cup. Decided I needed to do some squad overhauling..since I can't help myself.
Got rid of Lambert for 1.1m, Emre Can for 10.75m, Joe Allen for 17.75m, and Daniel Sturridge for 42m to Arsenal.
The board is only giving me about 35% of transfer earnings, so I didn't have quite as much to work with as I wanted. Managed to bring in Balanta to help shore up the defence, and a few young regen wonderkids for defense to cover in a few years. One of them with the fantastic name of Danny Van Wanrooy. Or DanVanMan as I've decided to call him from now on.
Thought there may be some growing pains since I have a young squad now...Sterling, Coutinho, Depay playing behind Balotelli or Munir. Starting to blood Tielemans into the squad a bit more this season. Started the season with 3 wins. 5-0, 6-0, and 6-1. Away to United next...so that will be the first real test.

Why'd you sell Can?
Wasn't playing him very often, and he was starting to get a bit restless. I have Tielemans, Romero, Henderson, Gerrard for 2 spots, plus Coutinho, Odegaard, Suso, Lallana who can play there as well if needed.
I hate having a huge squad because someones always bitching about something.

That's why I was wondering, absolute beast, if I was managing Liverpool, I'd be building around him, Coutinho and Sterling.
Just finished the 4th season with Derby, ended up 2nd with 86 points.
For coming 2nd in the PL I got less money then finishing 6th!

Club value of nearly £500m, just seems to be a dip before a large kitty hopefully. Got rumours of a takeover so we'll see what happens.

Takeover completed, they've pumped in £12m but as of yet no difference to the transfer budget.

Experiencing a bit of the same atm Rooney is in a pretty steep decline it seems. His contract still runs till 2019 and I think if he keeps declining like he has so far I'll not be extending his contract.
Wow, I've completely fecked this season in League 2 with FC United up. First I spent most of my wage-budget on two beasts who cant get a work permit, now I cancelled almost all my loans to loan better players, but it seems I can only make 8 loan-deals during the entire season. Left with a simply terrible, terrible squad without any funds to improve it..
Is it work me purchasing this? I've downloaded a squad update for 2014 and it's serving it's purpose, but naturally I'm curious if I should bother upgrading.

What the hell how do you play 1 season in about three hours? I must be the slowest FM player ever as one season takes me at least 24 hours of pure playing time. Do you just press on instant result?
When I posted the first of those posts, I was in febuary or so.. I wish I had instant results in full mode though
