Gaming Football Manager 2015

Well first season is halfway done, sitting in first place.

Lazar Markovic won the European Golden Boy award. So having him, Sterling, Coutinho, Depay, Tielemans, Odegaard, Lucas Romero, and Munir...I should be able to compete at the top for quite a while.

Still need to do a bit of work on the defence...got too excited with the attacking players :lol:
 
So haven't gotten much playing time recently but the teams is now in it's 4th season and we had a good pre-season as well as trashing Tottenham 5-2 in the community shield so I'm quite positive about this season. Roma came in with a 39M € bid for Herrera after they sold Strootman to PSG for 59M € and since Herrera was in his last year of his contract and Gaudino looks like he is ready to take over as my DLP I accepted the bid. got in a few more promising youngsters and my home-grown player count is currently at 10 home-grown players in the first team and by the end of the season it should be at 14.

Januzaj, Brandt and Zivkovic currently are my absolute star players while Di Maria can't seem to get a break from injuries somehow.
 
What random footballing encounters have people come across so far on FM15?

Playing in the Danish 2nd Division I've just come across the footballing enigma that is Teemu Tainio. :lol:
 
Couldn't turn down signing Lucas Ocampos on a free, so now I have Cuadrado, Ocampos and Depay all vying for two positions. I could turn Cuadrado into a wing-back, but he's 29 and I already have both Peruzzi and Santon.

Sold Savic for £27m and brought in Sokratis who is actually the better defender for £4.5m, Alex Telles as a left wing-back and Rulli in goal. I walked the league last year, and since I don't rely on a 32 year old Mario Gomez now Raul Jimenez has developed I suspect I will again this year.
 
I think I'm the only Real Madrid-manager who've been waiting for the FC United-job to become available :lol: Got tired of waiting, and offered to sign up the manager of FC United as my coach/ass.man for fun, and he would love to join :D So now I hired the man as my u19-coach, and I applied for the position he left behind at FC United :D
 
FC United couldnt afford the compesation fee, so had to quit Real.. Now hopefully they'll give me an interview :lol:

Edit: Got it! Now to get them succesfull enough to gain a professional status!

I decided to leave Middelfart because I was getting fed up of my reputation stopping me from signing players even from struggling teams in the division below. Luckily I managed to grab the Huddersfield job while they were just outside of the relegation zone. Well, 6 matches later this happened - I have no idea how or what took place here :lol:

I've won the last 6 Serie A titles with Napoli, and 4 of the last Champions League titles, and I think its time to leave for a new challenge. I was considering at the start of the last season to leave because United were offering me the job and it was a good challenge as they were finishing in 8th. They have since won the next 2 titles, so that challenge is not existent any more. My best options currently are Chelsea (finished 8th in the league, so clearly a rebuild is needed) or Barca (finished 3rd, but a fair way behind Madrid so again a rebuild is needed). Neither club has sacked their manager yet, but both are listed as very insecure so a declaration of interest in the job and they would be sacked and I'd be offered the job
 
Started a new United Save because i wanted to play Ödegaard.
Last game of the season i am tie with Chelsea, but they have better GD.
They play West Ham at Home and i am off to play at Swansea.

I tell the guys to give the fans a good last game and i am pretty pleased with second place first season since Chelsea been allmost unbeatable.
They win their game 2-1 while i smash Swansea 7-1 away from home, with four goals in the last ten minutes, and ends up winning the league on goal differnce.

My biggest win before that this season was 4-0 at Home to Burnley who finished at 20th place.

This game is crazy sometimes.

Nearly starting my third season with Burnley after finishing 4th in my second. Spent most of my money on improving the backroom staff. I am also going to make sure I have at least 1 u18 coach for each training category.

Drawn AC Milan in my Champions League qualifier. I am pretty confident though. I have the same team as last season and we managed to beat the likes of Arsenal and Man City pretty easily.

One of the main reasons for my success was Oussama Assaidi. He west phenomenal but he wanted to leave so I had to sell him to Napoli for £18m. Which is pretty good since I bought him for £2m. I bought Thauvin to replace him but the jury is still out on him.

Nice team, with Derby I was promoted as Champions out of the championship then a 6th placed finish in the Premier League. Currently half way through the 3rd season in 4th but with a dreadful run of games coming up.

A real annoying thing that I wish had a workaround is your budgets in the period between the transfer window opening and the season officially ending. You're not able to alter your budgets for those three weeks so miss out on tonnes of quality free transfers. My wage budget is £20k over the allotted amount thanks to the manager before me being an idiot, so I can't sign anyone good until the start of July. So many good players are going to clubs but I won't be given money until July. :(

They've really done well to make players some of the most obnoxious, annoying people you can come across haven't they? :lol:

3-3 draw away to Cardiff thanks to a player getting themselves sent off, said player then kicks off in a team meeting about my management and then says he wants to be transfer listed. Msot of the squad agreed with him too the pricks!

Just got offered the Liverpool job on my Sampdoria save but turned it down. Having some trouble backing up from my previous season. Juventus are doing the league comfortably but my team is just made for Europe I think. Eliminated City after a brilliant 0-4 away win in the first leg. Tielemans complained that my squad didn't match his ambition so I had to give him a ridiculous contract to stay.
Was getting a bit bored with the save so I have started transitioning a lot of my older guys out and signing the best 16/17 year olds I can find.

Just beat City in the CL quarter finals. Won the home leg 2-0. Away leg at the Etihad. Losing 0-1. Guess who came on and scored a free kick for me to tie the game and put us into the semi finals ;)

I've had the impression all season that Balotelli has been god awful for me, and Sturridge has been injured for what seems like forever..back for a few games..injured again.

Looked up their season stats...Balotelli with 22 appearances, 4 more as a sub..and 21 goals
Sturridge with 23 appearances, 8 more as a sub, 34 goals.

Didn't even realize we've scored 100 goals in the PL with 5 games still left.

No idea what i've been paying attention to while on this save :lol:

I came up against Cherno Samba playing in the Norwegian second division. I was actually a bit disappointed when he didn't score against me, so many great memories of him from CM01/02...

Spurs got relegated. David Moyes joined them half way in and did nothing.
 
Players get pissed off now for not being allowed to move clubs even though no bid has been made for them and that's all I say to them? That doesn't make much sense.

Start of the 4th season with Derby, finished 6th last season which was a little annoying as I was in CL contention with 5-6 games remaining.

In my save Berardi was bought by Real Madrid but it says the transfer will go through on the 1/01/1900? I assume this error means he will be stuck there forever? Or until his contract runs out? and Real probably wasted a lot of money on him :lol:

It's a well documented glitch, should of been patched though.

Going well with Derby, currently sitting in 2nd place in December.
 
Realism in this game is shot at times. Last season an this season had Jovic intermittently wanting to leave for Southampton, now Henriquez as well.

Positions

Derby - 2nd
Southampton - 17th

Great logic.
