Gaming Football Manager 2015

Just won League One. Was expected to come tenth, so I'm happy with that.

Did you also try to play for a bit and generally do whatever you wanted like Edgar Davids?

Aye, appointed myself captain. Scored twice but then done in my hammy.

Just signed two out of contract midfielders from Barcelona B. Not sure whether a third straight promotion is on the cards.

I was interviewed for the Inter job  Had dreams of an Assombalonga reunion but they gave it to Joachim Low. Currently breezing the Eredivisie again, Ajax sacked de Boer and hired Deschamps because they're 7th.

How have you been getting on in Europe?

In a group with PSG, Basel and Leverkusen. Managed to draw against PSG and beat Leverkusen and Basel so hopefully I can qualify from it.

Just drew 0-0 at home to West Brom... I had 43 shots, 21 on target, 68% possession, they had 1 shot all game, off target. Hit the woodwork 4 times as well. Never seen anything like it.

That's insane! I played A.C Milan and had a 1-1 draw. I had three disallowed goals while dominating shots/possession/shots on target. So frustrating.

Yeah, I had Rooney, RvP and Falcao on by the end of the game and still nothing (started a United save).

The next game I lost on penalties to Spurs in the capital one cup, had Jones sent off early on but then proceeded to have 12 clear cut chances, to their 2, and finish 3-3. Frustrating run of form really.

feck me this game seems shite compared to the earlier versions.
Shitloads of links in the menues that leads to the same fecking screen, not showing correct club-crest, not showing club name or initials during a game.
Not as good view of the information on tactical overview.
Unnecessary many drop-down & drop-in lists. It's insane that you have to open a fecking menue to change a players role or duty.
They have even managed to increase the amount of bloody menues you should have, during the a bloody match.

Who the feck really gives a shit about their "star" to show the players compability with the rest of the team, quality wise?
You as the manager should already have an idea of how good your player is compared to the rest and if not you could always check with your staff.
"Oh, we'll just decide for you that you can no longer go from squad to tactical overview screen. You now HAVE to use the main menue; now now, no need to throw a hissy fit. We're improving your experience here."

You want to change between squad/sub number 7 & 12?
That's cool, but you can't just click and get an easy number-change menue, you now either have to remove both and add in the order you want them to be, or drag to change with your mouse.

We heard you liked playing as a manager, well you should know that managers have to be inflicted by pests of media all the bloody time, so we'll shave off loads of your time to answer shit-stupid questions before and after games. Twice.
You can let your assistant take that job, sure, but why would they actually add more of the shite stuff to the game? The amount of interviews and that kind of interraction in FM14 was enough, they could have just improved that experience and it would have been golden.

SI still seem to use christmas - february as all early-buyers beta-testing period.
We actally pay to beta-test the fecking game for them, and just when the game is fixed with the traditional 3-4 big patches, then they start talking about the thing coming right up, all with fresh new stupidity and unnecessary changes again.
*rant rant rant rant*

That said, they have improved some stuff.
Scouting looks way better now, compared to earlier... And they have added a few new player roles.
Is there more?

Note:
Haven't slept in some time, bit aggitated by pain. But feck me, this doesn't seem right.
Am I the only one feeling like SI is ripping off it's costumers just because they are the only big people in this market?

You can download packs for the correct club crests/badges or whatever. That's what I did.

Got bored of Oxford... so resigned and went to Stoke in the Premier League. Decided to have some 'fun' and go on holiday indefinitely, then come back to it in the morning. I unlocked the 'no sacking' option earlier in the save, so I applied it.

Well Stoke are rich.... but they're in Conference. They haven't signed one player since I went on Holiday, and the squad is so so bad. But the finances are insane - they're considered rich, and the wage budget is still 800k. With a transfer budget of £45 million.

I'm considering jumping back into it, and taking Stoke back up with all that money. Get them to the Premier league and then quit the save for good.
I just find managing in the premier League less fun, especially once it's full of regens who all look ridiculously good and similar.

P.s. It's 2047 and Oxford spent 10 years in the Premier League off the back of my work (for which I got no real credit) and are now stable in the Championship.

Edit: Just spent ages signing players who'd have propelled us to back to back to back promotions... and then it crashes on me for the first time. Feck it, time for a new save.

Had both my 'keepers complain about not playing so I tried to manipulate the situation by constantly rotating and hoping they would just let it go but one of them is fed up so he is out the door. Also having trouble with free kicks because I just cannot score off them. Every single time it is "skimmed the crossbar" or hitting the post or something. It is so frustrating.

Is this any good then? Seems like everyone moaning from what I've seen but I'm still playing FM13 so it may be time for an upgrade.
I love it. Didn't get 14 either so it feels like a huge jump actually. They've removed the tactical sliders and stuff, but you can get the same effects through choosing payer roles and giving the right instructions. Really enjoyable so far.

Did the game fade to black and then the SI credits start to roll? Surely you've completed the game now.
Pretty much, yeah :D

Won the Eredivisie again at a canter. A lot of attributed to my main rivals PSV being appalling. Currently looking for another job now as I feel I'm done here and it's only a matter of time before my best talents like Vilhena, Boetius and Basacikoglu are snapped up by bigger clubs.

Feyenoord are not happy with me though.

Been interviewed by AC Milan and Athletic Bilbao but now City have offered me an interview. Doubt I'd get that though.

Just downloaded this after reading and keeping track of most of the managers in this thread. Couldn't resist in the end. Who are the players I should be buying at the beginning of the season?

Depends who you are.

I have the option of taking the AC Milan or Athletic job at the end of the season with Feyenoord. I think I might turn them both down and hold out for something a little bit better. Wenger and van Gaal are both retiring so I think depending on who gets those jobs I could replace that person, if that makes sense.

Hah, I was on the shortlist for the Arsenal job and they've offered me it. £38m budget, so nice after being so cheap with Feyenoord.

So yeah, this just happened :D

Going to do a spinoff career. Resigning from Barnet on one save to see who will hire me.
My adaptability is at 1, so it will almost certainly be in UK.

Mesut Ozil kicked up a fuss because I sold a youth team striker. Transfer windows closes and he no longer wants to leave and is happy I bought Stephane Ruffier as the youth team striker's replacement.

Ruffier is a goalkeeper.

Have you guys got any idea why my game keeps crashing? It's happened a number of times now, so annoying.

I'm not sure why it happens. It's only happened to me once thankfully. I am really conscious of it happening again though so I am constantly saving it.

Mine always seems to does it when I get into a decent save, annoying as feck.

Verifying the identity of your game cache or whatever it is usually sorts it though, only on my phone so I can't find the right link but google around on how to do it and try that - iirc you right click on fm in steam and go to properties then local options or something along the lines of that.
