@jakec

Got some quality players in there, should do well in League 2. Had Joel Pereira in my first season and he was great. Just finished so hoping I'll be able to get him for the second season too, tried to get Andreas Pereira but he wasn't interested.

Pissed the league as expected, ran away with it in the end.

Mensah was incredible, hit a dodgy spell in the last month or so though and didn't score for about 6 games but yeah, can't complain about how good he was.

Both my wingers were great aswell.

Hopefully I'll be able to get Joel Pereira & Mensah back on loan for League 2, Rafa too from Malaga who was great for me in CM. Stephens was another one of my best players, solid at the back, think I'll struggle to hold onto him. Gonna just raid teams for released players/free loans for League 2 and hopefully just finish mid table or so in my first season.

Got up to 5th at the end of the season with Sampdoria so into the Europa league I go. So many players coming to me wanting a move because Fiorentina/Juventus/Roma etc are snooping around them. Have told them that we'll make it into the CL this season though. DoF signed Adrien Rabiot which was a nice surprise. Battled hard for Balanta but Dortmund came in at the last second and he went there. Got Tielemans though so pleased with that. Just need a decent CB and to offload players and I am ready for the 2nd season.

Also, anyone know when the first patch is out? Or is it already out?

Just beat Swansea 3-0 in the 3rd round of the league cup. @Earthquake are the gates shared in this competition too?

A patch was released after the official lunch but it still has too many faults for me to sit down with it yet and really give it some time.

Same old same old. Will be picking this up once it's patched properly.

Hmmm, an odd situation I've never seen might just pop up in the Dutch Cup. Heracles might have to play against their own reserves in the next round(I know it's happened in Spain, with Real and Castilla, irl).

Won the league with five games to spare. Going into the final game now 15 points above second. :D
Lost the Johnstone's Paint Final to League 2 Rotherham though. :( I blame it on my media interaction before the game. Should have just been cagey, but as soon as I answered "We've been here before, and I see why we're favourites" I knew we'd lose. And we did, on penalties. Even though we played them off the park.
I'm being cagey before individual games from now on.

Takes the shine off the season, but it's been good: Met every competition expectation, raised huge funds through sales and cup runs, improved the financial standing of the club, reached the fifth round of the FA cup.
Championship here we come!

£1.5 million transfer budget to come, and a wage budget increase of about £20k.
Want to sign a right back, centre back, and maybe a midfielder or striker match-winner, if one is too good to miss out on.
I'm going to follow last summer's lesson, and not do too much. Three players max. (okay, maybe four ;)), so I'll take my time to find the right guys.

Took a risk and sold my two big strikers for big money. Electing to sign this guy and promote who'd been loaned out. What a decision that turned out to be!

I signed Britt Asombalonga for my Feyenoord team and he's been incredible. 21 goals in 18 apps and we're top of the Eredivisie.

I refuse to give unused substitute fees in my player's contracts. I think it's absolute bollocks.

I just congratulated Jovic on his first Serbia goal and he basically told me to feck off  cheeky bastard is getting transfer listed.

Just lost 3 - 6 at home to the team 11th in the league while topping the league and only having lost one game all season, because that's a thing that happens apparently.

I just can't beat Madrid or Barcelona, and its killing my chances of winning the league. It's 20-fecking-22 and Cristiano Ronaldo is still banging them in against me. My team is good and all, and has little trouble against the smaller teams, I guess I'm just the Arsenal of La Liga. Frustrating too that my board gives me max 20m a season, and nothing just the season gone.

It's going well with Barnet. I've beaten Watford to get into the Quarter Finals of the league cup. Next up is away to QPR, which will be tough but doable.

Second round of the FA cup against Luton coming up too at The Hive. Confident enough with the draw and can hopefully get ourselves either a home draw against another lower league team, or an away one against one of the big boys.

On congratulating players on their first international goal in this edition of Football Manager, I tend to find that the player reacts good to my first input, but always finds it disrespectful or condescending when my second input is either complimenting him on his patience or reassuring him he'll continue to score for his country. Every time. You're better off not saying anything, not even a text.

My favorite signing so far has either been a) Fewster, b) Hines, c) Mendy, d, Pereira, or

Just started my 2nd season with Sampdoria. Didn't win a single pre-season match. In fact I lost them all bar 2 so I went into the season a little worried. Beat Lazio 2-1 first up though so maybe it was just sluggish pre-season form.

Dortmund just asked for £50m for a 16 year old... I miss the days where you could buy a youth player for a decent price :(

Just beat Ajax 3 - 2 after being 2 - 1 down. Assombalonga scored his 40th and 41st goals of the season, what a beast of a man.

I'm now 5 points clear of Ajax with 3 games to go, but they're tough ones.

Next game I lost 9 - 2 to 13th place NAC.

THIS GAME MAKES NO SENSE.

I'm restarting, even if I have to play the crucial Ajax game again, wanker game.

Bought Messi from Barca in January 2016, he scored his first goal for United in his second game - a league game away to Stoke. On a Wednesday night. The weather was described as "wet".

Won the Eredivisie still, feck you FM.

Needed to beat Twente to win it and it was 1 - 1 on 80 mins. I brought on a loan player I've had rotting on the bench all season and barely played. Klopp has been moaning all season about me not playing him, he scored the winner.

Is this any good then? Seems like everyone moaning from what I've seen but I'm still playing FM13 so it may be time for an upgrade.

Aye it is, don't really see the problems people seem to moan about tbh, once you get used to it it's fine.

This is getting ridiculous. Wilson got injured again.
This last one is for 3 months

Inter just nicked Assombalonga from me but I held out for £20m. Still though :(

7 points clear on top of league one with 8 games left.

Yeah but do you have an Assombalonga shaped hole in your life? Thought not.

Didn't see that, did he want to leave?

Yeah he asked me to accept a bid if Inter came in andI tried to keep him but eventually said I'd accept if they bid. Went quiet for a while but it happened. Replaced him with Lacina Traore and Saido Berahino.

Also got Thorgan Hazard on a free which might be decent. Oh and Chris Smalling on a free, madness.

Moyes just got sacked as Newcastle manager and Steven Gerrard replaced him
