Gaming Football Manager 2014

So, into third season with Bilbao. Got a couple of 5* youth prospects in through the academy. Have also bought Monreal and Martinez for 7m and 32m respectively

Probably my best season ever on this, took me 3 years but I finally won La Liga. Also won the Club World cup, Super cup, Kings cup and about to play Champions League Final, got an incredible tactic worked out.

How is playing FM with the MAC?

Works fine?

I've only ever played on mac so I have no comparison but it works perfectly for me and my mac is at least 4 years old.

So I've been thinking for a while about start playing FM again, haven't played it for a few years so I'm a bit rusty to say the least. Is it worth buying the FM2014 version on steam for €25 or should I wait for FM2015? If I recall the newly released versions are a bit buggy and I don't mind downloading transfer updates and other stuff to make the game up to date. But still, €25 is a bit steep for such an old game when a new one is fast approaching.

Anyway, when I finally get the game, where to start? As I said I haven't played it for a good while so would be lost both tactically and pretty much on any other aspect of the game. Do I read guides or is it possible to just get the hang of it by playing?

Anyone knows of a good working torrent for this version? Am probably going to wait for fm15 and buy that one so dont see too much point splashing the cash on this one for a couple of months of playtime.

I still play my copy of FM 12, I will most likely be getting the new one, however I'm undecided to get the pre-release, or wait to the end of November and catch the steam sale, it might be around €25 then(the new version), so my advice would be to wait the couple of months for the new one!

Started a new save for the first time in ages. Went Chelsea and tried to sign Alaba and he wants 150k. I give it to him but he chooses City instead and his wages are 97k. Since, say, FM11 or 12, they've just continually fecked the user in favour of the AI with buying/selling players and contracts.

Cheers for the reply I'll probably do that! Bit shit that I've lost my CM 01/02 disc, would have been good for a few months at least.

Finally had some success on my Crystal Palace save.

Domestically, been solid, but unremarkable....two qualifications for the Euro League in my first two seasons, followed by two seasons of qualification for the Champions League.

My second season in the Champions League, managed to beat Chelsea in the semi's, and Man City in the final to bring home the trophy. Followed that up with the Super Cup win against Arsenal.

Now just need to try and bring some of that form back into the league and try and bring home the PL title.

Started a save with Dortmund(in Classic), surprised how mediocre their squad is. Aubameyang is better than expected though, purely on pace, I guess as otherwise his stats are meh. Reus is the crown jewel, just as good as a LM, RM, AM or ST. Groskerutz is good, his ability to play everywhere is vital.

I rounded out the squad as best I could. Barca bought Subotic, so in came Balanta, I also landed Alex Sandro, Coleman, Batshuayi(boss, haven't played Lewandowski a single game this season yet because of him), and prospects in Cerri and Pugliese. Next season I'll probably badly need midfielders. Barbosa will join next summer too.

I got a new chairman and I was worried about my wage budget being too small and I desperatetly needed to raise money so I leaked to the press that my request was denied, it worked once before when I lost a save game. Basically they said I needed to get 11 points out of my first 5 games (in the top flight...right) so two games in I am on 4 points, and lose a game I presume. I could still get 11 points and he sacks me! I mean wtf.

Teach you to know your place then, the snitcher.

If you've four points after two games, and loose the next, you only have 6 points available, and 10 possible.

First season at Dortmund finished, won the league but nothing else. PSG enquired for Sven Bender, and after asking for 40m, they offer 38m straight cash, gotta accept that, right?

Likely Chelsea will transfer list Matic at some point too, well, hopefully....

Well, managed to finally secure the PL title on the last day of the season, and my Crystal Palace side are crowned the Champions of England.

Unfortunately couldn't retain the CL trophy, knocked out at the semi final stage by PSG. Got a 2-1 win away in France, but put in a poor performance at home and shipped 4 goals, going out 5-4 on aggregate.

Added the PL trophy to the Super Cup, and Club World Championship. Not too bad considering I only have 17 players in my first team squad, and 9 of them are 23 and under.

 I decided to try again and I've managed to get past the obstacle, now I can lose to my hearts content. Its the only time I've needed to restart after that mistake

Update me someone. I need my updated pre-new game junkie fix.

I need a Little help finding a good update for this game. I bought it on steam today but want to play it with all the new transfers. If anyone can steer me to a site I'd be very grateful.

The new game is like two months away. Why did you buy this game now?

Someone's got to give. Bayern are violently good in this save/season, playing flat 4-4-2 with Lewandowski and Mandzukic up front.
Bayern blinked first.

Incredibly harsh on them, as when I sealed the league they had only two losses.
I also knocked them out of the cup, and CL! Won the cup too, but Man Utd beat me in the CL semis. Which United won in the end, a 1-0 over Real Madrid.

Chelsea unbeaten in 22 matches and still 11 points behind me. Also Di Maria has 16 goals 15 assists in 27 games and RVP has 17 goals and 14 assists, also have Reus and Thiago. I have screenshots how do I upload them ??

So got my Felgueiras squad into the portugese PL after two successive Promotions. Currently in sixth, however I do not know if being in sixth means I'll be in the europa league in Portugal (no idea how they are seeded). I'm leaving at the end of my contract, I want to go to Spain, before I go to England or Germany.
