How is this for a Schedule

very funny eh sonny boy?

i managed to defeat inter 0-1 away. and 1-1 at home.

defeated barca in the final on penalties.

Brilliant season. won everything except the carling cup. (incl club world cup and the euro super cup)

FMRTE?

I've been trying to go for winning 100% of my games a season but it's impossible. I always get stupid draws in the Champions League and I always botch one or two league games per season.

Tevez scored 8 goals in City's 8-1 win away to Fulham on my game  It's the end of March and he had 2 goals in 24 league starts before 8 in 1 game :wenger:
What's more stunning than 8 goals in 1 game is the fact he had just 2 in 24. He's an absolute beast in FM 10.
I've had worse before. I once had a run-in in my FM08 game that was:

FM 08 used to be crazy when it came to fixtures. One season I had a mental last 3 weeks. I played around 10 games in 17 days in May. I even have a picture or saved game file of that lying around somewhere. It was unbelievable. My games during the season kept getting postponed for various reasons and then I ended up with the massive backlog in May.

get players on loan
clubs dont ask for a loan fee from championship clubs

see if you can get kadlec . will be nearly 3m
pay over 48 months
top striker

Really pleased with who I;ve brought in. Coventry squad was threadbare.

I needed several CM, a left back, a couple of attacking wide players and a couple of strikers.

I got:

Yannick Djalo - £800k
Simeon Jackson - £600k
Kyle Lafferty - Loan
Fabrice Muamba - Loan
Andranik - Loan
Gael Kakuta - Loan
Jloyd Samuel - Loan
Nacer Barazite - Loan
De Laet - Loan

My squad is now slightly stronger than it was about half an hour ago./

Is it possible to not get tanked away at a top4 club in the cup when you're championship or lower? Because when the roles are reversed, the oppo team can line up with any formation and sometimes you just scrape past them.

Came 2nd and got promoted in my first season!

Simeon Jackson and Djalo upfront were phenomenal. Jackson at one point had 32 goals in 31 games.

Spent about £14m on the squad to prepare for my first season in the prem but it's still quite a poor squad and some of my best signings were free, which just goes to show how bad the squad was to begin with.

First game beat Burnley 2-0 at home, second game drew 1-1 away at Birmingham, but it was cheating bollocks, they equalised late, no doubt because the game decided that my players needed the experience...despite the fact that they didn't have a shot all game.

My mighty Notts County team beat both Liverpool and United 1-0 in the League Cup, before losing 5-0 to Spurs in the final. Was crazy times.

Cup games are always rigged. I battle it out against the smaller clubs no matter what the result, then the next time I play the same side in the League I'll batter the side.

Meanwhile Artem Milevstkyi is phenomenal, he's scored 16 in 17 games so far this season. Including multiple winners, against sides like Chelsea and Inter Milan (who I pulled in the CL group stages).

Any one had any experience with Kuzmanovic or Moussa Sissoko before? I'm looking for a box to box midfielder. Sissoko is £4/5 milllion more expensive than Kuzmanovic.

I've had Kuzmanovic. He's very good but doesnt have a good temprement and is a moaning little feck. Also, both times I paired a really good young player with him they ended up disliking eachother.

Which club are you managing?
Anderson is very good as a box to box midfielder incase you were managing United.
As for Sissoko, I currently use him as a back-up for Hargreaves in CDM/CM role.

Im sunderland and I had bids accepted for both sissoko and wilshire for about 18/20 million each after my first season.

opted for wilshire and never looked back.

Yet another CL quarter final and again I'm on the brink of crashing out
This time it's against Spurs. Lost the first game away 3-0. Had not lost a Seria A game until then and now it's all crumbling down.
Still have the home game to play but can't see how I'll overturn that 3 goal deficit :(

Thinking of selling Pato at the end of the season. He's done his hamstring twice the past 2 seasons and is 29/30.

starting a new challenge today.

Used (abused?) the rand() function to get to one lucky team.

The team i got finally is Hartlepool. Aim is to become a icon of the club before 2020.

I'm debating whether to carry on my game where I've won pretty much everything there is to win (with an English club anyway) and maybe continue there or leave my club. Or the other option is to start completely again in the lower divisions.

Play somewhere where you wouldn't usually, sol.

I've started one with Werder, having managed in Germany ever before since I started playing FM. Good fun.

I usually go United, then after 5-6 seasons when I've seen the next generation and won pretty much everything, I resign and start with a league one club.

The feeling of getting promoted > winning the premier league

Definitely agree with that, its great to drag a useless club up to the Premier League, much more fun. Going to quit after one season at United and go back to managing my Notts County team.

I do want to do it, but it's just my next generation look  Lukaku is looking like a beast, and Ozil is absolutely world class for me. I'd miss that

80 minutes:

"Pump ball into box!"

Nothing

"Get ball forward!"

Nothing

"OVERLOAD!!"

Nothing

Full Time.

Well well. This has to be one of my top 3 best results in this game.

If I can win the CL this season I'll definitely look for another job. There's a midtable club in the premier league that needs saving from Stoichkov's antics, i.e. Manchester United (all right they're 5th but still)

Wow! some sick note.

Have put Pato up for sale when he got another long term injury. The window closed without any offers and his contract ends next summer.

I did win the CL by 6/7-0 over Valencia in the final but decided to stick with Milan for a few more years. Arranged the biggest transfer for the end of the season. A regen attackic mid from a Real Madrid - 120millions!

Really enjoying this game. Winning the league every year with Man City but that's not my real interest. I took over Yeovil as a secondary team two seasons ago. Got them promoted after finishing second in League 2 and then against finishing first in League 1. Currently second after about 8 games in the Championship. Using all regenerated players. I didn't sign anyone over 18 years of age and the team has really gelled together.

Your managing two teams? Isn't that boring?

I quit both my managerial jobs at my club and as England manager after crashing out of the World Cup in the Quarters (Rio took over from me ) and have taken over at Coventry, who had underperformed last season finishing 15th. I've just been getting acquainted with my squad, finding out who's who and whether they're any good. Taken some time to adjust to what actually qualifies as good in the Championship as I'm used to such a high level of players. I've made quite a few signings. It's 2014 btw.

Tim Cahill - Free - Everton
Wes Brown - Free - United
Johnathan Grounds - LB - £525k - Blackpool
Robert Long - Loan (CDM regen from Arsenal)
Rune Jarstein - GK - £3m - Stoke
Peter Bogers - AMR - Loan - Chelsea
Sergio Fontana - Loan - (CB regen from Chelsea)
George Challinor - Loan (ST regen from United)
Diego Ramirez - CM - £1.4M regen from Athletic
Aliaksandr Hleb - Free - Sevilla
Ciaran Clark - CB - £2.9m - Preston
Eddie Johnson - ST - £900k - West Ham
Fredrik Stoor - RB - 175k - Sheffield United
Andy Reid - AML - £800k - Stoke

Currently 4th in the Championship after 8 games. I have a striker already there called Austin who is superb. Challinor has been amazing too, I brought him in with the idea that I'd use him as back up and in the cups but he's bagged 5 goals in the 4 games he's played so he's first team for now. Hleb has been disappointing so far, as has Reid.
