They've supposedly fixed that infuriating one-on-ones bug which means you can't stick Taibi in goal and turn him into Schmichael. Big, big change.
Right, any confirmation of the patch fixing one on ones ? And do I have to start another save for it to take effect ?

The patch should fix all previous games where possible (it's backwards compatible). So yes, it should fix your current save.

So apparently my returns that go back into the kitty is 60% - which is a load of shit, as if it was I'd be signing a decent right back and CB right about now.
I've gotten myself into a sort of Man City situation where I've brought in a lot of good strikers (Javier Portillo is mine for keeps, and I've got a good french striker and Toquero back on loan again), a lot of good midfielders (Schneiderlin turned into a really good player, and I've got Gibson on loan from Man United).

I thought this patch was supposed to fix the crazy GKs and silly amount of clean cut chances. Man City had 9 clean cut chances on me and they were all saved. Gomes got a rating of 8.9How do one go about using it on the unpaid version then??? Just so I can warn people like.

I've paid for every other one. And maybe you should read some forums or other feedback? Because what I've said seems to be the general consensus. It's a poor patch that fixes nothing.
I played 3 games in those 20-25 minutes and they all had the same thing, around 8-9 clear cut chances all saved miraculously by GKs who get huge ratings. Coincidence?
Wouldn't say that. An Arsenal side that has lost all confidence plays no better than a team just below mid-table although they do have the ability to change all of that, unlike this mid-table side.
That's the key. It seems like one bad game, and your morale can be through the floor. Which is just daft.

I've only played one game, but that one had a full two clear cut chances, both for one team. The keepers' ratings were far from spectacular.
Just played my first matchday after the new patch. Beat a high flying Man City team 4-0 away, and my Torino side picked up a tidy 2-0 victory over Catania.

The engine is better than what it was before the patch but I've still had some problems with it. In the last 3 games I've hit the woodwork 11 times, five of which came in one game.

Started a new game, signed the usual, the match engine is much better and smoother, but there's still some issues, especially when it comes to one-on-one chances... there's less but again it seems impossibl to score.

Doesn't that bore you? Starting a game and signing the same players over and over must get tedious, it's why I like starting low down where you don't know who anyone is and every game is different.
Never from day 1, though I start a new game I want a similar foundation to previous games, Jovetic & Sissoko are always signings of mine and i'm just far too used to having them in the system to start.
It's the other signings that are different.
