I increased his CA a few points, and to a level I feel is justified. I have no problem with you 'not approving' of edits. Personally, I don't like editing either, but I felt Rafael and Possebon were two rather extreme cases (and the United researcher agrees, and fully intends to boost them both for the next data update). What I don't appreciate, is your attitude and your assumptions. You'd think I've put the whole United squad on 200 CA and PA.

It's just that Possebon doesn't even play in the same position as Kaká - to get "the next..." in a totally different position sounds rather odd.
In this, we're completely in line. I can't notice any major changes in his attributes, and he looks much more like a Scholes than a Kaka (as in real life, then). I think the game might not really take into account just what kind of player it is. He probably ended on the higher end of -9 in PA, and that coupled with him being a midfielder and Brazilian just might have been enough.

Havent tried out the 09 version, Football Manager games tend to be very buggy for the first few months so I'll stay away untill then.
It takes fecking ages to load a game with large database.

Have they patched it for release then? I'm not getting it until I get it for under £20 and its patched. Not worth it at the moment in my opinion.

Apparently so. Probably just bad luck. You have to consider that something like that could easily happen in real life, and does all the time.
It was the fact that is was happening to about 6 or 7 players in the demo, for everyone, in every game, that was annoying people.
Hmmmm, I haven't played the demo since the first few days I got it, due to the stupid amount of injuries.
The 3D engine got boring quite quickly as well. I'm gonna give it a while before getting it to see if they have got rid of all the glitches.

SI/SEGA have royally fecked the activation system up. Most people who got the game today can't even play it because they can't activate it. Counter the pirates? This drives them into getting pirated software.
I installed it via the stream thing and it worked perfectly fine.
It's ironic that after pirating FM for so many years, this year i actually decided that i owed them for the amount of time i spent playing the game, and despite the game costing more this year than it has in previous years, i was gonna buy it. Then they go and mess it up because of this stupid system. There is no way i will be paying for it now, simply for the fact it becomes more hassle actually paying for it, than it would be pirating.
I do pirate games often, but i very rarely enjoy and regularly play most PC games that i do. The ones i do enjoy, i have actually purchased, most of the time for online purposes, and other times because i felt like it deserved my money. FM has always been the unfortunate exception to this, that i never bought since it was championship Manager. I don't know why i've never bought it (probably because pirated versions had everything a legit version had anyway) but it's a shame that the one time i actually planned on buying it, Sports Interactive were the ones that convinced me not to.

I got the full version, and I am unable to install it and play it. Any ideas why? As in, why does it keep saying I am not connected up to the internet, when I am, and that I need a new activation key?
Your in the same boat as thousands of people, including me. People that got the game today are having trouble, basically just the pure amount of the people trying to get it activated has fecked the lot. If you got it last night you were lucky.
My advice, leave it for a few hours, shocking though. If Alan Green played Football Manager he would have exploded in a big ball of hate by now.

I have been trying since about 1 this afternoon, had to go out for a bit, then been trying it since I been back. fecking fuming in all honesty, might have to crack open COD WaW or Mirrors Edge for a little bit..

Not one out yet. There's rumours of a pirated version being available, but hasn't made it as far as bittorrent just yet. Although, i assyume by the end of the night, if the rumours are true, it'll be all over the net.
Pay that much, have too wait and have all the problems you're having. I think i'll give it a miss.
