Gaming Football Manager 2009

Pre Season, Tevez giving me shit, sold him for £40mil. Bought for the future, Wellbeck is sensational at the minute. Any great finds yet anyone?
 
He's broken into the first team already at Barca this season. Seemed a decent player from the little i saw of him, which was about 2 games.
 
Can't really play this until the 9.01 update is released on Mac, the injury thing makes it unplayable.
 
I still have too many injuries. Four players out for 2 months or over. Barca have a small squad and you are only given 12m to spend :(
 
Keirrison is a great young striker, keep a look out for him, and I think Camacho is a great buy, 18 and I splashed 12m on him after 3 positive scouting reports.
 
Finally managed to load game this morning!! Bought Jose Baxter from Everton as he was out of contract, he has already scored!! Stats for Utd Reserve and under 18 are really low, yet Arse youngsters are quite high. V unrealistic at the mo. Plus Tevez wants to go to Madrid! and Ferdinand wants to go to Chelski!
 
I sold Tevez in my first week, laying down a message that I am in control of the team, and I dot not take kindly to my players criticising me to the press. Bought a few players with that money, top of the table coming up to Christmas, not too bad.

Bought Huntelaar, Srna, Vuckcevic, Anyukov and Emerson (on Robinhos recommendation to keep the fecker happy).

I think I'll just wait until the final patch comes out before buying this game. All the stuff in this thread has really put me off.

Hehe, I've not had any money to buy this yet, but it doesn't sound like its all that disasterous a thing!

I've had my usual boycott of game demo's, they're never the finished versions so why play an inferior product? I'm still hopeful I'm gunna enjoy the new 3D match engine, and there's gunna be enough suitible additions to reinvent it somewhat. Last few versions have essentially been data updates with pretty meaningless add ons, albeit still enjoyable of course
 
Are there actually 13 out on the pitch by any chance though? That would be awesome.
 
This game is pretty good, tbh, despite all the negativity surrounding the release. I'm even getting used to the 3D engine, though of course it's far from as good as it could be.

I'm currently doing fantastic with Maidenhead United, though I just got my first loss of the season. Followed by my second. Followed by my third.

Me too. doesn't effect the game but look stupid, Do you import the formation from a previous version?

I'm playing a different formation but with an AM of solo striker but the formation was imported from a previous version.
