Football Boots

Had a pair of Vapor soft grounds, but the sole ripped off them within about 2 months of having them, apparently a common problem, managed to kick up enough fuss that I got a pair of T90 Laser II's. I thought the Vapors were pretty good when I had them, light as anything, but the T90's were just awesome. They fit my feet really well, and I've loved having them. Had preds in the past(90s), but gone off them in recent years.

I have 2 pairs. The 10Rs that are all white kangaroo leather with gold trim/coloring. Also have the Nike T90 Laser I from about 2 seasons, white/black/red trim.

Both are still in pretty good shape and are the best I've ever owned.

I had those 2, loved them.

My last three pairs of boots have been Tiempo's, they're just perfect in my opinion.

Currently have these ones:

I would have loved to have had a pair, never could afford them though as a 14 year old, now a days i wear nike as they are most comfortable too. Why dont they bring them back out, the ones with the raised tyre were soo cool, they are better than any of the shit predators today, they have just got worse

I wear the Ronaldinho 10r Dois, I have them both in SG and FG, they are ridiculously comfortable and the heel has a rubber part for back heels n flicks, very nice.

Freshhh...

I like them black and Adidas, as they fit my feet the best.

Copa Mundial and World Cup is a choice you can`t go wrong with IMO.

Ordered these three days ago, can't wait to get them. I've used the same shitty pair of Umbro's for 3 years now, so it'll be great to try something new

That's what I have.

But the boys tell me that they have fake grass instead of astroturf now so not sure if those are still good. Would I need studs for fake grass?

I love them to bits..they feel like proper boots you know and that cell thing in the heel really helps take the shock when landing.

Do you think they still all right for fake grass? If not, anything similar? don't want to be slipping all over when it's wet.

Copa Mundials ALWAYS fall apart on me. Past two I've bought I had to put new soles in after two weeks. I would always dry them out too.

Not saying I wouldnt wear them. I just find it strange seeing predators without a big red tongue

I went through exactly the same scenario. Started with the adidas predator and they were the worst I've ever played in - it just didn't feel right and I had some of my worst games in them. I must have fallen atleast half a dozen times each game while wearing adidas predators.

Then bought the Nike Tiempo Mystic and they are miles better than the predator. Simply the best of the lot I've gone through. The predator is now gathering dust somewhere in my storage....

The very original predators were revolutionary, best boots you would have played in. Unfortunately, Adidas sold out big time and started making sub-standard versions, no one could find the originals. Since then they've got worse. I paid over £100 for mine 8 years ago. Had I tried before I bought I wouldn't have taken them for free!

I wear Nike Tiempos (astros now). Much more comfortable and natural than any sh*t Adidas produce.

The problem with the predators is that they've always been on the heavy end. Essentially they're just a free-kick boot, and there are certainly better options out there.

Brought for $200 AUD when I was in year 11... lasted me a good 4 seasons, before I quit. Loved them. Had K-Leather, blades (I had trouble with studs) and were incredibly comfortable. I love black boots as well.

super novas were classy boots, i remember our star center mid in high school had them when i was a freshman and i thought they were the shit

I just bought a pair of Nike Mercurial Veloci because they were the only ones in my size that felt comfortable that I could find. $50 seemed reasonable.

I had to replace my Total 90's after they split across the top in both boots. Probably because I never really took good care of them.

Do you lot clean your boots and add any wax or polish or summat to them? I normally just take them off, bung them in the bag until the next game.
