Football Boots

These are my badboys:

I wear the boots that look the best at the time ;)

I have a brand new pair of Adidas World Cup in a UK7.5 if anyone is interested. Drop me a PM. Never got round to wearing them and play more 5-a-side now than 11-a-side. The boots are soft ground with studs.

If this is an illegal post then please delete it. ;)

I have the green vapors; great for running speed and touch but also allow you to hit the ball in any way with a lot of power.

I hate people that buy really flashy boots unless your actually a good player. Ive got some puma kings.

i've had these for a couple years... they're a little busted up now but still the best boots i've ever owned.

also have some vapors. took a helluva long time to break in and they can still be a bit painful for a full 90 minutes, but they're incredibly light and it feels like going commando.

Amazing boots, until you leave one in the changing room and some cnut decides one boot is worth nicking. :(

No way! The bastards!

I had one pair for 7 years and i adored them but the stitching eventually started to fray and come away on the soul. :( (I've heard since that there's a website that specialise in repairing adidas boots that i could have sent them to. Instead i went out the next weekend and bought another pair. I wouldn't wear anything else)

I have 10Rs too. The best boots I've had for overall comfort and ball control.

I never feel comfortable playing on the wings where I need pace with big boots like predators etc. They're fine for midfield players though.

I've been told by a few of my team-mates about this site but never got round to finding it. Could save a pretty penny! Im a lucky bastard though and get 50% of my boots payed for each season (although selected range) :D Gutted the Copa Mundials or World Cups aren't included.

I find those total 90's, or what ever the feck they are called now, to be a bit shit. Not very comfy, not great for control and not very light.

I have two pairs, hg and sg. I play both soccer and gaelic football and have found Umbro Speciali to be one of the best boots for both comfort and control.

Where do you get them from - i have not see ones with a black Nike Swoosh.

My own handy work my good man. Well, went into a brilliant little shoe repair shop and they just covered the yellow swoosh with some leather dye (atleast I think it is dye). Had been looking for a pair of plain black Nike boots, nearest I could find.

I bought these last winter as I split my nike boots and at the age of 33 thought I might just finish this season and retire, I paid £15 for them at JJB and must admit they are one of the comfiest boots I have worn.
I have spent £130 on predetors and nike boots etc throughout my career as a sunday league footballer and never played any better in them.

In conclusion the best boots I have found are these Umbro speciali's a pair of Mitre that cost me £8 and a pair of Puma Maradona King £17 back in the early 90's

And as for people in coloured boots, they are definitely targeted at the beginning of a game by many players I have played with, especially the less talented of us who wish we were good enough to were them!!!
