@P-Nut 's transfer seem to be paying off. @RedTiger @Enigma_87 are in the mix trying to be the first back-to-back league winners. @BeforeKeanetherewasRobson seems to be solidifying a solid league position. @NM is in the mix again, maybe this will be his year? @Gio is making a comeback and @harms and @antohan are having sad seasons.
Luka Modric is establishing himself now! Maybe the good times are coming back?

We are keeping the flag flying in Europe. Interesting to see how the Legends have faded now though. Good luck with your league challenge. I’m only three points back but we all know at this point I’m destined to never win it.
@oneniltothearsenal What the blazes happened to Tuppet’s team? Only 3pts last season and only 4pts this season after 25 games. How can they be so bad?

Overall I can for sure say this — the bet on all-rounders (Di Stéfano & Zizinho) was a huge mistake. It seems like specialist players with specialist roles were the one to target. Di Stéfano only broke into league’s best chance creators once, I think! And never got even close to being in goalscoring charts aside from one odd appearance at the beginning of the season.
Scarone retired and the team fell apart completely. He was probably my best player since the restart, almost leading me to the European trophy. My other player that at least sometimes found himself amongst the best, Picchi, left on a free years ago...

I think a lot of it also comes down to the manager lottery. Lots of us lost our managers early on and the new managers ripped up the playbook, used players weirdly or destroyed long term planning. I selected a bunch of players Like CR7, Neymar, Ramos who I knew would be young at the start but 5-6 seasons in be amazing. Well I think all of them got released on a free as we changed managers about 6 times. I went big early on on Leonidas, thinking it’d give my team a reliable goal scorer. From what I can tell, he barely played and was released on a free.
And what about Maradona or Messi? Neither of them ever seem to feature on any of the leaderboards. Lord knows what’s going on at these clubs.

No. Most temas have been switching every 1-2 years. Its very, very rare to even keep a manager 3 years.

I should be a manager update but more pressed for time this week and just trying to power through.
As punishment for violating Fair Play, I removed Tuppet's backend sugar daddy (every other team has one) and gave him some debt to manage. He was slowly unable to afford the massive wages of the legendary players. He had a big exodus the last 2-3 years and now he just can't compete after Schiaffino and Bican left.
There were a lot of learning experiences here for sure that none of us (least of all me) could have predicted when I did this draft.

Yes. Although first run of season 2 was lost and so redone when this was relaunched. But it has the original draft and completed season 1 base.

Or maybe Tuppet rewrote the code so in a tie, the team with the most Ts, Us, Ps and Es in their name, won.
Not far from that, at one point I had figured it was inverse alphabetical order.
Didn't hold elsewhere, but could be a combo of GD/GW and that after.
May well be just whoever got there first.
