Should I allow Managers/Clubs to make transfer every summer or should I lock in the teams drafted fo

So... dipping into oldies for once here. If there's a role I feel comfortable doing that is that of the orchestrator as we typically know more about them (and I would hope the stats reflect that!).
  • I need someone who can pull the strings in a creative yet disciplined way, in keeping with Cruyff's style and tactics.
  • Ideally, given I have a bunch of teenagers, this guy can be the captain and inspiration.
  • I need someone who can run the show and grab the game by the scruff of the neck if needs be.
  • Has to be somewhat prolific himself as I can't solely rely on Romario (1gpg for club and one every other game for country sounds good to me).
  • I need the guy to be consistent, which could be a worry if this weren't a club playing in England, where it consistently pisses with rain during the season.
  • There may be some challenges with Wim, but for all I know FM has named disliked players and clubs, not nations, or tell-tale first names.

I found a quote I been meaning to share from Clough on Cruyff from earlier convo with @Edgar Allan Pillow. Its when Clough picked his all-time favorite XI and included Cruyff and asked who he would pick to manage the side

"Well it'd have to be someone who's played a bit, could talk about it clearly without waffling on as if he was Albert Einstein, someone who wouldn't be afraid to tell that Cruyff bloke to pass the ball. I suppose it had better be me!""

That's where I was after my first six picks (MFers and forwards).

As much as my ground breaking 1-1-8 formation would've been fun, after 19 of my 23 centre halves were picked, I thought I'd better pick a couple of defenders. Thankfully 1 of my top 5 was still left.
