Yeah. In hindsight we should have had some kind of DoB cut off to avoid real oldies. Maybe 1940+ players only. Cervato, Ballerin plus 4 or 5 others are rated very very highly in the database, but only very few are even aware of these.

not an issue with me tbh, if someone knows this guys then fair play...heard about Cervato earlier so this Ballerin guy is the first player i actually dont have a clue who is he.... hope people pick more of this guys so the players i want stay intact

Ideally that should be the way...and if that was the case I doubt Cervato and Ballerina would get picked up at all.

It would work better as a current players draft, as FM ratings are usually fairly balanced and there are no surprises. But because this is a fan-made database there can be surprises and some players rated too highly/low etc.

Or even players since say.... Jan 1980. Some relatively recent cut off. Nothing against Ballerina (or any posh dancers) but a living memory FM would be good.
