Final: Italy vs England

I hope you feel very big about yourself.

by all means celebrate that italy won but to rub it in the face of others just shows how pathetic you are

England fans were rubbing it into the Scotland fans & Wales fans when both nations got knocked out and acting like the Billy Big Balls. Jump into their respective threads and you will see. It’s alright for you lot to rub into the other home nations but when the favour is returned, you cannot take it.

I actually just checked, Sancho did not touch the ball once in the regular game, marking his pen as his first touch.

That is just appaling management and a freaking rookie mistake. You never send in players in high pressure situations if they have no play rythm. It is just mindboggling. Southgate thouroughly bottled this as this was far from his only mistake. Mancini completely exposed him in terms of coaching from the half time mark onwards. The latter actually adjusted tactics and formation to influence the game while the former just stood there and watched without any answer outside a gimmick at the the very end. No answer with that bench at his disposal, thats just criminal.

He actually did, stop spouting nonsense.

Belotti and Jorginho missed despite playing a sizeable part of the match.

This was a lottery, as any penalty shootout

You're the dickhead who, in response to a guy who was getting racist abuse as he was literally feeding children, first said he deserved the ridicule that would be coming then scoffed at the idea the abuse would be racist.
Again, making literally everything about race. I applaud Rashford’s efforts on feeding if children. You’re you’re giving me opinions I don’t hold. I’m criticizing him as footballer, it’s not that complicated. But if you want continue on making it a larger race issue, I’m not concerned with that.
You may not be my enemy, but you sure as shit aren't my mate.

The one thing I didn't want is a United lad to make a mistake and be blamed afterwards.

So after all is said and done, Southgate’s approach hasn’t won the tournament so all the criticism of the approach and not using his talent will come back because ultimately it didn’t work.

Will we see the same in the WC?

If ever a game proves that any team , including United , need a midfield that can dictate the tempo of a game. Imagine England with Verrati or Jorginho’s composure on the ball and time to consider the options around them.

We scored ONE goal from open play in the last two games but the coach doesn't change a thing until way too late and then he bottles THAT. Shit coaching, taken to a new level but they'll spin this as "progress".

Rashford is going to get ridiculous racist abuse all night. Hope he switches off his social media

Start of extra time I think.

It's so much less disappointing losing knowing we gave it everything and used our resources as well as we could have done. I don't believe we did that tonight. Sancho is such a dynamic player going forward and should have been an absolute nightmare in extra time. But no, we played for penalties. Very very disappointing.

This was England's best shot in a long time. So many home games + deep squad. Then an early goal in the final. Then they did absolutely nothing in the 2nd half, it was bizarre.

Like I said, I hope you enjoy reading the abuse Rashford will be getting for his penalty technique.

Glad to see that people kept it civil.

Also, stop calling others names like you wouldnt be a unbearable wanker w/e if things went in England`s favor.

Henderson didn't quite work out, did he. I thought he was poor and allowed Italy to take control of the game.

Manchester United should have beaten Villarreal.
England should have beaten Italy.

The difference was the managers, as you've said. Emery and Mancini thoroughly outclassed Ole and Southgate despite the latter two having more talent at their disposal. It was so infuriating as a fan to watch powerless as your manager stands reactionless to a game that really should not have gone to penalties.

Yup. I have wanted Southgate to go, but maybe he will learn from this for the World Cup..who knows. But incredibly naive.

Started to read this but got bored. Don't use all your daily post on me bud, I won't read them

I'm not surprised you get bored reading more than 2 lines. Not surprising at all!

Shouldn't you be starting a gofundme campaign so your club can sign some players?

No, it's not my responsability and I don't care if we need to sell the fecking stadium to pay the debts created by the thief we had in charge before. It is only fair. I'm not a hooligan.
Besides, the problem is not "not having money" (well, not only), the problem are some LaLiga rules that punishes you in some cases. But this is not a thread to talk about that.

This is a thread to talk about the European Championship final.
Italy deserved by 100 miles to win over England.
The reasons? the horrendous football England proposed. Can you talk about that? about the fact that you play a final in your stadium against a team with less quality and you play with 8 defensive players? that you sit back for 120 minutes hoping for random goal from your top players?

Football won today. You like it or not. And it has nothing to do with United, Barça or the NBA.

England players taking the medals off their necks within milliseconds of having it put on. Stupid cnuts, it took 55 years to get you those medals.

Note: Hendo kept it on.
Hendo knows this is his last Euro. Imagine being taken off when you are the most experienced player on the pitch.
