Final: Italy vs England

Fecking cowardly management from Southgate.

Gambled on a 19 year old who's played shit and then bringing on two players who have barely played all tournament.

Congrats to Italy. Southgate’s tactics were poor. England have a bright future, need to be braver with the managerial tactics.

Southgate is telling Sancho don't fret, I will play you for one more minute next tournament.

first Messi, then Djoko, now this. all in all, perfect day. it would be a crime to see a cheating side lift a trophy in the end, especially with such a hillarious draw and home advantage in every game so obviously I'm delighted Italy did everyone a favor. surely even the English supporters were rooting for them, which is understandable as Italy win is simply better for football. we can all agree on that. there's really no need to say anything else except - thank you, Italy! now you can trully go home

Feel so sorry for Sancho, Saka and Rashford. Two of them sent on cold to a highly pressured situation and a young lad who has looked understandably overwhelmed in the last couple of games. Shudder to think of the abuse that all three will face next year and only hope that the Arsenal and United fans get behind them and they can respond like Beckham did all those years ago.

Look at me i'm Harry Kane i'm worth 250M but i will take the easy pen. Glad he's still trophyless

And that’s why people still slag Southgate off. Coward, hung the subs out to dry. Knighthood?! Should be sacked

Why bring them (Rashford and Sancho) on 1 minute before the penalties? Surely you bring them on 5 minutes or 10 minutes before to get them warmed up and up to speed?

Why didn't more of the senior players step up to take one?

Feel horrible for saka. A bad performance and tasked for the final pen? The manager arranges the order right?

That being said Donnaruma is a beast in goal.
