Yeah they'll probably be the same level of quality. Either "go here, kill thing, get reward" or "find x things, get reward". No need for them tbh.
Don't think I've ever played a FF game with side quests like that.
That's the essence of these games. I love it.
Streamers/Youtubers seem to be hitting 90+ hours on the game and that's just doing a normal playthrough without even touching hard mode yet.
I haven't watched it, don't want to spoil stuff for myself, but surely hitting 90+ hours on an almost 100% playthrough (as the title seems to indicate) of a Final Fantasy game isn't that exceptional? There have definitely been several where I exceeded that.
You're right, but then I remember that this is just a part of one game rather than a stand alone title.
Im in two minds for this one. I bought a PS4 just to play the first one, so was well hyped for it, but I never fell in love with the combat system and the game as a whole felt bloated and slow going. The second one looks more open and covers some of my favourite parts of the original game, but I also read that there's even more bloat than the first? Im sure its good, but I may wait til its on sale/PS+ rather than grabbing it now.
How did you feel about the ending of Remake? if you were ok with it then it probably might be worth buying as you know you're getting more of the same weirdness. I didn't like the combat too much in the demo and I know i sound like a misery guts but i can't do any more of that theory crafting or "join us again in 4 years time to see what's really happening" business. I'm too cynical now

I pre-ordered today. I got halfway through remake, all the reviews of rebirth are saying it improves greatly on remake's weak points. Hard to ignore the review scores for this, feels like a must play.

I'm not getting it tomorrow, earliest i'll be getting it is Monday or Tuesday. Seller says it's distributiom problems but I think it's revenge because when I bought it from them the price was a fair bit lower than it is now.
Ordered the deluxe version from Amazon which is allegedly arriving tomorrow but I have started the demo today and am absolutely loving it.
I actually found FFVII Remake a bit of a slog, but I'm all in for this. From what I've seen so far it looks delightful.
Enjoying it so far. Graphics are a bit underwhelming for a ps5 exclusive though.

I take it back after i got out of the village it looks great.
After i turned not to get audio from the controller i wanted to try it out, but it wont turn back on despite turning it on in settings and reloading the game. Anyone with a similar issue?

Finally got a PS5 at Christmas for this basically. I've been playing Cyberpunk since then which I literally just finished with this week so some great timing.

The card game is awesome. I'm kind of in awe how well they've done this so far.
A little tip, don’t skip the opening cutscene thinking it’s all going to start in the same place as the demo did, or you’ll start the game very confused.
