Woah woah - I have to lose my Fifa10 player to create a new player? Because I still play the online pro game on Fifa10 a fair bit..
Blast. Played as Australia and got knocked out by Spain 2-1 in the Quarters.
Nah you just if you import your Fifa 10 player in their stats are just like creating a new one.
Just had my first World Cup campaign with England, got knocked out by France in the quarters on pens 
I'm fecking terrible at taking penalties still.
Was 1 - 1 when it went to Extra Time and I'd had Rio and Rooney sent off. Still managed to get a goal with Crouch in the 103rd minute to make it 2 - 1 and it looked like I was holding out til Henry sent over a cross, I misjudged the header with Lescott and it went right over my head to Benzema for a tap-in.
France won it in the end too.

I've just made it into the final with Spain in my 2nd tournament after coming from behind to beat Italy 2-1 in the semis. Iniesta will miss the final after receiving a harsh red for a tackle from behind

EDIT: won 3-1 He took kickoff and I tackled and scored on the counter, then scored again to be 2-0 up after 8 minutes. Then he scored next attack and i controlled it from then before scoring in the 88th minute for Torres hat trick before he quit

i.e can never play with Spain, or France, or even the Dutch etc..Absolutely detest those 2 teams.
If I'm to play with a five star team, usually the Italians or the Germans, or if I'm in the mood Brazil..
Otherwise now am starting to stick to play with Turkey.... Playing a slow passing build up game with Italy though is always fun.

I loe the scenarios, the commentary at the beginning is a nice touch.
Although i have just noticed they've nicked a lot of the commentary off the UEFA EURO 2008 game. The big hint to me was when Townsend called Spain underachievers and that they've never done it on the big stage, and when he claimed Owen was one of the key players for England.

Is the 2006 scenario mode good? Not got enough points to unlock it yet.
Likewise the classic and adidas u11 (under 11's? Seems a bit wrong), are they any good?
I don't have enough points yet for that either so can't say.
I'm currently plowing through the captain your country mode to try and unlock the classic XI, not sure how to unlock the adidas XI though.
EDIT: found out, go to My World Cup and Enter Codes and then enter this WSBJPJYODFYQIIGK and it'll unlock them. Looks a poor team though.

Currently just entering the finals of the World Cup in CYC.. with Kenya.
Its quite challenging, moving on from playing Madagascar to England is quite a jump. I am really enjoying it at the minute though, will get on to full team modes and scenarios when im done.
Love the variety of goals you can score. Sure, you still can score by getting 1on1 with the keeper, but I scored a quality goal against Thailand earlier by smashing it in from 40 yards.
O and the heading is so much better as well.

I got knocked out in the quarters by France on pens too. Italy won the tournament though. Strangely (I was playing as England) I managed to beat Germany 3-0 in the last 16 game.
I haven't played football games for years so I played on Semi-pro. My first tournament was on Pro level and I only scored 1 goal and didn't get out of the group

After winning the WC online with Spain, I'm going after the win with a 3* nation trophy and have picked Wales as they have Bellend, Bale and Ramsey to build around. Just played Cameroon in the first game and Eto'o tore me open before superb goals from Bellend (2) and Ledley (goal of the season) and he quit after 60 minutes

Havnt played Fifa since 09 ...boy does it show!same...tbf, it's only slightly better than FIFA10, and doesn't really warrant the money, but I really like the idea of replaying certain classic matches from various points..Playing Portugal as Denmark with only 3 minutes left in real time, or the Ireland vs France game from just after Henry scores really does make you feel more part of the action...and makes it far more tense than a footy game has ever been IMO......they should incorporate this feature into regular FIFA, I love the idea....
btw, anyone know what games you get from the 06 WC when it's unlocked?...Do you get to play with Zidane or Fat Ronaldo and other past players for example?

Are there any cool MP modes? I find SP really boring.
I just had the strangest and most annoying glitch ever, was on the online world cup, I was Faroe Islands against Holland, was doing well only 1-0 down at HT then as soon as the second half starts my screen decides to go all crazy and make some players invisible and some with missing body parts and every 30 seconds half the screen would turn blue with only a few players visable and the ball would disapear when entering it aswell.
Of course, I didnt quit because ...well...I was sorta hoping the other guy was having the same problem but I really doubt it seeing as he won 4-0 in the end. I got some pics:

Yeah I also got it today. My finishing is as bad as ever and my lack of concentration bites me in the arse every game....
MP as in Local? The CYC is up to 4 players, I did it on Euro 2008 with a 3 mates, and it turned out to be brilliant. Every game was a mixture of being unselfish enough to help the team, but selfish enough to try and grab the captaincy. I thought it was really enjoyable.

I've not played as Spain yet, i keep trying (and failing) to win the online world cup as a lesser team.
I managed to make the knockouts with Wales but some shocking defending nearly cost me. The inability to select the last defender is fecked up. Why they changed it from Fifa 10 I've no idea.
Can't you just use the right analogue stick to select him, just point it towards him?
