Sound is fine on mine. Although that gay song is really starting to grate.Game is amazing. Couldn't get into fifa 10 but this one's great.
A question though: when I started the game I noticed the opening (sound stuttered a few times too) and the cutscenes at the start of matches are quite jerky... major framerate problems in those. The actual matches play smoothly though. Is it the game, ie is anyone else experiencing the same, or is it my ps3?
The cutscenes are pretty jerky on mine, too.
Questions for people who have the game.
Have they sorted out the end of game highlights? In the demo it's rubbish. I smashed the bar with a David Villa shot, and Torres followed up with a blast over the bar, they show the blast over the bar on the highlights and not the original shot. It will show a random clip of the goalie catching from a corner instead of me going close with a header. Sometimes it will only show 2 chances in a game full of them.
Does it tell you when you get a red card now? Sometimes if I give away a pen and get sent off, the whole protest the penalty animation comes up, then the penalty is taken, but it never tells me I've been sent off.

Played an online world cup last night. Got to the final with Romania beating France, England, Cameroon, Bosnia, Serbia and drawing with Austria before losing in the final to Brazil.

How does that work? Do you have to play games one after the other?
Is there a stat that tells others how many world cups you've won etc?
You pick a team you support then choose a team to play a world cup with. Then you just play a world cup as you would normally but every game is against a different guy online who's at the same stage. You can leave and come back whenever though, no need to play it all once.

Oh, but if you want to unlock the other modes in kick off you have to play the offline world cup.

There is a classic 11 and an Adidas 11, not sure how to unlock them.
Also there are tons of scenarios to unlock, i've done Denmark making a comeback against Portugal with 4 minutes left. Ireland scoring a winner after Henry's handball and beating Switzerland with Luxembourg.
There's world cup 2006 scenario's to unlock, and when this world cup starts they'll even have those thrown on.
I love the little things is these, like the intro commentary for each one and the correct players on at that time even players that got booked in the game have their yellow cards.
Kits look good, Vidic is great in the air as i've only played against him not with him. Serbia are pretty quick down the flanks but not so hot in the centre. That may have been the guy i was playing against though.
Oh and penalties are very tricky, i'd tell everyone to use the training function with the targetting aid on for the first few to get the hang of it.

Pretty good description. He ran my Romanian left back ragged, and set up there only goal with a peach of a cross. Looks like a fun player to play as.
