Ok, played a game. Seems to be very good. I've only seen FIFA 10 being played briefly, but this looks more impressive graphically, IMO.
I would be up for that. I will drop you a PM when I get the game.
I didnt get FIFA 10 this year so will probably pick this up instead
I'm really looking forward to playing this now. I can't wait to do the scenario mode as having a bloody homehub severly restricts who i can play against online.
Not getting this because of the price, but will look on enviously at those enjoying the game while I wait for FIFA 11.
Anyone able to post what game modes there are what they're like? From friendlies, to World Cup mode (with qualifying and without?), what about penalty shoot-outs? They're always a laugh.
I always feel with these games that they lack depth but that they're good because they fill you with excitement at the time!

Anyone got the hang of penalties? I've only played the demo but i just fall over when taking them?
I always seem to put them miles wide, despite barely moving the stick in a direction at all. Seems ridiculously sensitive. As for you falling over, I've never done that but I think you may be stopping the bar outside of the composure area. Should be a red, yellow and green thing you have to stop the bar in, stop it in the green, and as you do that the power will also charge up at the same time.
I imagine in a World Cup final the composure bar would go quicker? I think it's a nice addition.
I think there will be more penalties awarded in this game than Fifa 10 as finally they have brought back the Ref's ability to give a penalty even if you don't slide in.
So the phrase 'would have been a free kick outside the box' is eliminated if i make any sense!
Yeah it would, also the green bar will be bigger or smaller depending on the player.
i.e Bigger area to stop it in if you're Ronaldo, less if you're Gary Neville.

I just saw that this will cost me 60 euro for XBOX 360, is that a normal price? Can't believe it. Will not be getting it if it's that much.

as I can't save goals online.Another thing, I was Brazil playing against England (my friend) and a corner is cleared by Ferdinand with a header towards the edge of the penalty box.Kaka chests down the ball as makes a fantastic volley which unfortunately for me hit the crossbar.Those combos (controls followed by volleys) were impossible to pull off in FIFA 10 but here it felt so smooth and natural

It is, usually when I play a new FIFA I never go back to the old one. Like when the FIFA 10 demo came out I didn't touch 09 again. I haven't played FIFA 10 since the World Cup demo came out either. I think I still may keep it though, I have all the FIFA's from 2003, be nice to carry on the collection.

I don't seem to be having much luck with one on ones. Is there an option available other than a straightforward shot? Like say, a little dink over the 'keeper? My ball control when shooting is also suspect, to say the least. I blasted one over from about a yard earlier. It seriously defied the laws of physics.

One on Ones:
- You can round the keeper, power up your shot and at the same time push X and you will fake the shot, sometimes the keeper will go to ground and you have an open goal.
- Shoot across him
- Shoot near post.
- Chip it over him, L1 and Circle
- Pass to a teammate if one is to the side of you just behind you.
- Blast with power at the goal
- Wait til the keeper gets close and then tap O to try and poke it under him/past him.

Yeah. I'm the same. I think I have every FIFA from 2000, including world cup and euros, except for FIFA 07. Still very tempting.
What I was thinking though, is how much can you get FIFA 2010, 2nd hand for?

A question though: when I started the game I noticed the opening (sound stuttered a few times too) and the cutscenes at the start of matches are quite jerky... major framerate problems in those. The actual matches play smoothly though. Is it the game, ie is anyone else experiencing the same, or is it my ps3?
