Does anyone watch Nepenthez? I like the guy sometimes but he keeps banging on about this crossing meta. All he looks at for attackers now is their bloody jumping and heading stats as well as the height. There's always something to exploit.

That'd be a nice card for sure. Mbappe feels sluggish as feck for me so far.
Every time I play against him he out strips my 86 Lala yet I got absolutely rinsed off a Carvajal today. Don't know how to improve it at all.
I've been using crossing for a while now, it is a great counter to the players that just spam timed finesse cause that's all they defend against.

Loving my current squad. I wish i had more time to play on weekend leagues, i finished 8-1 this weekend which forme is historival as ive never got any better than gold 2. I think i could had better that with my current form but had to do other stuff.

I find this as well with him, I think he is 97 rated speed and to me he doesn’t feel as fast as you would think. It still bugs me that you can feed a ball in to space and somehow a 65 speed defender seems capable of keeping pace, getting in front of him and just ushering him off the ball.
If I’m receiving the ball with him now I load up that fake shot and it gives you that little speed boost but it’s still ridiculous.
Yeah I need to start using the tapping method to knock the ball a little further away from me, which seems to make you sprint slightly faster.
Played a couple of games when I got in from work to get to gold 2, gotta agree with what @Macern said earlier about starting on team pressing and more attacking to get ahead and then dropping back to a normal style of play afterwards. Works a treat. Mbappe came alive playing that way as well, people just couldn't get close to him, on the transitions.
Id love to have him but it takes almost 900k to do which i cant afford now and also i think that the 88 reus cost me 350 k which dont compensate if i use him in the higher card sbcs, which sucks

Take coins from the rivals rewards makes you fly up the amount of coins you've got much quicker. Make 100k a week easily

I tend to change during the game and in certain instances I’ll go constant press and and fast build up like when they are taking a goal kick or if he is just popping it about in defence or if I really need a goal. That’s ultra attacking, and then I have attack set up just for counter attacking so when he or she has attacked heavy and I regain possession a couple of tight passes and bodies are flooding forward and normally if I switch the play the winger or full back is in acres of space but this is where I find that lack of difference between 65 and 97 annoying as although I’m in space there is no way anyone should be getting close to Mbappe.
Balance is just a conservative 424 and the other two are just variances of depth defending for 442 seems to work well.

I did just mix up the defence, though. Swapped Thiago Silva/Telles/Ederson for Benetia/Sandro/Handanovic. Handanovic has already pulled off some wonder saves

Capable to compete with multi million coin squads. If I play a player on par with me for example... he is going to have a massive edge due to the fact he will have an unreal squad and ill have my 350-400k team.

Has anyone used Radja Nainggolan, I played against someone using him the other day and it was basically the Radja show. He was everywhere breaking up play and getting back at people then he was banging in goals. I’ve never seen a performance like it, it was like all his stats were on 99.

Just keep playing though and you’ll have a decent team soon enough. My skill rating is just above 2500 and I feel like I’m the only one in my division with a team below 10 million, mine is worth 3.15 mil. I still manage though, almost made elite 1 last weekend. Having played against you before I reckon you shouldn’t be far behind once you get a slightly better team.
When you get the Varane, Ramos and Courtois triangle you’re going to do a lot better.

This is annoying my squad must be worth say 1.5mil and last night I came across some Uber squad with 4 TOTY 2 icons and then he had like POM Hazard, Bale and Messi to call upon. I swear the only reason he won was due to the squad and some sloppy finishing from Rashford.
I was playing him off the park having chance after chance and he managed to score 3 absolutely rubbish goals where he was just getting lucky breaks from rebounds and forcing it over the line.
Do you do any market diving? I’ve made a fortune selling bronze cards for like 2k and eventually that adds up. I managed to buy Lemar yesterday for 2.1k and immediately turned round and sold him for 8k. All adds up in the end.

I'm never on mate. Get on at the weekend and try squeeze in 20 games between Fri-Sun so I wouldn't dabble in the transfer market as it would just take up my time

Made a decision, came across an Aouar going for 650K and the cheapest I’d seen previously was starting at 790 so going to see how it plays out and hopefully I’ll get it for not much over 750.
Had to pay more than I wanted but 790k, put him straight in the team and changed to a 433 and he scored within the first 3 fifa minutes. He feels ridiculously agile and fast and he was picking out passes like they were nothing. Got an assist as well.

That is probably my next purchase but I love that Meunier card so I’m a little bit reluctant to part with him his height and heading have come in handy and he is a bit of a weapon at the back.
