First time that I registered for the weekend league but honestly couldn't have been bothered playing a single game over the weekend because of how awful it was to qualify. Taking this as a promising sign that I've finally come to my senses.

I asked this last week but got no takers. Could anyone build me a team for around the 400-500k mark? I havnt used a lot of the players on Fifa 19 as I didn't play a lot at the start.
I play 4231 in game but don't mind what formation you need to do it as I can change it in game no problem

This is my team. It comes in quite a bit below your budget because of the RB that's no longer available, but there's definitely room for swapping out players to better suit your needs. SMS/Telles/Silva score so many goals from corners, Verdi & Perisic both have 5* WF & can score from anywhere, Hamsik has 5* WF and can absolutely blast the ball from 30 yards, & Immobile is just... Immobile. At the start of the game, I swap SMS to the left, Allan in the middle, Hamsik on the right, and have Hamsik play really attacking so I guess it's a psuedo 4-2-3-1.
You could swap the back four for Sandro/Koulibaly/Cheilini/Cancelo with Szcezny in goal if you wanted to spend a bit more, but that's a lot of extra cash to replace Miranda, basically.
If you like long distance power shots from all over the place, you'll enjoy it. If not, it won't be for you

Yeah I'm more of a dribbler if that makes sense... Probably pass one too many times on this game considering all you have to do is line up a finesse or timed finish. (I still don't use timed finishes ffs, just cant bring myself to doing it)
Good man. I hate having weak links so as balanced as you can get please. Make it on Futwiz if you can or just post it as the rest are banned in my work for some reason
I'm the same, I don't bother with it either. In fact, I just wish I could turn it off so I didn't accidentally double-tap B/O when going for a tackle/shot.
Put Dybala/Mertens/Costa/Cuadrado in that team and you'd be good to go though

This is a great team with no weaknesses to be honest. Goretzka on 8 chem (I think) but it should be fine. Fahrmann is incredible by the way.

@Emmet if you hate having weak links you should probably just go for a full BPL team. You won’t get the advantages a hybrid provides, but obviously it’s easier to change the team.
I’d go with the same attack. Probably Dembele and Matic in the middle. Sanchez, Van Dijk (if you can affort), Walker and Robertson. Not sure who to put in goal.

Surprised to see some of those players. That left back good enough you reckon? The back 4 look a bit suspect, but then again I have never used any of them.
Kimpembe is incredible, of all the PL center backs I’d say only Van Dijk is better. Vogt is great too, probably around the same level as Davinson Sanchez. He’s 6ft4 and has 84 sprint speed.
Mendy is surprisingly good. Haven’t used Caligiuri, but I reckon he’s decent. That Fahrmann card is in my opinion the third best goalkeeper in the game, behind De Gea and Courtois, but ahead of Neuer and even SIF Szczesny (excluding icon GKs, haven’t tried any of them). Also, Rabiot and Goretzka are significantly better than what the PL has to offer for similar prices.
I might just give that a go! Tempted to maybe look at changing up the right hand side a little bit though. Appreciate the effort pal!
I’m the same, I hate using that finesse and only really use it if I feel the opposition are abusing it. I tend just to prefer to open people up and the slot it but on occasions I get lost in my own passing looking for the perfect opportunity and just end up passing it about for ages. Good thing is finesse is getting nerfed as many have complained so the meta is sure to change.
On this I had the option to get him but for me he was just someone I would never use as he doesn’t fit my play style then yesterday I was playing someone with him and within a minute he was 2-0 up just to Zlatan scoring goals from impossible ranges pivoting 180 to some how get a shot in the top corner. I was able to shut him down after that and win the game but it was ridiculous.
Now if the new meta is just crossing then Zlatan is probably going to be even more effective.
I’ve got 800k burning a hole and some players I probably wouldn’t mind losing like Salah and Griezman so possibly could get a mil and although I’m pretty happy with my team I feel like I need to spend this pronto.

@Andersons Dietician My playing style has always been 4231 with a big but skilful man up top to lay it off so Ibra would have been ideal. I used Geundouzi in a draft and thought he was excellent if you need a CDM/CM to splash the cash on

He would have been perfect for you then. I prefer smaller and fast with good passing and traditionally I’m 433 but the tactics on FUT compared to career mode are quite limited. As I’d have it as 2 CAM basically operating as a front 5 and fullbacks deployed as wingbacks so it’s more like 7 at times but you just can’t set that up which sucks.
Geundouzi was on the shopping list I’ve just taken to looking at the road to the final cards and though I should check who they have and there really isn’t a pick em match, they really all look like they could go either way except City vs Schalke.
I have seen Alonso and Tah cards that are Orange/Black. Can they be bought or are they SBCs or something?
You can buy them, they are Europa league to the finals as the Kondogbia one looks quite tasty as does Ben Yedder.

Has anyone tried the Doucoure from PL SBC? He's a proper beast on it, scores bangers with a Hunter card on him too.
Much does it costs roughly? I tried his normal card wayyyy at the start and thought him and Ndidi were great.

Are you looking at building a German league base? Just today I saw Jovic FS go for 160k and from the looks of his stats that looks like a bargain. On average seemed to be going for 200k and I’m not familiar with the other top strikers in that league but people might be sleeping on him.
Kai Havertz going for around 400-500k but I think he might be better than Aourar being he is 6ft+ I think 6ft 4. This in that Reus PM SBC card and IF Goretzka and that is something. Actually I might sell it all and go German.

You get rewards at the end same as online draft, however the packs aren't as good.
Aye, I played through to 4 wins & got a few gold packs. Still, wasn't bad for free. Happy enough that I did it.

Wow, whats the going rate for that card? I was convinced EA stipped that happening by bots bidding you up to closer to market rate.
12-13m as far as I know, but the PC playerbase is smaller, with fewer people able to afford such cards. If it were on PS4, I've no doubt it'd go for closer to it's normal price.
