Anyone notice when you’re playing as United in the champions league Derek Rae says about commentating on United is special because of their history in Europe with players like Bobby Charlton, Denis Law, George Best and... ROY KEANE?
I loved Keano but is he really in that same bracket?!some odd commentary in this game.
If you're looking from the CL perspective, probably.
Those early SBCs are really good profit makers. You should do them as quickly as possible, while player sale value is high. There are tons of solutions on futbin to get them done cheap as possible, just be careful as some of the cheapest ones are scams to get you to pay silly money for bronze players.
Ah I feel like this happened to me. The chemistry was never enough.

That happens sometimes too, where chem is off by one and you have to spend money on a position modifier or something.
What really annoys me although its pretty clever and I think EA have started banning people for doing it, they hit the bare minimum requirements and use one bronze player who costs 2-500 to tie everything together (example a iranian left back in the polish 15th division) he will be the key to make it work, without him chem won't work.
They'll buy all his cards on the market at 200 coins each, so futbin will price him at 200 coins.
The SBC might be something like 4k in total on futbin, they will then proceed to list every copy of said bronze iranian polish 15th division left back for 5000 coins.
Average Joe will go on futbin and see, "oh i can do this sbc for 4k and I'll get a 7k pack",
First thing he'll do is buy the more expensive players and gold player as they cost the most and end up buying himself into a hole where there is only 1 player on the market to complete the sbc and he's now 4.8k more expensive and the guy who listed him makes 500k coins.
First thing I look at when I check a solution on futbin, is the obscure looking bronze/silver players in the team. Its worth paying another 1-2k for a team of common golds then getting screwed like that.
The last part of the SBCs you need 100 chemistry which means you'll need to play 10 games iirc. But you get a mega pack for them and a rare mega pack for completing the lot which is well worth it. I've took screen shots a week or so ago on which players to use, once that squad has gone off futbin the prices go down. If I need how to send them off my phone on here I'd happily send them to everyone

I would rather just play the game with the decent squad of players I have and try and beat everyone I can on the game.

Doesnt take too long, just go on futbin and look at the sbc solutions and look out for cheap ones because some with silvers might be inflated (just do quick searches of the players before you start). Some of them you need loyalty on every player which comes after 10 games or if you pack them. You can just go in a single player game and then reset the network (go in network settings and turn it on and off on your playstation/xbox). That disconnects you from ultimate team so you just go back in and do that 10 times. You dont actually have to play 10 full games.

To be honest I've only used him for 45 minutes at a time as I subbed him in for Mkhitaryan. I've not played a game since changing my team so I'll have to let you know after this up coming weekend league.
Just finished my Hybrid league and nations and got Alaba. Not so bad and with other sales I'll be sitting on 280k. Dybala a few days ago was going for 300k and has now jumped to 360k

Bronze pack method is very profitable given the Icon sbc. Rare bronze players goes on average for 700. Buying a pack for 400 coins will give a return of 1000.

That’s assuming you get a rare player, which you often don’t. Even the 3 rare pack for 750 you’d be lucky to get 2 rare players.
Absolutely sick and tired about how broken FUT is, I decided to spend my 800k coins all on packs simply to see how big of a scam it really is. Packed Alisson, Sane and Pepe Reina as my top 3..... I think I’ll stop playing fifa 19 all together

800k would be 106 packs of premium gold I think. So yeah you're just under the average
is that true? As much stick EA get for being pure cnuts (rightly so) you’ve got to admire their balls. Just look at how many people they have bent over. Making absolutely millions on something that has next to no cost for them.

I promised myself that I would never buy fifa again and even skipped fifa 18 but on Monday I gave in and bought the new one (on disc in case I want to resell it) I'm enjoying doing the sbc's and playing offline games at the mo to build up some some coins, and sniping players too is fun, I have been doing that a lot today as it was the new TOTW and because of all the packs being opened I have managed to get some good bargains for profit. I haven't played a online game yet but am getting decent entertainment out of the game. I have about 115k coins already and am going to go on futbin to see what team I can build.

If you do start playing online, take the untradable packs from rivals rewards. I've found that it keeps me interested that way and doesn't let me just buy my best possible team straight away. Last year I packed TOTW Hazard at CAM and he was selling for stupid amounts. Managed to get an unreal team 2 weeks in and then I was bored after a couple of months.
800k, man I was feeling guilty about spending 90 on those 5 player promos and 2 15k packs. I probably made about half of it back. 60k at most when everything sells.

1. Ultra defensive, long ball, high pressure. Every player behind the ball, Martial, Jesus, POTM Lucas up front. Win the ball deep, pound it up to the wingers and hope for the best (Which usually works as passing is accurate as long as you're facing the right way)
2. Ultra attacking, long ball, high pressure. Every player runs at you, takes you out, takes the ball with him. Every bobble, every pass, anything you do, their players come out with the ball

I remember the days when we all used to talk just about the game play and people like me who only play career mode had a purpose to visit this thread. Nowadays it is all about coins, SBC's and buying packs. Fifa have hooked you all in
Both approaches can be annoying to play against, but I feel like ultra defensive longball players get countered very well by defensive full backs, if you take away their wide attackers they lose all of their teeth.
High pressure opponents can punish careless losses of possession really heavily, but I think in theory the game is stacked against them: they can only control one player at a time and the AI doesn't have the best spatial awareness, so if you play with focus and patience you can always stay one step ahead of them.

To be honest, I need to learn one, maybe two shimmy moves that buys me the space to make the next move.
For the most part I do feel composed against high press, but two things tend to happen.
I pass the ball forward, and as it approaches my player, waiting for it, obviously, their defender just runs and intercepts or, I pass to the completely wrong guy, which is frustrating, because maybe it was my fault, but it just seems to happen way to often

The best thing I do against high press is keep width when I have the ball. Your fullbacks are always free out side and they're the key to progressing up the pitch. When you're playing through the middle a backwards pass isn't always a bad thing to create new angles for forwards posses. You need to be incredibly patient to get the better of these tactics. The AI is just the worst this year. Ping pong passing is outrageous and no-look, top corner from 25 yards screamers with some shit player happens too often.
I'm tempted to play 5atb, keep my full backs wide and utilise them. If the game is going my way, I can switch formation and have a defender play cdm

Bought IF Bernardo Silva last night, overpaid by 20k but I don't really care, losing interest in grinding for a meta team this year and Bernardo is one of my fave players.
Fut rivals rewards were better than I thought, took the untradables and packed lots of decent player's if nothing great. (Martial, Pickford, Dier, Depay all go into my team/squad)

Nope I couldn't stand him either. Had to get rid of him as, like you say, he constantly ends up all over the place.
