After kick off you just go to settings - network - turn off internet and then turn it back on.
For me and I find it really hard, getting to the edge of the box and timed finess shots are the easiest way. Other than that hope the other guy plays stupidly attacking and leaves you acres to get one on one.
Wish we could all do like the Legendary AI and counter attack at light speed, cross the ball and then smile as the oppo keeper under zero pressue, with no one around him for some unknown reason decides to punch the ball straight to an oncoming attacker for the tap in(About 80% of the goals I concede in Squad Battles are this and with DDG first and lately IF Cech..)
Wish I saw this before I took 20 losses for no reason, even more annoyingly after forfeiting about 10 or so games, every time you try to forfeit you get a disconnected from the server message, so after quitting about 10 games and not getting the loss nor the loyalty, I had to play one and then forfeit another 9 or 10. I must have started 30 matches to forfeit 20.

Started a career. Only player I’ve bought is Zaha. Trying to swap Sanchez for a good CB.
Started one too and managed to swap Sanchez (and 40m I think) for Sane from City. Worth it.
The only question that needs to be asked: has anything significant changed in the career mode?

Yeah that sucks. I think it’s stupid that you need loyalty for the SBCs. Doing the glitch is boring and pointless, and playing 10 games with a crap team that you’re going to get rid of anyway is a proper pain in the ass.
Takes much longer if you do that though? by turning the network off then back on it just takes you back to the main menu on FIFA so you can just go straight back into Ultimate Team.
Yeah. Tried both and disconnecting is definitely a lot quicker. Takes an age to start the game back up again.

Having major problems with my download speed on PS4. Fifa 19 download currently says 85 hours, I have good internet generally and never have issues streaming or playing online.
Any tips on how to speed it up? Taking literally days to install a game is beyond a joke.

Won all my SB today and even beat and 85 rated team on pens. Elite 1 looking comfortable now as I have 4 games in hand and am 2k clear of Elite 2.
Have to say despite my struggles I'm really enjoying this Fifa but I think EA messed up when trying to create a skill gap between the pro's and the rest they actually made it smaller. I've only taken one hammering and whether I deserve to win by 5 or lose by 5, the final score rarely sees more than 2 goal gaps in favour of the others. AI defending is crazy good this year.

Put PS4 in rest mode, but make sure your settings mean it downloads in rest mode.
You literally have to tackle someone about 12 times to actually win the ball back online. It just bounces around and falls back to them every time.
Bought it, said I wouldn't, but with the origin premier deal I should get my moneys worth all in with Battlefield and Anthem

Got Keylor Navas in a pack but I’m building a PL team. Best I’ve got is Zaha and TOTW Matip.
You don't need to tackle someone much but make yourself available to intercept, I never let them have much on balls, their passing rating is so awful because I knew where they pass. I average 70% possession with CBs playing so high block.

Doucoure is quality as a defensive box to box. Wings are pretty expensive though
I've not tried him but Adams Traore is a nightmare to play against.
If you've been saving all the players you've got from packs instead of selling them then the Lucas SBC is crazy cheap. Cost me around 8k for an 86 rated RW.
I packed Kovacic and Lallana so need a defensive player for a bit of balance. He looks good cheers.

Adama stats look class for a 75 card. 96 sprint speed, 88 dribbling, 83 strength. With a chem style card to improve passing and shooting he'd be a very useful player to have.

So with this squad battles thing if I miss an update I simply don't get to play it? I think there was one that stared at 1 last night and ran to 9 this morning. I missed that by an hour, does that mean it's gone if I don't play them between those hours?
You need to have them loaded. You can play them whenever but you need to update the list before it expires. So you have to play them before the next list expires.

I watched a video on YouTube that said the only things that had been changed were obviously the Champions League licensing and that you can now train some physical stats (such as pace) as well as the usual passing, shooting etc.
I bought Zaha too. And got Koulibaly at CB who's unreal.
Sanchez and Lukaku seem realistically useless, despite their high overall stat. They're next to be replaced.
Caved and bought it. It's coming tonight. Anyone on PS4 fancy a game let me know.
