I cannot recommend turning off timed finishing enough for those struggling to score like I was. Played 8 games this morning without it, W6 D1 L1.
Does it make alot of difference by switching it off?
Does that not take the whole purpose of a new Fifa away?
First time in an age that I haven't got FIFA on launch day. Don't know if I have the mental fortitude for FUT this year, even though I'm dying to use Keane, Scholes and RvN.

Only if you have a habit of repeatedly tapping the shoot button when on crosses/rebounds or lose balls like I do! It's worth it. You can still score screamers and finishes from all angles and you dont think about forcing timed finishes every time and being fancy with them. I'd suspect it's only going to be a thing for the very elite players tbh.

I can mash buttons to my heart's content now as well when the ball's in and around the 6 yard box.I'd bet me arse that's just a social media team. I am enjoying the FIFA 19, it allows me to dominate the matches and control match from start to finish so perfect, nice movement. Many goals I conceded is because of a defensive error, it is worrying

Can you set it so only one side does it properly with United? I want full immersion.
I imagine if you set one side as "stay back whilst attacking" with it on then you'll prove just as inefficient as the real life United.

How do you score? I'm still incapable of scoring. Just had 20 shots and scored twice, one of which was a bicycle kick off of a corner. The AIs blocking is just ridiculous as well. They come flying from 10 yards away and block it every single time. It's like all of my players are Valencia.
Shaw and Dalot's stats need updating. At least bump the latter's pace and crossing up.
