It's an intended part of the game. If EA didn't want us to do it they wouldn't let you convert a striker into a CM or vice versa. And they wouldn't have released FUT Birthday cards with players wildly out of position, like Salah as a LB, van Dijk as a striker or Lukaku as a CB.
If anything, it adds more variety to the game because you can now build teams with full chemistry you wouldn't have been able to previously.

And as for pretending he has bronze players on his bench for no reason. At least be honest and admit you don’t have the balls to play the game straight up.

If by putting worse players on your bench gives you an advantage then more fool EA. It's up to them to fix it.
Being able to change a players position is what's wrong with the game? I can think of a million and one things that are a lot worse than that
I don’t take it personally but it’s an annoying factor in the game. You already have a better team than 99% of players so why is that not enough? At least admit you’re taking advantage of a broken system.
The fact that people will go to those lengths to win a game. It is a game after all. And I’m not just referring to one professional. It’s endemic in the game.
It’s not EA that suffer though, quite the opposite. It’s the people that just want to play a normal football game.
The attitude of having to gain every tiny advantage to win a game that is supposed to be fun to get the easiest game you possibly can is a big part of what’s wrong with it. For me anyway. You’re welcome to feel differently.

He isn't playing "normal" players, he's playing against the top % of Fifa players that play this game professionally. People make a living from doing well at Fifa.
For him not to use every advantage possible would be idiotic.
If they want to play a casual game of Fifa they can play online season which has set teams. I pretty much guarantee everybody with a squad as advanced as that will be using the same tactics.

Think this is the only real way to do it. Anyone got any feedback on Veron/midfield Zanetti? Worth getting? I had TOTS Sissoko in there before, and had Hazard CF in there instead of Gomez.
Wan Bissaka is a definite keeper for me, because he just absolutely bosses it for me. Maybe its just the way I defend but no one gets past him at all.
Alternatively, I'm half tempted to just keep one of Gomez/Ben Yedder as a impact sub option - but I'd still want to buy a decent CAM then - maybe someone as deadly but who has a bit more height about them. @Hernandez - BFA if you want height don't buy Sane, he's useless in the air.
I'd personally go Zanetti over Veron, just more solid as a DM and Verons passing isn't at a level above Zanettis that would make it worthwhile

Yeah I don't like Sissoko either, Wijnaldum is decent but don't know if he fits, Vieira is quite cheap to do if you've got high rated players already? I did him with about 400k
Hmmm, I've been flirting with Vieira - might be tempted. I've cleared out my club with doing the Henry which I so regret - he's good, but not "raising my team several levels" good.
I'm going through my silvers at the moment and selling them off. Didn't realise I gained basically the whole Cardiff team again which meant I practically sold 4-5 of them for +50,000 combined.

6 & 7 in WL... never had such a bad weekend. Lots of cheese going against me but mainly I'm playing shit Fifa. My defence seems to be terrible. PIM Blanc and tots Marquinhos keep spreading like a hookers legs for opposition attackers. TotS Lala is never in the right place, game feels so weird this weekend. I'd take tots Trent back for Lala in a heartbeat.

I hope first time shots, croqueta and AI defending get fixed. 90% of the goals i concede are first time shots outside the box. The worst are the ones where players are behind the ball and still score from a freak angle. It is just tiresome that EA give noobs opportunities to abuse the game mechanics with ease
Worst WL finish this year at the worst possible time. Gameplay has been awful for me all weekend and I've had some proper horrible games this week.

I had the same problem till today. I ended up 6-10 after 16 games. I got up at 8am and today played like a dream for some reason and I finished 17-13 after being 17-10. 11 wins in a row and than 3 losses to round it off.
This game is so inconsistent, its infuriating.
TotS Benzema is the best player I've ever used on any Fifa, probably going to sell him before rewards though and grind the shit out of leagues too.
Yeah I was 12-4 finished like 18-11, today almost broke me and made me delete the game. Couldn't lock onto the ball at all and my players were just walking everywhere. Combine that with people doing 10 la croquetas in a row and I almost broke my first pad of the year.
Don't feel bad I'm down one pad and a gaming monitor over the fecking thing. They just need to make the game feel fair. I don't mind losing. But some of the stupid broken rng is crazy.
I scored a goal today and I'm not joking if it was against me I'd probably be locked up.
Everytime I passed to my player the guy made a perfect tackle (on at least 7 of 10 passes) the ball kept falling back to me, I played a horrible through ball (one of those that are overhit and keeper always collects) guys keeper came running out, went into this weird animation to pick up the ball instead of diving on it, I ran Eriksen in, keeper never picked up the ball just stood there twitching his leg while my Eriksen poked the ball between his legs. It was easily the worst thing I've ever seen in Fifa, I should have recorded it. The game just flat out wanted me to win, no other possible explanation I can come up with.
I conceded one similar today, tame shot rolling to my keeper, he dives to pick it up instead of just scooping it, came off his shoulder instead and the guy just tapped it in. Luckily I was 4-1 down already at that point so I just laughed.
Ended up getting a 30-0. Probably the sweatiest weekend league ever considering the rewards.

I would be surprised if EA went back to TOTW for rewards after this WL, so you can rebound next week. They might keep doing TOTS rewards or another promo for rewards.
