So for anyone who wonders about packs and league SBC's, I've had a couple of days work free and been grinding the shit out of the game.
I've done 114 League SBC's, almost all from PL, La Liga, Bundesliga plus CSL and Saudi. Alot of the big league teams twice.
The results are in and its good but not good if that makes sense.
From 114 packs I've hit 10 86+ players (actually 8, an 86 if and an 84 if) so a walkout every 11 packs approx. They also seem to come in clumps of 2 or 3 over 4 or 5 packs then nothing for ages. I have bucket loads of boards players though.
Talking coins I started with 531,576 coins, I am now sitting at just under 340k. So I've spent roughly 200k coins.
For my 190k deficit
I've completed the final 3 Vieria segments (85, 84 and 83 SBC's) 226k according to Futbin.
Blanc's 87 rated squad 200k
The Serie A TotS SBC 120k
Outside of my team I have a few big cards sitting around but nothing major Kroos, Aguero, Insinge all tradable. And the league SBC special card for Vardy.
Of course it justifies the 200k but the amount of time to get it... well its faster than playing WL thats for sure but still demands crazy time.

Have put it in the shelf till Fifa 20. One of the poorer FIFA games in recent years. I am burned out from it as it is really the only game I played this year.
Bottled elite yet again in my 28th game. Keep getting to 20-7 and then losing to not have a chance of elite. Think if I finally manage it I'll probably play something else until 20

God knows why I done that because I have Goretzka and Vieira and love them both.
Anyway..... Finished on 20-8 after going on a good run yesterday. Kicking myself because Elite would have been nice this week, but its all about next weekend! Got to make sure I can play 30

Classic.@Carlsen19 What position do you have him? Agreed, he looks incredible but I have 2 CDMs (Vieira and Goretzka) and I don't think he would suit there. Could sell Mbappe 91 and do him if he is amazing at CAM good at CAM
I’ve got him at CAM in front of Bobby Moore and TOTS De Paul in a 4-3-3. He’s scored 5 in 3 so far.
That's about where I'm at. I could sell Mbappe or Di Maria to get him, but don't know if he'd be worth it as one of the wide CAMs

Well damn. I swear I have the worst pack luck. I've literally done I'd say 10-15 upgrade 81 packs for each tots the prem, ligue 1, bbva and not pulled a single blue.
Then I go on Twitter and everyone's pulling loads of them.
So I did a few SBC's and I hit a feck load of TotS from Ligue 1 (well 7 and none of the big ones).
I dumped every non rare gold in my club into SBC's just because I was bored.
According to my spreadsheet I did
7 x 81+ Ligue 1 SBC's = 2 Tots. (Savenier 93 CDM and Benitez 93 GK).
33 x Ligue 1 Upgrade Packs = 5 Tots (Veratti 94, Bamba 90, Khazri 89 and Maignan x 2)
So you expect 1 in 3 or 4 roughly on 81+ packs and 1 in 7 on normal packs.
30k for the 1 in 3 packs = 90k to a tots card.
8k for the 1 in 7 packs = 56k to a tots card.
You could also do the 1 in 7 pack much, much cheaper than 8k as you can snipe players at 400 instead of 700.
Ligue 1 rare golds are gone through the roof almost 3k a pop, if you have some lying around I'd get them on the market if you ain't doing the SBC.
If all players I used were tradable it would have cost me 470k but 1/2 of them were UT and gained back from the packs so roughly 250k worth of tradable players.
The value of the players I packed back were 560k including the duplicate keeper I hit.
So all in all not worth it imho, as had I used the players I dumped into the SBC in league sbc's I'd almost certainly have made at least the same value of players back and all tradable.

Went on last night and done Marquee Matchups (Everyone should be doing this every week btw). Packed Savanier and Benitez both tradeable. Completed my first 81+ upgrade and packed Lala and Benitez. I am gonna keep both Benitez (using one in Ligue 1 SBC tonight) so cant open anymore until tonight.
You probably think, what a lucky git but I reckon so far I have opened well over 300 upgrade packs and got absolutely nothing across all other leagues, so its about time.

They are easy packed, I read somewhere that 1/2 of the board players so 83+ in Ligue 1 are TotS. So your odds on upgrade packs are 1/3 to 1/4. I'd like to try Lala or the Brazilian cbs.

I got walkouts but havent packed one stinking single blue. I swear my account is rigged for pack pulls in a bad way.
Do the normal upgrades, you'll have loads of dross on your club that you can throw in to get 15-20 of them to open at once, you're almost guaranteed a blue that way
I've done about 8 normal and 1 81+ of the Ligue 1 sbc, nothing in the 81+ but in 3 different standard ones I got Payet, Fekir and TOTS Fonte.
I don't have a lot sitting in my club atm, but will throw a load into normal upgrades today and use the rares then for 81+ packs. Tempted to just go all in and spend around 400k on on rares and do loads

The odds on Ligue 1 should be way better, weird you haven't hit any of them.
Ligue 1 has only two walkouts that aren't blue (Buffon and Naldo) every other is a blue.
It only has under 40 rare gold players over 81+ so adding in 18 blues to that mix and the crossover. 50% of the possible cards are blue.
EA are screwing you badly.
I've had good luck with those packs if I'm honest, 7 Ligue 1's and Ederson and Maddison from the prem.
You'll hit Mbappe from you guaranteed pack and all will be worth it.
My issue with buying players for it is the number of duplicated tots you'd hit. You are far more likely to hit Maignan x 10 than Mbappe x 1 imho. You'll hit lots of tots. My club is empty now and I've been pondering the same but dunno what to do with all the duplicates as I don't have the players to do the high rated icon sbc's.
How have you not had to discard the duplicates?

I had a look on the market anyway, it isn't worth doing upgrades as even non rares are overpriced atm. Seems plenty had the same idea. I haven't done a league SBC since Suarez in 17 so might dabble with a few later. Any leagues off the top your head can be done easily and without being ripped off?

As pascall says don't do the full league, but rather the ones that you get a good pack for cheap. I know Besiktas are one of the best for it

I actually don’t, I've rinsed my club and not opened a pack with coins or Fifa points in ages. All I have is high rated untradable special cards I literally have zero normal cards now.
I suppose my team is complete now anyway. They definitely are screwing me over, my club is dry now apart from my main team as I’ve used all normal cards I have. I think the guaranteed sbc costs 100k from scratch so might just give it a miss. As I know I’ll pack a keeper or something.

I haven't hit many high rated duplicates and I recycle every player possible. I do a pack and than open a pack so what I have to use in the next pack. The only tots I had duplicated was Maignain or whatever he's called and I put one of him into Blanc's 87 sbc and one into his 84 sbc. Not sure what I'll do with them now as I have very few useful cards left in my club to go into sbc's with them. I think the biggest mistake people make is building 20 packs and opening them all together, then you get stuck having to discard loads.
I'd say just run bronze packs and try and get those hard to get silvers till the prices come down. If Ultimate tots has a similar sbc prices are going to go mental on all players.
