I just played a game and lost 3-2 to a guy with 10 men, his 3 goals came from 3 shots, one being a volley and another a knuckleball free kick, I had at least 10 shots. It all comes down to what the game wants you to do.
Agreed, i just battered a guy all game but the game made me miss chances from the 6 yard box putting them wide. In the 110th minute it finally relented and let me score to go 2-1 up. He then proceeds to score straight from kick off and then again in the 120th minute.
It did that thing where the moment i went 2-1 up my players were unable to pass to each other, literally. No problem at all seconds before leading to the goal, but instantly from that moment everyones fatigue went to 100%, no one able to run or control a ball, or track an attckers run. Its bullshit. Definitely my last season on FUT. Biggest waste of time.

10-9 atm. Just facing 20m+ teams, convinced my matchmaking is broken. Looks like gold 3 for the millionth week running.

Yep unfortunately that seems like a common occurrence in this game mate, you're definitely not the only one. I actually gave up on my fifa around feb/March and only play it at my brothers on a Friday night, nothing has changed since I gave up, the same problems are still evident every week. EA are the worst I've ever known, they'll take one thing out the game (first time finesse) and create another to allow people to score whenever (el tornado cross). Somethings they never take out and probably never will (front post headers off corners).

Icons should only be matched with icons, it’s absolutely ridiculous how unbalanced it is, most of them don’t even have to try and play the game properly.
I know what you mean, however it would then become pointless to get them.
Or at least matched more often with other icons, it’s just not fair for casual gamers who don’t invest as much time into it.
That’s my team. In game I switch to 4-1-2–1-2 (2) and have Son cam behind Ibra and Cruyff.
FB Zlatan is just a complete joke. I can’t believe I didn’t get him at the time. I was 2-0 down then fought so fecking hard to bring it back to 2-2. He brings Zlatan on and he scored 2 headers within about 5 minutes.

They really should take out the scripting. And fix the bollocks where you start the game with one formation just so your chemistry is good but change it the first chance you get so you can okay wingers as strikers or cams or vice versa. There's so much BS in FUT I gave up after 18.

I do share an account with my brother so I’m on like 1.1 million match earnings with 1000+ wins. I always pick coin rewards from rivals too.
I'm actually doing alright. I only ever played Weekend League once before and it was in FIFA18. I never played it again because I was so thoroughly outclassed in the 3 matches I played.
This time round I'm 8 wins and 5 losses so far. Which is miles better than expected considering my team is always worse that who I'm matched with.

Because last year a lot of the pro players would agree to wear certain kits so they’d know to avoid each other.
So today I have gone from 11-1 to 11-7 in Fut Champs, my worst ever losing streak.
