Had been saving up for TOTS discounts but got bored of using a basic gold Serie A team and just bought a United dream team.

I’m OCD as feck when it comes to the ratings, thinking about buying the new Alderweireld to replace Ferdinand. Hopefully we buy him.

Edit: The two non-United players are untradable, got them in January and was sure they both wouldn't make the final

Lethal. I'd been hearing for a while that most of the United icons aren't amazing except for Best but honestly Ruud plays how he did in real life except he's pretty handy from outside the box too. Scholes is okay but not superb, he's probably someone I'd consider replacing if I didn't have an emotional attachment. Keane has been very good for me like Kanté but scored some bangers for me too. My favourite has been Giggsy, even more than Best, he's not as good as Best necessarily but the way he dribbles and feints with the ball is spot on and he's got a nasty shot on him too, it feels better than what his stats would suggest.

I realise you didn't ask about those guys but that's my take for anyone that's interested. Ruud is worth it IMO especially if you're interested in making a United team.

Haven't seen anyone mention RVP btw, did his SBC and don't regret it, scored an insane curved free kick with him last night.
 
After trading like a madman recently my FIFA dream finally came true, I did the Prime Gullit SBC! I can’t believe I actually have Prime Gullit, it’s unreal. Not only that, but I got TOTS Allan in the final pack from his SBC! I haven’t packed any expensive players in all of 2019 and now this! :D

How much did the Gullit SBC Cost you?
 
So I need to do the Fut Swaps objective (scoring with inform player in 3 rivals wins) today. In the past these objectives have taken 3-5 games for me but typically today I can't get a latency above 3 bars and every single game is lagging. Anyone have any tips? I usually have 5 bars latency every single game, and have not experienced lag this year.

Hmm, probably around the face value of the SBC which is around 3 million minus 300-400k since I traded in my Prime Crespo and minus another 250-300k since I traded in Schmeichel who I got for free from futswaps last month. And you can probably subtract around 200k worth of other untradeable cards. So all in all, a little over 2 million maybe.

It's broken again for me scored with to tots win the match and still stuck on 1
 
Was coasting in Division 2 for a month. Coming close to Division 1 a few times. Then last Thursday it all changed, hammering teams, hitting the post or bar or the keeper pulls off stunning saves and they go on and score a fluke or a stunner that never normally goes in. Another loss and I'll be in Division 4. So annoyed

I could do this myself but I am so tempted to use the Ultimate pack from Futswaps this month. Don't really fancy doing the baby icon. Problem is, if I do Gullit my team is poor in other places.

How much does prime Ronaldinho cost do you know? In drafts I have had him twice and hes insane

1.99m for his sbc and 2.089m in the market on xbox according to Futbin. I haven’t used him apart from in one draft, but can’t imagine him being worth it with TOTS card of similar level due to be released soon?

Gullit is just something else. You look at his stats and think wow but in fact he’s better than what you’d think. He feels so weird on the ball because he has so much balance. In fact he’s alongside FB Rabiot the only player above 6 ft 2 with >80 balance and he has 85. So it’s like controlling a very small player only he’s huge and strong. Which means that you can do stuff with him that you can’t do with anyone else. And his shooting with a Hunter chem style on is unbelievable. He has 8 goals in 3 rivals games for me, and he’s playing in a sort of CAM role. Scores everything, better shooting than CR7. I admit 3 games (+ a few drafts) is not enough to properly judge a player, but he was unreal in those three games.

If you can affort him and the rest of your team wouldn’t be that bad then I’d do it.

Cheers! I might take the plunge eventually. I've built a past/current/future United team but I've filled in spots with non-rival players where United don't have great options or I just can't afford them (plus 91 Ronaldinho for fun). I have the Giggs and Keane cards and can confirm that Giggs is brilliant on the game. I have Sancho on one wing who feels faster and his dribbling is really good, but Giggs is just class with everything he does and his finishing/shooting is a lot better than the stats would suggest. Always scores goals for me.
 
Chose tradeable rewards for rivals hoping for a TOTS card. Didnt get any, but did pack enough 84's and above to make the 80k i would have got guaranteed so not so bad.

Also guaranteed PL TOTS in red picks next week if you get G2 or above, so this weekend will be sweaty af

Unless I can play loads on Friday ill not get it done. The one weekend I wont be about!

Kept my packs for tomorrow, hopefully ill have 15 or so to open. No guarantee its BPL TOTS but most think it will be

Now that its guaranteed red picks with a TOTS from the major leagie of the week all weeks will be sweaty. feck trying for elites though, played a couple of games last night in D1 Rivals and everyone without fail was using EOAE Ribery, el tornado to FB Zlatan

I am willing to sweat it out! If I play this weekend though I have a crap team. Sold CR7, Mbappe etc and will build my team next week. Should be able to get to 17 though providing I get the time.

You should try sweat it out a weekend and see if you can get elite 1 week it would be well worth it.

EDIT: Having said that, I was elite last week and got 3 cards worth 35k combined. But TOTS will be much better
 
Anybody saved up their packs for today? I’ve got 52 waiting and I can probably do 4 or 5 more with the league SBCs. I should be getting around 350-400 rare gold players :eek:

10-5 now. Normal service has resumed, every deflection going back to their striker, Van Dijk POTY just running into my players not even attempting a tackle without a foul being called, and every team featuring a version of either of the Ronaldos too

The Havertz SBC might be worth looking at. Futbin say it costs about 96k, you get the Havertz card and 75k worth of packs

Remember, if people have saved rewards for tonight and lightning rounds, there will be plenty of cheap cards around later. I will do it tonight at some stage

:lol: 10-7 now. 2 really tight games, lost both in the 120th minute. Doesnt help I am working all weekend after this so feel the need to get as much of the 30 done today as possible.

Its got really sweaty now. I swear every game is drop back 1 depth 41212 with everyone except the 2 strikers on come back on defence. Theres just a wall of bodies to get through every game

Wait a while before opening the packs. The weights are minimal at the moment with so many opening packs, early hours should see them rise a little
 
Got 17 wins, thats enough for me. 2 games spare, but no need to play them so feck that.

Weirdly, currently sitting 42nd in the world.

Observations. Friday morning as soon as it opens is a good time to play. There didnt seem to be too many good players on at that time and i raced to a 10-1 start.

By midday players got good/sweaty/a combo of both. Every game seemed to be the same team and the same style of play, with various degrees of success.

Breaks are so important in WL. I was grinding my 30 games as I dont have time at all this weekend to play. Playing in one day I finished with 17 wins with 2 spare games, compared to last weekend where I was able to space the games out and won 20 with 2 games to spare.

Glad its over though. And cant wait to get a red Maddison in my player picks next week :lol:
 
Prime moments Kluivert with Finisher chem style is pretty much cheating, he's near post from every corner and wins fecking everything. What a player.
 
The button delay is absolutely hideous again. Don’t know why I bother. Skills are impossible, my keeper saves nothing, by the time the pass has even been played my strikers 6 miles offside...
 
I keep coming up against teams with 9+ icons in weekend league. This really isn't fair :/

What the feck am I meant to do against them? :lol:
