I realized I played against you, you're the guy who used FFS Sancho to destroy me in the second half haha. I don't mind having rematch although I've changed my style of play.

:lol: Sancho is a starter for me now, him and Cutrone FFS are my favourite cards this year by far

Has anyone ever tried 4-5-1 with 2 CAMs or would I be far too exposed in the midfield? Was thinking Seedorf and Nedved as CAMs and then Kante as CM.
 
I’m playing IF Semedo on 5 chemistry at right back and he’s absolutely unreal. I was considering replacing him with TOTS Ndombele but I honestly don’t think it would be an upgrade. Can’t believe an 83 rated inform is doing so well for me especially considering I’m sitting on 700k and could spend it on any player in the game below that to replace him with.

They aren’t in packs yet. Not sure how long they’ll be once they are released. Maybe a week?

Haven’t played with that formation since maybe FIFA 14 and haven’t faced it in recent years either. Has to be one of the worst formations surely?

I use it in drafts quite often, it's better than you'd imagine, however the players don't act as you'd expect so you need to be careful with who plays where.

Often the LM and RM will end up central, with the LAM and RAM being high and wide, sort of like a 433.
 
What can I do with PIM Schmeichel? He’s the worst keeper I’ve ever used on any Fifa.

I think he is too small to be worth multiple million coins. Having never used him, I'm sure he would be good but not good enough to justify trading 93 Schmeichel and like 1.2 million extra, I prefer the tall icons wherever possible.

For me personally, I will be completing Blanc when I get the next icon via FUT Swaps. He will probably cost me 300-400k coins which is a bargain from my experiences playing against him. Was planning to do Gullit, trading an icon in already for him, but I don't play the game enough to make those coins up any time soon.

Worst ever weekend league so far. Players feel like they’re running through treacle. 11 games 5 wins :lol:

Nah PS4. I always see people complaining about the gameplay and I don’t really notice it but today has been unplayable. Lineker who’s got over a goal a game for me hasn’t scored in about 10 games. Every pass is misplaced and every player feels slow and unresponsive

I think its when you come up against teams with moments best, Cruyff etc. It downgrades your players ability so the difference in player abilities is more noticeable. Probably bollocks though, but i can notice a shit player when i come up against them and batter them for 90 minutes but every cross or pass is perfectly over hit, under passed or misplaced by just an inch enough to miss. Yet their OP moments players like Cruyff in particular are able to unleash shots from 30 yards no sweat, and any time you try and defend against them miraculously their shots go through the CB legs or the defenders stretch inexplicably over the pass/shot.
 
So I bought a new ps4 just to play this yesterday.

Played 8 WL games (had 2k points to qualify). Played 8 games 4wins, 0 draws, 0 losses. 4 times I was ahead, the other player left and it said result is sent to EA to be decided or some such shit which never happened. also happened in my only rivals game. Is this a new thing where someone leaves and EA have to decide the winner. One of them was when I scored a 118th minute winner and the guy quit right as the ball hit the net.

Think it takes a good few hours to sort out, but you should get the win eventually

Yeah I must agree with @iammemphis the game has to downgrade players at different points, because they feel so different at different times.

For instance, I've got scream Bas Dost, 99 pace, 99 finishing and he feels terrible due to his 84 rating

Sometimes changing the chemistry helps with that, I had scream costa with deadeye and he couldn’t hit a barn door, but with finisher he’s quality.

Doesn't this make it kind of exploitable too. I mean if I do I'll be 9 & 0 without having to play a decent player.
 
Just got TOTS Wan Bissaka, Rodri and that Wigan Right Back.
Was hoping for Zlatan - hopefully will get him later in the week.
 
Stopped at 15-5, no chance of finishing them as I'm going away tonight for the weekend.

Felt really good today though went 9-1 in my 2nd lot of 10 games which basically never happens.

9-1 in games 10-20 is definitely impressive
 
89 TOTGS Handanovic is the best goalkeeper in the game by a distance imo. Unreal goalkeeper, consistent too.

He isnt. He is the best Serie A keeper for sure, but having used him for most of the game since his release, and then going to nif De Gea, the difference is night and day.

Theres a glitch on keepers this year, where upgraded keepers arent upgraded on certain stats. Face card stats increase, but for example reactions dont increase on upgraded keepers.

Nif De Gea has 90 reactions, as do all of his upgraded cards. And the only keepers who have higher than that are PIM Yashin, PIM Lehmann, prime Yashin and Prime Lehmann. Any other keeper may be better on paper, but the in game stats dont match the face card stats so they arent worth the coins

I don’t think stats matter that much for goalies. It never has, an example being 81 Butland who was completely broken in FIFA 17 IIRC. De Gea can be great, but he is a bit inconsistent and I think that’s the main difference between him and 89 Handanovic. Sometimes De Gea can be awful.

I’ve played 18 games with 89 Handanovic and he hasn’t let in a single clumsy goal and he makes saves for me on a regular basis that I’ve only seen De Gea do. His base card which I had before him didn’t make any mistakes either. I’ve tried all of De Gea, Prime Yashin, mid VDS, Courtois, Neuer, OTW Alisson, SIF Szczesny, SIF Donnarumma for extended periods and 89 Handanovic has been by far the best for me. Now is the first time I trust my goalkeeper 100% and let my opponents shoot when their angle isn’t perfect because I know it will be saved.

I also won a game this weekend league because he made 2-3 incredible saves where I was sure it was going to be a goal. Can’t say that I’ve experienced that with any other goalie bar De Gea. Goalkeepers are generally poor in FIFA 19 because they don’t have the same impact as goalies in previous FIFAs did, and those who do are inconsistent, with the one exception being Handanovic who is as good as De Gea was for me in FIFA 18.

If i remember correctly, reactions never got upgraded last year as well. Maybe it was just me, but as far as i remember, i didnt see it changing with a lot of upgrades, so i sticked with the De Gea NIF

They gave me 4 losses.... In every game I was ahead.

I'm tempted to message customer support and ask them why would I rage quit at 2-0 up after 10 mins. 3-0 up at h/t, 3-0 up in the 80th minute and after scoring to go 2-1 up at the death in extra time. Was in such bad for I'm now 5W 8L after 13.

Yeah I was impressed with myself, think the poor 6-4 start helped with that though as the last couple of games of the 2nd ten were really tight games.

That's a joke, no point messaging them though as they don't give a flying feck about customers so your complaint will just fall on deaf ears.
 
I'm away for 2 weeks from Wednesday so trying to decide whether to sell my tradable players and buy them back then, if prices rise though I'll be gutted having to change my team around.
